Sujeito, linguagem e escrita : um estudo neurolinguistico / Individual, Language and writing : a neurolinguistics study

Navarro, Paloma Rocha, 1982- 11 March 2009 (has links)
Orientador: Maria Irma Hadler Coundry / Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Estudos da Linguagem / Made available in DSpace on 2018-08-15T01:08:47Z (GMT). / Abstract:The research "Individual, Language and writing: a neurolinguistics study" deals with the accompaniment of two boys, MO and DC 17 and 16 years respectively, the school sent to the Laboratory of Neurolinguistics (LABONE / IEL /UNICAMP) with complaints of learning difficulties. To this end, we had the following objectives: (i) the study of issues surrounding the acquisition and use of read / write with the individuals, (ii) understand the relationship between MO and DC with speech, with the exercise of language and with the writing / reading based on their life stories, and school, to drive the longitudinal speech - for analysis of this research. To this end, comparisons were made between his writing at school (used books scanned from school) and his writings on individual speech therapy sessions (the transcribed and scanned) in order to show the status and progress of the acquisition and use of reading / writing with their specific and that can come to (re) establish, given the therapeutic care devoted to them. This work is based on theoretical and methodological assumptions of a discursive neurolinguistics (COUDRY, 1986/1988), based on a historical conception of language (FRANCHI, 1977), as it presents itself as a place of human interaction and dialogue, as work activity and constitutive of subjectivity, of otherness and of itself as object of reflection. Unlike what happens in school and in health, which ignore key issues, especially at the beginning of the process as a variety of speech in which the child has acquired language and oral transit (normal) of the oral and the written marks constructed literacy in society, this research analyzes and considers the process of acquisition and social uses of writing in their own dynamic operation. On the way contrary to the speech pathologic homogeneous and present in the area of speech therapy, this study aims to show that when we look at the subject in a unique way, with stories of individual lives, it is possible to draw a new story for them through writing, because it is through the language that the subject is constituted and develops its relationship with the group (ORLANDI, 2006) The data in the study reveal such procedures, and also complain about the place of marginalized young people like MO and DC were over the years they spent in the school. Outside the school system, children with difficulties in reading and writing, MO and DC, today, almost adults, taken (both they and their families) a position of failure and discouragement about life, because the mark of not read and writing is so strong that end corresponding to it, believing it. / Mestrado / Linguistica / Mestre em Linguística

Da sombra à luz = a patologização de crianças sem patologia / From shadow to light : the excessive labeling of normal children

Antonio, Giovana Dragone Rosseto, 1985- 18 August 2018 (has links)
Orientador: Maria Irma Hadler Coudry / Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Estudos da Linguagem / Made available in DSpace on 2018-08-18T14:48:04Z (GMT). Além disso, comparamos as propostas de material e atividades da Associação Brasileira de Dislexia com o trabalho realizado no Centro de Convivência de Linguagens (CCazinho/IEL/Unicamp) / Abstract: In the face of a background of excessive labelling in which there are a great number of diseases and diagnostics related to school problems, mostly concerning the processes of reading and writing acquisition, this masters dissertation discusses, based on the Discoursive Neurolinguistics, how these diagnostics are being given and the consequences that they bring to children's lives. In spite of the many "diseases" that are emerging to justify school problems and failures or to justify an inappropriate behavior from some children, this text will focus on the debates on dyslexia. Therefore, our goal is to discuss how dyslexia came up as a disease, analyzing for that matter the authorized discourse on it (mostly from the Associação Brasileira de Dislexia - ABD) and the conception of language in which this discourse is based on that work as an apparatus capable of controlling the subject, according to Agamben (2004). Besides, we compare the activities and material from the Associação Brasileira de Dislexia with the work done at the Centro de Convivência de Linguagens (CCazinho/IEL/Unicamp) / Mestrado / Linguistica / Mestre em Linguística

Sujeitos, histórias e rótulos : a leitura e a escrita de crianças e jovens diagnosticados com dislexia / Subject, stories and labels : reading and writing of children and young people diagnosed with dyslexia

Muller, Laura, 1984- 23 August 2018 (has links)
Orientadores: Maria Irma Hadler Coudry, Sonia Maria Sellin Bordin / Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Estudos da Linguagem / Made available in DSpace on 2018-08-23T03:03:35Z (GMT). Nesse processo, a aprendizagem da leitura e da escrita desconstrói e desqualifica o diagnóstico que vai perdendo força e sentido na história do sujeito / Abstract: This research aims to analyze the acquisition and the use of reading and writing in five children and young people who received the diagnosis of Dyslexia and who were longitudinally followed in the Centro de Convência de Linguagens (CCazinho) at the Institute of Language Studies (IEL), at Unicamp. From the encounter between the researcher and the research subjects, the critical diagnosis is traced and guided by the theoretical and methodological perspective of Discursive Neurolinguistics (ND). Firstly, one argues about the erroneous conception of reading and writing as code, which appears in the definition, evaluation and treatment of dyslexia. At the same time, through the analysis of data regarding the reading and writing of the subjects followed, one seeks to deconstruct what was seen as a symptom of dyslexia to investigate the hypothesis that these children and young people build in the process of acquisition and use of reading and writing. Then, the review focuses on the function and the reach that the diagnosis has socially. For this, one uses the interpretation of diagnostic such as devices (Agamben, 2010) which capture the subject, guide and determine the speeches and way of acting of the school, the family and the subject themselves. Strategically, the diagnosis of Dyslexia displaces the social issues to the bodies of the subjects and disclaims society by the increasing failure in teaching reading and writing which we live today. The mode of operation of this device is discussed by the analysis of the subjects and their families' speeches about the diagnosis and by the analysis of the diagnostic reports, the school data and the treatments that some of the subjects were submitted to. Finally, one seeks to give visibility to the diagnoses hidden problems, investigating the non-pathological difficulties that these subjects have. For this, one discusses how these subjects are failing in school, sometimes because they face difficulties in understanding the little explicit game of that institution, either because the family has been unable, for various reasons, to help the subjects, or because the school, the reading and the writing do not make sense to them. In contrast, one analyzes the longitudinal follow of one of the research subjects, discussing how the practices with/about language in CCazinho - that take into account the individual, his history, his interests and build an active speaker for his reading and writing - opens a possibility of changes in the process of acquisition and use of reading and writing of the child. In this process, the learning of reading and writing deconstructs and disqualifies the diagnosis that ends losing strength and direction in the history of the subject / Mestrado / Linguistica / Mestra em Linguística
