Neverbální komunikace a učitel / Non-verbal communication and teacherPĚŠKOVÁ, Lucie January 2016 (has links)
This thesis, which is divided into two parts, deals with non-verbal means of communication in teaching practice. In the theoretical part there is a summary of themes such as communication, verbal, nonverbal communication and pedagogical communication. Emphasis is put to sub-themes of nonverbal communication, which are facial expressions, gestures, eye contact, kinesics, postures, proxemics, haptics, para-language and physical appearance/environments. In the practical part there is a presentation of the analysis of chosen samples of video recordings, which is focused on mentioned sub-themes of nonverbal communication. The value of these is stressed in process of teaching, too.

The aim of this master thesis is to discover correlation trends between teacher interaction style and his extent of providing opportunities for teaching how to learn. According to the results the aim is to create a prototype of the teacher interaction style, who has got the best dispositions to provide opportunities for teaching how to learn. The first and the second chapter deal with theoretical basis. Key competences, especially key competence for learning are depicted in the first chapter. The second chapter focuses on a topic of pedagogical communication and interaction and it is concluded with a discussion of the interaction style of the teacher. All the details on this research are described in the third chapter. The methodology is topped with the results, discussions and the overall finish. At the end of the work the bibliographic references, attachments, lists of figures and tables are revealed.

This diploma thesis deals with a question as a part of educational communication. The aim of the thesis is to analyze educational dialogue at primary school with an emphasis on the function, frequency and type of teachers' and pupils' questions. The first part of the thesis explores the theoretical background of function, frequency and typology of questions. It involves also the topic of the waiting time after asking a question, identifying the pupil who should answer, the quality of pupil's answer as well as teacher's response to it. The theoretical background is complemented by research based on analyses of three video records of lessons and interviews with teachers. One of the key findings of the research is that teacher's style of questioning is determined by his conception of teaching and the aims set.

The scientific problem of the dissertation: what attitudes on characteristics of linguistic communication competence dominate among physical education teachers considering their attitudes both on linguistic communication competence, and on communication in social situations? The research object – attitudes on linguistic communication competence and communication in social situations. The scientific solution of the research object that corresponds the research subject is oriented to the detection of verbal communication competence in native (Lithuanian) speech of physical education teachers as well as to the evaluation of their attitude on communication in social situations. The aim of the research was to disclose physical education teachers‘ attitudes on pedagogical communication as the determinants of pupils‘ approach to physical self-education.

This diploma thesis concerns the area of self-presentation of a teacher and effective use of his communication skills. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and presents basic concepts of social communication and defines communication skills essential for effective teaching. The practical part is partly based on the output of a questionnaire survey where the author probes knowledge of communication skills of students of pedagogical faculty and how they evaluate their readiness for the profession of a teacher. Then the author provides a summary of the main rules of communication, necessary skills and practical recommendations. Summary of the main rules of communication, necessary skills and practical advice is also a guide that should help prevent problems with self-presentation and to mitigate or eliminate deficiencies in this area.

Previous issue date: 2007 / Resumo: Nesse trabalho nos propusemos investigar o campo da EAD Digital (educação a distância
realizada a partir do uso das novas tecnologias digitais) a fim de compreender as bases
teóricas que sustentam as diversas e variadas práticas na área. Com a pesquisa, concluímos
que: 1- A prática em EAD Digital tem forte teor comunicacional e isso favorece a que
sujeitos diversos, mesmo sem formação pedagógica, desenvolvam atividades na área; 2-
pelo teor comunicacional que possui, a EAD Digital não pode ser simplesmente entendida e
pensada como "educação" no sentido tradicional; trata-se de uma prática social nova
possibilitada pelos avanços no campo das tecnologias de informação e comunicação; 3- a
EAD Digital tem uma racionalidade comunicativa, ou seja, é uma atividade que se realiza
na medida em que os sujeitos envolvidos no processo formativo produzem e vivenciam
situações comunicativas que garantem a satisfação de suas necessidades; 4- pelo que
acabamos de dizer, é coerente e, a nosso ver, muito apropriado, que a atividade em EAD
Digital seja entendida como "comunicação pedagógica"; 5- o campo da EAD Digital tem
problemáticas próprias e especificidades, fator que nos impede de compreendê-lo ou
interpretá-lo com base apenas em conhecimentos teóricos do campo da educação
presencial. / Abstract: In this work we proposed the investigation of Digital DE (distance education provided
through the use of new digital technologies) in order to understand the theoretical grounds
that support the various and varied practices in the area. With the research, we concluded
that: 1- The practice in Digital DE has strong communicational content and that contributes
for various individuals, even without pedagogical background, developing activities in the
area; 2- because of its communicational content, Digital DE cannot be understood and
thought of as mere "education" in its traditional sense; it is a new social practice enabled by
the advances in the fields of information technology and communication; 3- Digital DE has
a communicative rationality, that is, it is an activity that is performed to the extent in which
the individuals involved in the educational process produce and experience communicative
situations that ensure the meeting of their needs; 4- from what we have just said, it is
coherent and, in our view, most appropriate, that the Digital DE activity be understood as
"pedagogical communication"; 5- the field of Digital DE has its own problems and
specificities, a factor that prevents us from understand it or interpret it based only on the

The thesis Feedback in the proces of education, discusses formative feedback whose goal is to convey information to the student, which positively influences the students progress. Therefore it is an ongoing action of the teacher, who is monitoring the progress and results of the students, so that the teacher can help the students reach their goals and help form their overall personality. The first part of the thesis concentrates on the definition of feedback in the context of educational communication. Here the functions, goals of feedback and various typologies, with which we can meet, are summed up. Attention is further given to the problematics of working with students mistakes, educational goals, feedback in relation to evaluation and the role of formative evaluation in the educational process, the key of which is feedback. Part of the text further gives attention to how to work with feedback, and what to look out for so that it is most effective. The empirical second part concentrates on a research of methods of ten public school elementary teacher which they use to provide their students feedback. In the form of a case study it looks at how teachers approach feedback, and what forms and procedures they use, and what they want to achieve through it.

The master thesis deal with communication and cooperation between teachers and families on the first grade of elementary school follow up distance learning during state of emergency. It is about types of communication and cooperation between teachers and families which are used and also about pros and cons of distance learning or crucial conditions for distance learning. Theoretical part of the thesis deal with basic knowledges of communication, communication channels and barriers. One of the chapters is about pedagogical communication. Next chapters are focused on cooperation between school and family, especially on expectation from each sides and roles of parents connected to school. Defines topics about teacher, family, distance learning or e-learning. Empiric part of the thesis focused on used types of communication and cooperation between teachers, parents and students, pros and cons of distance learning and crucial conditions for distance learning. Data was obtained with two research methods, the first is quantitative questionnaire and the second is qualitative interview with the teachers. These teachers are from the first grade of elementary schools and have experience with distance learning.
