<p> The following study is an attempt to design a minimum-time digital position controller. </p> <p> The. investigation of the theoretical problem of the minimum time position control leads to a survey of stepping motors, which seem to provide a natural solution to the problem. However the permanentic d.c. motor is shown to be more suitable. Approximate switching characteristics are derived from the mathematical models chosen. </p> <p> Quantizing the shaft position, a digital controller is practically implemented and the experimental results confirm the theory. </p> <p> To solve the trickiest problem of measuring the velocity of the shaft, a new concept of digital tachometer is derived and implemented. Providing a very high precision and resolution, the new tachometer proved itself much better than any other instrument available now, and its direct application to the controller simplifies the latter and improves it considerably. </p> / Thesis / Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

在1994年一年當中，台灣約有一千個新產品進入飲料市場，在日本則約九百個，香港則只有不到一百個。而在1990年時，台灣五個品牌可佔有50%的市場，至1993年則須九個品牌才能取得相同的市場佔有率。這些狀況顯示台灣飲料市場競爭之激烈，而消費者口味轉換之快速，使得產品之生命週期愈來愈短。而在此一多變及個性化的狀況下，掌握消費者在購買決策上所受到的影響進而針對目標市場進行必要的促銷活動，才能取得競爭優勢。 　　咖啡飲料係已進入成熟期的產品。由調查中顯示忠誠度頗高，平均續購買力達到50%，所以初期的掌握消費者購買因素，使之成為早期試用者，變成是決勝的關鍵。本研究之目的旨在尋找咖啡飲料的重度使用者，並了解其購買習性。 　　本研究結果顯示，25-35歲為主要消費群，且以在上班休息時間為主要飲用時間。對於咖啡之香濃所帶來的消費群，仍是業者可以多加以發掘的階層。 　　對於後續研究者，可以進一步調查消費者何以對咖啡之忠誠度較其他飲料為高的原因可以進一步找出其他飲料之行銷利基。

Syftet med denna uppsats är att, utifrån debattsartiklar i Dagens Nyheter under januari – juli 2009, undersöka vilken social position personer som, av tidningens ledarredaktion, benämns ”flyktingar”, ”invandrare” eller ”asylsökande” tilldelas av redaktionen i ett av samma redaktion beskrivet socialt rum. Undersökningen görs utifrån redaktionellt producerade debattartiklar innehållande orden integration, invandringspolitik, flyktingpolitik, integrationspolitik, invandrare, asyl, invandring, flykting, asylpolitik och med hjälp av Pierre Bourdieus teori om positioner och symboliska krig i det sociala rummet. Resultatet belyser att skribenterna ger flyktingar, invandrare och asylsökande en låg social position i det sociala rum som beskrivs i nutiden, men spridda sociala positioner i det sociala rum som beskrivs i framtiden; gruppen skall upplösas och positionerna spridas. Undantaget för denna framtidsvision är en grupp som av skribenterna beskrivs som ”terrorister”. Denna grupp ska förbli en grupp, postioneras lågt och/eller uteslutas på så många fält som möjligt. Flera tidigare undersökningar bekräftar att invandrare ges låga sociala positioner i media. Att detta inte gäller beskrivningar av framtiden återfinns inte på samma sätt i tidigare undersökningar. Detta, samt undantaget gällande ”terrorister” kan därför utgöra en intressant grund för kommande undersökningar.

With the rapid development of wireless networking technology and the great growth of the service demand, accurate location estimation of a mobile station (MS) in an indoor wireless system has gained considerable attention. Since most wireless communication systems used for indoor position location may suffer from dense NLOS propagation error, which leads to a severe degradation of position accuracy. In this thesis, we propose a hybrid TOA/RSSI wireless positioning technique for indoor UWB systems to gain favorable position accuracy, by using the fine resolution of UWB signals, geometrical feature of cell layout, the path loss model and the received signal strength, based on the time of arrival (TOA) range measurements. The algorithm induces the objective function from the geometrical relationships of the base stations (BSs) and TOA range circles, and utilizes the received signal strength and pre-estimated path loss model, which should be well approximating the propagation conditions, to discriminate between LOS or NLOS range measurements and define the weight factors used to describe how credible TOA range measurements are and take effect on the objective function during the location calculating process. Simulation results show that the positioning accuracy of the hybrid TOA/RSSI method is much higher than that of other positioning methods under different distributed NLOS errors.
