Este trabalho trata de analisar a transição do autor Lourenço Mutarelli entre campos, dos quadrinhos para o campo literário, em que O cheiro do ralo (2007) materializa esse processo. Seu primeiro romance possui dificuldades analíticas de forma e temas que trazem ainda resquícios do autor de quadrinhos. Essas dificuldades recaem em frequentes equívocos de avaliação e classificação de Mutarelli, quando não recaem em reações intempestivas sobre sua produção e origem artística. Tomando essa entrada como problemática, é evidente a impossibilidade ainda em compreender a obra e o gesto que ela representa, por conta de métodos que não levam em conta a dinâmica do campo literário brasileiro contemporâneo e seus produtores. Assim, esse trabalho se debruça sobre o problema levando em conta as particuliridades das dinâmicas do meio dos quadrinhos e do meio literário, aliadas à leitura analítica do texto literário. Investigaremos as relações estabelecidas pelo autor com os produtores nessa movimentação, e como seu primeiro romance expressa essa complexidade. Auxiliados pelas descrições e teorizações sobre a dinâmica do campo literário (Bourdieu), veremos como a geração de valor é transferida ao autor e sua obra. E como O cheiro do ralo inaugura novos problemas acerca da forma literária e a produção contemporânea de literatura, inclusive de espaços no campo literário ainda não privilegiados à descrição ou análise acadêmica. / This work analyzes the transition of the author Lourenço Mutarelli between fields, from the comics field to the literary field, in which O cheiro do ralo (2007) realize this process. The first novel has analytical difficulties of form and themes that possibly still bring remnants of comics author. These difficulties produce frequent misunderstandings in value judgement of evaluation and classification of Mutarelli\'s work, when they do not fall into sudden reactions to their experimental production or artistic origin. We recognize that this entry is problematic and it is evident, due to analysis methods that do not take into account the dynamics of the contemporary Brazilian literary field and its producers, that makes it tough to comprehend his first novel, formaly and thematically, and the act that it represents. Thus, this work focuses on the problem taking into account the particularity of the dynamics of the medium of comics and the literary field, combined with the analytical reading of the literary text. We will inves-tigate the relations established by the author with the producers in this movement, and in which level his first novel expresses this complexity. Moreover, we will see how the generation of value is laid down to the author and his work, supported by the descriptions and theorizations about the dynamics of the literary field (Bourdieu). And finally, how O cheiro do ralo set up new problems about the literary form and the contemporary production of litera-ture, including in that spaces in the literary field not yet privileged to the academic description or analysis.

The purpose is to understand the underground language in the hybrid structure within the form of the romance genre. We have made a discursive structural comparison between O Cheiro do Ralo and Rabelais's work, Gargantua (1985) and O terceiro livro dos fatos e ditos heróicos do bom Pantagruel (2006). We associate the marginal language represented by Mutarelli with the works of artists such as Renoir, Munch and Bosch, besides the musical art. All of them are understood as reading devices of the novel, and support the references or the appropriations made by the author in the process of framing the narrative. The contamination of these languages one each other is made by the voice of the implicit narrator. In addition, the selected theories of Bakhtin about plurilingualism and skaz support the research from the social discourse standpoint, and the critical work of Will Eisner (2010; 2013) sustains the entry of the author's voice through the current artwork, mainly, in the language of the graphic novel. It is the entrance of the language of comics, which allows the introduction of these artistic languages contained within the production of Mutarelli before his debut novel. The hypotheses assert that O Cheiro do Ralo is located at the threshold of the novel and the graphic novel, by transiting between the two genres without fixating on any of them. Whereas the underground language differs from the marginal language through certain artistic procedures, and through the recycling of other languages, such as the grotesque and the language of the streets. It is concluded that O Cheiro do Ralo stands as a mediating work of inclusion of the underground literature supported by the marginal one, which is, in turn, evidenced by the artistic imaginary. The cartoonist converges toward to the contemporary scripture in an original language that tells and shows as image and social voice in the Underground Literature / novela inaugural do cartunista Lourenço Mutarelli. O propósito é compreender a linguagem underground na estrutura híbrida dentro da forma do gênero romance. Nós fizemos uma comparação estrutural discursiva entre O Cheiro do Ralo e Gargantua (1985), do livro de Rabelais, e O terceiro livro dos fatos e os ditos heróicos do bom Pantagruel (2006). Associamos a linguagem marginal representada por Mutarelli com os trabalhos de artistas como Renoir, Munch e Bosch, além da arte musical. Todos eles são entendidos enquanto trabalhos de leitura do romance, e fundamentam as referências ou as apropriações feitas pelo autor no processo de estruturação da narrativa. A contaminação destas linguagens em cada uma delas é feita pela voz do narrador implícito. Além disso, as teorias selecionadas de Bakhtin sobre o plurilinguismo e o skaz fundamentam a pesquisa a partir do discurso social e o trabalho crítico de Will Eisner (2010;2013) sustenta a entrada da voz do autor através do trabalho artístico, principalmente, na linguagem da graphic novel. As hipóteses afirmam que O Cheiro do Ralo está localizado no limiar do romance e da grafic novel, transitando entre os dois gêneros sem fixar-se em nenhum deles. Ao mesmo tempo, a linguagem underground difere da linguagem marginal através de certos procedimentos artísticos, e da reciclagem de outras linguagens, como o grotesco e a linguagem das ruas. É conclusivo que O Cheiro do Ralo representa um trabalho mediador de inclusão da literatura underground amparado pela linguagem marginal, que é, por sua vez, evidenciado pelo imaginário artístico. The interpretation follows a psychoanalytical reading, meaning that the fictional text is taken as a clinical case. The arguments were developed by combining theoretical vignettes with data provided by the analysis of the fictional character, a procedure that finds its reason in the fact that it follows the clinical praxis, defined as a practice where theory is put to work for what is raised along the analytical process.The associations produced by the character in this chronicle lead to the understanding of a fragmented psychological constitution which is shown by the way he develops his relations with the surrounding world. The interpretive reading of the character allows us to question the possibilities found by the subject in relation to his superegoic constitution, according to the psychological frame in which he inscribes himself. With the tools provided by the theory here evoked and the analysis that was developed, we can see a situation in which there is an effort to build the ego ideal, although this process happens in a fragmented and disorganized way. For the case under analysis, the absence of an inscription that enables to sustain the superegoic functions to be built by the subject causes an endless search for elements that, in a certain sense, could replace what he evokes as being needed in his process of accomplishing the superegoic functions / O objetivo desta dissertação é o de ensejar o diálogo entre os temas teóricos relativos à constituição do conceito supereu na obra de Freud e a leitura do personagem da crônica O cheiro do ralo, analisado nos moldes de um processo analítico, sendo, portanto, levado à condição de caso clínico. A argumentação foi desenvolvida a partir da conjugação de vinhetas teóricas com dados provenientes da análise do personagem da crônica literária, procedimento que se justifica por acompanhar o exercício da prática clínica, no qual a teoria se coloca a serviço do que é suscitado ao longo do trabalho analítico. As associações expostas pelo personagem principal da crônica levam à compreensão de uma constituição psíquica fragmentada, exposta pelo modo como se desenrola sua relação com seu mundo circundante. A leitura interpretativa do personagem leva ao questionamento das possibilidades encontradas pelo sujeito, em relação à sua constituição superegóica, no contexto de constituição psíquica em que se inscreve. À luz da teoria aqui convocada e da parte analítica empreendida, deparamo-nos com uma situação em que há esforço de construção do ideal de Eu, ainda que de maneira fragmentária e desordenada. No caso analisado, a ausência de uma inscrição que pudesse sustentar a construção das funções superegóicas para o sujeito faz com que se constitua uma busca por elementos que, em alguma medida, pudessem substituir os traços convocados para cumprir as funções superegóicas
