Stuburą stabilizuojančių pratimų poveikis, 19 – 20 metų amžiaus specialaus fizinio ugdymo grupės merginų, nugaros skausmui / The Efect of Lumbar Stabilization Exercises of Years Old Women With low Back pain

Višinskienė, Daiva 10 May 2006 (has links)
The problem of low back pain is visibly increasing. About 80% of the population suffers from low back pain. Recently, the factors that affect lumbar stability have been an area of extensive research. The purpose of this study is to assess the effects of lumbar stabilization exercises program for young women (19-20 years) with low back pain. The following objectives were put forward: to assess stability of lumbar spine of young women before applying exercises program and after 10 weeks of muscular strengthening exercises around the lumbar spine; to evaluate changes in the core muscles before and after specific stabilization exercises and pain assessment. The study included a group of 37 young women (19-20 years), who felt low back pain at least once in their life. All participants were randomly allocated to either training group, which consisted of 20 young women or control group, which consisted of 17 participants. The subjects in the training group attended two supervised 1 hour exercise sessions per week for 10 weeks. A program of special physical exercises to improve core musculature was created for them. The exercise training program required training of deep muscles. In order to retrain the deep muscles, specific and testing with the STABILIZER was required. The control subjects continued their usual physical activities during the week. Both groups were assessed similarly two times: before training began and after it ended.mekis.

Baumann, Laura 18 May 2005 (has links)
Many people all over the world suffer from back pain. It is unavoidable for pregnant women too. According to various authors, about 50 % of women suffer from this symptom. During pregnancy, high loads that are influenced by mechanical as well as hormonal factors affect the spine. The aim of the work was to evaluate effectiveness of the muscle flexion and strengthening program in the reduction of back pain in pregnancy. In the research, the state of muscles producing waste and pelvis movements was evaluated before and after kinesiotherapy application in pregnant women suffering from back pain, and an influence of flexion and strengthening for muscle condition was evaluated in pregnant women suffering from back pain. The research lasted 10 weeks and it was performed in the Kaunas Clinical Hospital II in 2004. In total, 56 pregnant women were surveyed. 12 women participated in the kinesiotherapy program (experimental group), 11 women who did not participate in the kinesiotherapy program due to various reasons were attributed to the control group. Remaining 33 women did not participate in the research due to earlier problems with spine, syndrome of pelvic ligament relaxation or other individual reasons. Results of these two groups were compared and analyzed. Tests that were performed before and after the research show that results of the experimental group have improved significantly, while women in the control group have reported pain and disturbed physical activity. Juosmens kryžmens neurologinių skausmo sindromų klinikinė įtaka pacientų funkcinei būklei ir su sveikata susijusiai gyvenimo kokybei / Lumbosacral radicular syndrome: influence of pain parameters to functional status and health related quality of life Lumbosacral radicular syndrome: influence of pain parameters to functional status and health related quality of life

Petrikonis, Kęstutis 13 October 2005 (has links)
INTRODUCTION Low back pain have become an urgent problem recently. Four out of five people already have or will experience backaches during their life span, for 10% of them this pain will become chronic. Due to its great spread and treatment, health institutions experience dramatic losses for backache diagnostics and morbidity. Together with financial losses related to patient incapacity to work, his/her care, sickness benefits, etc. the expenditure becomes enormous. Thus back pain are no longer considered a medical or a social problem, but it is regarded a complex bio- psycho-social issue in today’s community. The medical part of this issue remains very important. Solving the back pain problem, significant is the knowledge of fundamental neuro- and skeleton anatomy, pain neurophysiology and neurochemistry; in the clinical practice closely related are the basics of neurology, pain medicine, orthopedics, rehabilitation and other disciplines. Consequently, it is not simple for a medicine practitioner to find the right diagnostic direction or to choose the right treatment. The most complicated issues in the back pain clinical practice are neurological syndromes (neuropathic, neurogenic). These are related with nerve structure back radicular, dorsal ganglion or the damage of nerve branches. These syndromes make up to 10% of all backaches and are generally called radicular pain syndromes. There often emerges hyper-diagnostics or sometimes the syndromes are ignored completely... Achramavičienė, Miglė 23 May 2005 (has links)
The purpose of the study was to find out the importance of exercise individualization treating chronic low back pain. Methods: 32 chronic low back pain pacients, 32.12±4.83 years of age, were divided into two groups under research. The first group took part in 14 weeks general trunk muscles strengthening program. The second group patients obtained individual 14 weeks trunk muscles strengthening programs. Individual programs were made by physiotherapist in accordance with trunk muscles static and dynamic endurance characteristics which were measured and evaluated with trunk muscles capability tests. The capability of trunk muscles of all patients were measured and evaluated before and after exercise program using tests suggested by D. J Magee in year 2000. At the same time the intensity of experienced pain was evaluated using Phoenix recommendations (1999). Results: Both exercise programs significantly reduced chronic low back pain and also amplified trunk muscles static and dynamic endurance. The effect of individualized exercise treatment programs for reducing pain was significantly higher. The average intensity of pain dropped from 5.69 to 2.25 in the general exercise group, and from 5.63 to 0.94 in the individualized exercise programs group. The improvement in the individualized group was significantly higher than that in the general group, i.e. 4.69 ± 1.78 and 3.44±1.71 respectively. Other significant difference between two exercise groups was different distribution of... [to full text]

Aleksejevaitė, Giedrė 18 June 2008 (has links)
[toliau žr. visą tekstą] / Pain is a very serious problem in the 21st century. More and more young people complain of backache.
