The thesis The Picture of Polish and Poland in the Language Textbooks for Czech reconstructs the image of Poland and Polish in the textbooks, grammar and other language books, which are addressed to Czech recipients. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part consists of three main sections, which are based on the secondary literature, the first focuses on the the linguistic picture of the world, the second deals with the stereotypes and the prototypes and the third aims at the didactics of foreign languages in the Czech and Polish background. The purpose of the practical part is, based on an analysis of selected topics, to create a coherent picture of Polish and Poland. The topics include, for example, the roles of a man and woman in the Polish family, the characteristics of the Poles, spending time, cuisine and eating, names and surnames, description of historical events etc.

The aim of this diploma thesis, entitled "The Linguistic Picture of Warsaw in Lyrics of Polish Songs", is to reconstruct the image of the Polish capital by analyzing songs by Warsaw hip hop performers. The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part consists of three chapters focusing on the linguistic picture of the world, hip hop subculture both in the world and in Poland and the language of hip hop. The main goal of the practical part is to reconstruct the image of Warsaw as perceived by the Warsaw hip hop subculture. The dissertation is devoted to the cultural study of Russian concept HONEY. The complex analysis of the semantics and functioning of the tokens HONEY was given. The structure of a concept was identified; its place in the Russian linguistic picture of the world was defined. Based on dictionaries of the Russian language, texts of modern journalism, as well as on the results of Psycholinguistic experiments was proven the dynamics of the semantic evolution of the word HONEY; were identified new meanings which are not recorded in the dictionaries. / Диссертация посвящена лингвокультурологическому исследованию русского концепта МЁД. Проведен комплексный анализ семантики и функционирования лексемы МЁД, выявлена структура концепта, показано его место в русской языковой картине мира. На материале словарей русского языка, текстов современной публицистики, а также по результатам психолингвистических экспериментов в диссертации доказана динамика семантического развития слова МЁД, выявлены новые смыслы, не зафиксированные толковыми словарями.

The work is devoted to the effective design of electives for pupils. The paper considers the problems of the development of technological thinking in secondary school students; inconsistencies in the material and technical base of educational institutions that do not allow pupils to fully solve actual production, technological, and design and research tasks in the classroom. In the course of the work, a detailed analysis of various literature on the stated problems was carried out, as well as a draft of the optional course “Post-industrial society” was developed, a content plan, a thesaurus and constructs of training courses of the optional course were drawn up. In the future, it is going to continue work on the project and introduce it into the school system. The implementation of the project in extracurricular activities of a technological orientation will allow students to form such important competencies as: initiative, the ability to think technologically and find innovative solutions to problem situations, and the ability to self-educate. / Работа посвящена разработке проекта факультативного курса способствующего развитию технологического мышления учащихся старшей школы. В работе рассматриваются проблемы развития технологического мышления учащихся общеобразовательной школы; несоответствия материально-технической базы образовательных учреждении, не позволяющих учащимся на уроках в полной мере решать актуальные производственно-технологические и проектно-исследовательские задачи. В ходе работы был проведён подробный анализ различной литературы по заявленным проблемам, а также был разработан проект факультативного курса «Постиндустриальное общество», составлен тематический план, тезаурус и конструкты учебных занятий факультативного курса. В дальнейшем планируется продолжить работу над проектом и внедрить его в систему школьного образования. Реализация проекта во внеурочной деятельности технологической направленности позволит сформировать у учащихся такие важные компетенции как: инициативность, способность технологически мыслить и находить нестандартные решения проблемных ситуации, способность к самообразованию.

Работа посвящена осмыслению и комплексному описанию когнитивных признаков, смыслового объема и способов репрезентации концепта «Тайна» в русской языковой картине мира. Материал исследования составили: 190 лексических единиц со значением тайны в толковании слова, извлеченных из толковых, фразеологических, семантических, синонимических и антонимических словарей русского языка; 590 расширенных контекстов, представленных в Национальном корпусе русского языка; 149 ассоциатов, полученных в результате психолингвистического эксперимента. В первой главе работы рассматриваются теоретические принципы и концептуальная база исследования, раскрываются ключевые понятия «языковая картина мира», «концепт» и «концептосфера», а также описываются методики концептуального анализа и ассоциативного эксперимента. Во второй главе рассматриваются семантическая структура концепта «Тайна», его когнитивные признаки и смысловой объем концепта. Проводится анализ дискурсивного варьирования лексем, являющихся базовыми репрезентантами концепта «Тайна», на основе данных, собранных в Национальном корпусе русского языка. После этого производится проверка семантического содержания исследуемого концепта на основе результатов, полученных в ходе проведения цепочечного ассоциативного эксперимента. Материалы исследования могут быть использованы в преподавании дисциплин гуманитарного профиля («Когнитивная лингвистика», «Лингвокультурология»), а также при создании учебных пособий, словарей концептов или лингвокультурных тезаурусов. В приложении представлена иллюстрация структуры концепта «Тайна». / The thesis is devoted to the understanding and comprehensive description of cognitive features, semantic scope and ways of representing the concept of “taina” (“secret”) in the Russian linguistic picture of the world. The research material consisted of 190 lexical units with the meaning of secret in the meaning of the word, extracted from explanatory, phraseological, semantic, synonymic and antonymic dictionaries of the Russian language; 590 extended contexts presented in the National Corpus of the Russian Language; 149 associates obtained during a psycholinguistic experiment. The first chapter of the thesis examines the theoretical principles and conceptual framework of the research. It reveals the key concepts of “linguistic picture of the world”, “concept” and “conceptual sphere”, and describes the methods of conceptual analysis and associative experiment. The second chapter examines the semantic structure of the concept of “Secret”, its cognitive features and the semantic scope of the concept. The analysis of the discursive variation of lexemes, which are the basic representatives of the concept of “Secret”, is carried out on the basis of data collected in the National Corpus of the Russian Language. The semantic content of the concept is checked based on the results obtained during the associative chain experiment. The research materials can be used in teaching humanities disciplines (“Cognitive Linguistics”, “Linguoculturology”), as well as in creating textbooks, conceptual dictionaries or linguistic and cultural thesauruses. The appendix provides an illustration of the structure of the concept of “Secret”.

This thesis examines the conceptualization of life in the lyrics of Czech popular songs of 1960s. The thesis derives theoretically and methodologically from cognitively and culturally-based approaches to language, especially from the theory of conceptual metaphor and metonymy (e. g. Lakoff and Johnson) and the concept of language as a picture of the world (school of Lublin). At first the thesis analyses the semantics of lexeme life. The analysis is based on the data from dictionaries and it reaches the basics of the linguistic picture of life as it is anchored in common language. Simultaneously the thesis works with the picture of life (in contrast with death) how it is served in the literature about Czech folk culture. The main part of this study consists of almost a hundred interpretations of lyrics from the examined period, which depict human life in its various stages and forms (through oppositions of life - death, youth - old age, etc.). The analysis follows relevant semantic elements which participate on its conceptualization. The thesis describes systematically and in detail particularly metaphors (structural, ontological and orientational), metonymy, and also the image schemes which are associated with life (scheme of JOURNEY, CYCLE). This thesis engages in the language acquistion of the mother tongue (czech) and the second language (English) in preschool age and discribes the development of child language competence in both languages based on available theories, results of illustrative research and one-year observation in kindergarten with bilingual education program. In the beginning, there are defined theories which engaged in past and engage today (from 20th century till the present day) in study of language acquisition. In addition of these theories we focus factors which influence on the language development of children and consideration even theory of children's linguistic picture of the world. We compare the development of language competence (phonetic-phonological, semantic, grammatical, communication, pragmatic and vocabulary) in first language (czech) which are defined in agreement with available theories with empirical discoveries which indicate the development of those competence in second language (English) and we discribe partial methodological processes.

Koncept čtyř ročních období v českém jazyce / Concept of the four seasons in Czech language

The diploma thesis explores the four seasons from the view point of the linguistic picture of the world theory. The etholinguistic approach is applied in the thesis - attention is paid to the Czech-specific perception of reality especially focused on the weather and the changes of the nature in the course of the four seasons. Human perception of the change is based upon the senses - the sense of hearing, the sense of smell, and touch and the eyesight. Each season is unique. The seasons can be differentiated by their season specific stereotypes, season prototypes, and connotations. On the linguistic pictures of each season collocations are built, from which new lexical items originate, describing the season as such. Due to anthropocentrism we perceive individual astronomical and meteorological issues as personified items to which we ascribe human behaviour and human qualities. The motto of the thesis says: "I will not do the spring sowing next year. " The motto denotes the interaction of two conceptual schemata (the scheme of a cycle and the scheme of a journey) realizing the fact that the natural cycle corresponds in our mental representation with the phases of human life. The difference between the concepts is that man always reaches the terminal point of his journey unlike the nature constantly...
