Orientador: Luiz Carlos Santana / Banca: Haydée Torres de Oliveira / Banca: Luiz Marcelo de Carvalho / Abstract: This dissertation is the result of a research of qualitative nature, in its study of case approach, that aimed to analyze the possible contributions to the political-pedagogic practices of environmental NGOs when incorporate elements of Environmental Law. It has as unity of analysis a program of mobilization and monitor work about the quality of Tiete River’s water, developed by an environmental NGO with the participation of several social actors. The analysis was accomplished since the collected datum in the interviews, in the remarks and documents. It was verified that the incorporation of the Environmental Law in the program in question materializes by different means and that necessarily do not exclude themselves. These means are moments that the environmental juridical field but this it makes present as environmental laws, but that as explanation of concepts and courses, but, still, as an instrument for the solution of social- -environmental conflicts. Regarding to the characteristics that the political-pedagogic practices of Environmental Education acquires when they incorporate elements of Environmental Law, it was verified that this issue is intrinsically related to the degree of interface of the environmental juridical field in the regarded practices. Thus, if the interface is tenuous and moderate, merely annexing information, the informative character prevails, however, if this interface structure wider than the others ones, being the Environmental Law utilized as instrument of fronting the social- -environmental conflicts, the politics dimension emerges, becoming itself the main characteristic of these practices, justifying them as political- -pedagogic practices. The result obtained with the research demonstrated that the incorporation of the Environmental Law by Environmental Education is as possible as necessary because it becomes a concrete perspective of aggregation with a greater consistency. / Mestre

Orientador: Suraya Cristina Darido / Banca: Helder Guerra de Resende / Banca: Irene Conceição Andrade Rangel / Resumo: Procuramos neste trabalho analisar como dois professores de Educação Física que atuam em Escolas Públicas do Ensino Fundamental, com mestrado na área e posicionamentos favoráveis às propostas renovadoras, tratam os conteúdos da dimensão conceitual nas suas aulas. Por meio de um estudo do tipo etnográfico, envolvendo a observação e análise das aulas dos professores, dos planos de ensino e de entrevistas com alunos e professores, procuramos investigar: a) os principais conteúdos da dimensão conceitual tratados, b) a organização dos conteúdos da dimensão conceitual, c) as estratégias de ensino. Entre os resultados, verificamos que os principais conteúdos da dimensão conceitual referiram-se ao entendimento dos significados, objetivos, princípios e possibilidades de conhecimentos relacionados à anatomia, nutrição, habilidades motoras, fisiologia, saúde, capacidades físicas, treinamento, aspectos históricos, sociais, econômicos, políticos, estéticos, culturais, regras, técnicas, táticas das práticas integrantes da cultura corporal (jogos, danças, lutas, ginásticas, esportes, brincadeira). Quanto à organização, verificamos que diferentes formas poderão conduzir ao alcance dos objetivos pretendidos, cabendo ao professor fazer opções de acordo com a realidade em que atua. Entretanto, pareceu que seja favorável iniciar por conteúdos mais próximo da realidade ou do interesse do aluno e que se procure estabelecer sincronia com temas de projetos da escola. O uso de desenhos, vídeo e pesquisas mostraram-se bastante eficientes. Consideramos que o tratamento da dimensão conceitual dos conteúdos traz importantes contribuições para a formação do aluno, portanto, precisa ser valorizado nas aulas de Educação Física / Abstract: Taking the position in favour of pedagogic practices in Physical Education, which intend to overcome limitations of the traditional teaching model for student's education, including among its objectives the instruction for democratic citizenship; considering that the application of the conceptual contents is one of the common aspects of these theories; we have decided to develop this research, analysing how two Physical Education teachers, who work at Elementary Schools, hold Master Degrees in the field and have favourable positions on new proposals, handle contents of the conceptual dimension in their classes. Through an ethnografic study, involving observation and analysis of the classes, the teaching plan and the interviews with students and other teachers, we tried to investigate what conceptual contects were used, why they were used and the ways of teaching these contents. The main handled conceptual contents refer to the undestanding of meanings, objectives, principles and possibilities of knowledge concerning motor skills, physiology, health, physical capabilities, training, historical, social, economic, politic, esthetic and cultural aspects, rules, techniques, tactics of the integrating practices of the corporal culture (games, dances, fights, gymnastics, sports) due to the belief that the application of this knowledge in a suitable way will allow students to enlarge their reflections, thus their capacity of criticism, which is a fundamental element for teaching citizenship. Na sua leitura destaca-se a figura dos interlocutores, cuja história e modo de vida estão inscritos nesse complexo suporte de texto. A qualidade dialógica do material pesquisado se estende à abordagem da própria pesquisa, tal como concebida por Bakhtin na área das Humanidades. Geradas e preservadas pelas práticas culturais disseminadas de escrita e leitura em nossa sociedade, as cartas pesquisadas, cento e setenta e nove no total, são focalizadas na perspectiva da História Cultural. De sua leitura, emerge ainda a possibilidade para reflexões acerca da escrita de si, isto é, da escrita epistolar como material autobiográfico. Questões da temporalidade também emergem da leitura do material e remetem a estudos de filósofos como Paul Ricoeur e Peter Pál Pelbart, entre outros. / Abstract: Personal letters, written in different times and places, compose the material object of this study. By reading them, stands out the figure of their interlocutors, whose history and way of life are registered in this complex support of text. The dialogical quality of the investigated material is spread out to the approach of the inquiry itself, such as conceived by Bakhtin, to researches in the area of the Humanities. Produced and preserved by the cultural disseminated practices of writing and reading, that take place in our society, the investigated letters, hundred and seventy nine in the total, are focused in the perspective of the Cultural History. By reading them, another possibility for reflections is brought up, which is, the reflexive writing, or, the epistolary writing as an autobiographical subject. Questions of temporality also emerge in the reading of such material, and lead us to studies of philosophers like Paul Ricoeur and Peter Pál Pelbart, among others. / Mestre

Orientador: Luiz Carlos Santana / Banca: Dalva Maria Bianchini Bonotto / Banca: Maria Guiomar Tomazello / Resumo: Considerando que a Educação Ambiental cada vez mais está integrando os ambientes educacionais, principalmente por meio da implantação de projetos, neste estudo procurou-se analisar as concepções e práticas de Educação Ambiental presentes nos projetos desenvolvidos pela ―Universidade Livre do Meio Ambiente Souza Queiroz‖ (UMASQ). Esta é uma instituição municipal que desenvolve projetos de Educação Ambiental para alunos da Educação Infantil, Ensino Fundamental e Ensino Médio e localiza-se no município de Leme/SP. Esses projetos são elaborados e desenvolvidos por professoras de Ciências, funcionárias efetivas da referida instituição. A coleta de dados desta pesquisa foi realizada por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas, da análise documental dos projetos e pela observação das práticas pedagógicas desenvolvidas. A análise foi feita através da técnica de análise de conteúdo e da triangulação. Estabeleceram-se alguns temas, categorias e subcategorias para se inferir concepções e práticas de Educação Ambiental. Definimos duas dimensões da Educação Ambiental: a ―dimensão epistemológica da Educação Ambiental‖ e a ―dimensão pedagógica da Educação Ambiental‖. Os resultados revelaram que as concepções de Educação Ambiental presentes na maioria dos conteúdos trabalhados tratam de conceitos, principalmente sobre aspectos físicos e biológicos, informações e descrições do ambiente, desconsiderando-se outras dimensões importantes no processo educativo ambiental: culturais, políticas, sociais, econômicas, éticas e estéticas. O viés econômico ligado à natureza também é enfatizado, como justificativa para o convencimento dos alunos a fim de evitar desperdício e degradação dos recursos naturais, predominando a visão de natureza entendida como recurso para o ser humano. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: Considering that the Environmental Education is more and more taking part in the educational area, specially by the implantation of projects, this study tried to analyze the conceptions and practices of Environmental Education present in the projects developed by ―Universidade Livre do Meio Ambiente Souza Queiroz‖(UMASQ). This is a municipally institution that develops Environmental Educational projects for kindergarten, elementary and high school students and is located in in Leme/SP. These projects are elaborated and developed by Science teachers that are effective workers of this institution. The data search of this research was accomplished by semi structured interviews, documental analyze of the projects elaborated by the teachers and by the observation of the pedagogical practices developed. The analysis was done with the content analyze technique and the triangulation. It was established some subjects, categories and subcategories to infer conceptions and practices of Environmental Education. We define two dimensions of Environmental Education: the ―epistemological dimension of the Environmental Education‖ and the ―pedagogical dimension of the Environmental Education‖. The results showed that the conception of Environmental Education present in the majority of the contents dealt in the projects are about concepts, specially about physical and biological aspects, information and environmental descriptions, that are transmitted to the students, not considering other important dimensions in the environmental educational process: cultural, political, social, economic, ethic and esthetical. The economic vies related to nature is also emphasized, as an excuse to the students convincement in order to avoid waste and degradation of natural resources, predominating the point of view of nature as a resource for human beings. Resumo: A literatura tem indicado que o ensino tem maior significado quando se parte de temas presentes na realidade do aluno. No entanto, um fato pode fazer parte do cotidiano e não se tornar ponto de partida para o ensino, mesmo sendo importante. Diante disso, esta pesquisa buscou investigar como quatro escolas públicas de uma região contaminada por chumbo trabalhavam esta temática. Nestas escolas encontravam-se matriculadas mais de 300 crianças com histórico de contaminação por este metal, e as demais, em condições de exposição, por morarem em uma área de risco no interior paulista. Considerou-se portanto que a temática fazia parte da realidade desta população. De modo geral, verificou-se que, temas factuais podem ser ponto de partida para o ensino, desde que o professor esteja capacitado para lidar com estratégias e conteúdos envolvidos. Do contrário, será necessário capacitá-lo. O tema da contaminação por chumbo, apesar da relevância, sem a capacitação docente, correria o risco de não ser abordado pela escola. O apoio dos órgãos governamentais, foi e será importante para promover condições para formação permanente de professores, partindo de suas necessidades. / Abstract: Literature has indicated that teaching has greater significance when it comes from the studentþs reality. However, a fact can be part of the daily life and not become a starting point for teaching, even being very important. Before this, this research tries to investigate how four public schools of a region contaminated by lead worked this subject. In these schools more than 300 children were registered with description of contamination by this metal, and the others in conditions of exposition to the metal for living in a risk area in São Paulo interior. It was considered, therefore, that the subject - contamination by lead - was part of this populationþs reality. The subject of contamination by lead, although relevant, without the teachersþ qualification, runs the risk of not being adopted by the school. Enquanto prática, para que a igualdade de acesso seja garantida, requer que o foco das ações seja deslocado da diferença individual para a adaptação do ambiente físico e social. A inclusão pode ser descrita enquanto um fenômeno social complexo, resultado de ações que são estabelecidas e mantidas por diferentes agências como governo, instituições formadoras de educadores, escolas, pessoas com necessidades educativas especiais, suas famílias e a mídia. Uma das ações que pode oferecer condições para que práticas inclusivas sejam apresentadas é o estabelecimento de leis. Leis, no âmbito deste trabalho, são compreendidas enquanto formulações verbais que descrevem comportamentos e que, para melhor compreensão e governo do comportamento dos indivíduos de um grupo deve especificar as ações a serem realizadas, sob quais circunstâncias e prever consequências para seu cumprimento ou não. In practice, so that the equality of access be guaranteed, requires that the focus of the actions be dislocated from the individual difference to the physical and social environment adjustment. The inclusion can be described as a complex social phenomenon, a result of actions established and kept for different agencies such as the government, formative educators institutions, schools, people with educative special necessities, their families and the media. O objeto da pesquisa foi a construção de um programa de formação continuada em serviço no campo psicomotor. Alguns dos insucessos iniciais da criança percebidos apenas nas séries iniciais do ensino fundamental podem se originar de dificuldades psicomotoras não identificadas na Educação Infantil, devido ao pouco domínio de conhecimento do professor nesse campo. O conhecimento dos principais elementos psicomotores (esquema corporal, coordenação motora, lateralidade, organização espacial e temporal) é fundamental para o professor identificar possíveis dificuldades psicomotoras, planejar as práticas e acompanhar a evolução da criança. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi desenvolver uma experiência de formação continuada em serviço que aliasse teoria e prática no campo psicomotor, com profissionais da Educação Infantil não possuidores de tal formação. Os participantes foram duas professoras que desenvolviam práticas educativas com crianças na idade 3 aos 5 anos. No estudo do desenvolvimento psicomotor optou-se pela perspectiva psicogenética e pelos estudiosos de acordo com essa abordagem e a evolução psicomotora, assim como a cognitiva ocorre em estágios interdependentes. / Abstract: This research is linked to the "Educational Practices and Formation of Teachers" research of the Master degree for the Education Program. It was acarried out in the Centro de Convivência Infantil Chalezinho da Alegria of FCT Unesp, Presidente Prudente, from July 2002 to October 2005. The research aim was the creation of a program of continuous formation in service for the psychomotor education. Some of the identified initial failures of children at school can be originated from psychomotor difficulties that had not been identified during preschool, due to the lack of knowledge teachers usually have on this field. The knowledge of the main psychomotor elements (body structure, global dynamic coordination, lateral conciousness, space and time organization) is basic for teachers to identify possible psychomotor difficulties, so that they can plan the practical strategies to help the children's development. Talamoni / Resumo: Um dos maiores desafios para a sociedade contemporânea, diz respeito aos caminhos que conduzem à evolução sustentável (ES), ou seja, ao processo evolutivo da biosfera, assim como, da sociedade humana. Para isso, é necessário a formação de profissionais com sólidas competências, consciência ética e moral, capazes de interagir com as demais áreas do conhecimento, agregando valores às dimensões econômica, sócio-cultural e ambiental, a fim de garantir a ES. Visando atender a esta demanda, institui-se no Brasil, na década de 1990, cursos de graduação em engenharia ambiental, com o objetivo de formar profissionais aptos à atuar em áreas específicas e complementares ao meio ambiente. Neste contexto, o estudo teve como objetivo descrever a (in)coerência entre consciência e ações ambientais sutentáveis dos alunos do curso de engenharia ambiental da Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) campus de Presidente Prudente. Foi realizada também a verificação e avaliação evolutiva da conscientização e das práticas ambientais corretas desses alunos, utilizando procedimentos técnicos da pesquisa survey. Constatou-se que já uma pequena evolução tanto da consciência, quanto das práticas ambientais sustentáveis ao longo do curso de engenharia ambiental. No entanto, verificou-se a existência de paradoxo entre a teoria e a prática relacionada ao meio ambiente no cotidiano destes alunos / Abstract: One of the greatest challenges to bem faceb by contemporary society is related to the paths that lead to a substainable evolution (SE), in other words, to the process of biosphere evolution, as well the human society evolution. To find thhis path, it is necessary professional training to develop solid competencies, ethical and moral consciusness, capacity to interact with other areas of knowledge, adding values to the economic, social-cultural and environmental dimensions, in order to guarantee the SE. In the 1990's, undergraduate courses in environmental enginerring were instituted in Brazil with the purpose to meet the demand, by forming professionals capable to act in environment's specific and complementary areas. Within this context, the study had as objective to describle the (in)coherence between the consciousness and the environmental actions of Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) campus of Presidente Prudente's students. It was also accomplished the verification and evolutionary evaluation of the understanding and of student's correct envivonmental practices, using technical procedures of the research called survey. It was verified that there is a small change in consciousness and in the sustainable environmental practices during the undersgraduate course in environmental engineering. Na indústria mecânica, os fluidos de corte aparecem como uns dos principais agentes poluidores nos processos de usinagem, o que requer cuidados especiais para o seu gerenciamento ambiental. Inicialmente as pesquisas para aperfeiçoamento de fluidos de corte e métodos de aplicação mais eficazes visavam satisfazer aspectos tecnológicos e econômicos. Entretanto, nos últimos anos, os pesquisadores e fabricantes estão concentrados no desenvolvimento de fluidos de corte ambientalmente amigáveis e de novas tecnologias objetivando a redução ou até mesmo a eliminação deste insumo, visando o atendimento de rigorosas leis ambientais, de saúde e de segurança no trabalho, assim como a adequação dos processos de usinagem a um sistema integrado de gestão da qualidade, da segurança ocupacional e do meio ambiente. O objetivo deste trabalho é identificar evidências e contribuir na busca de soluções viáveis para minimizar os impactos ambientais causados pela utilização e descarte dos fluidos de corte correlacionando-os às boas práticas ambientais e ao princípio dos 3Rs. Para a elaboração deste trabalho foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica com foco na identificação de estudos que evidenciam a preocupação ambiental do setor metal-mecânico na busca de oportunidades de adoção de boas práticas ambientais no gerenciamento deste importante insumo. Pode-se verificar que mesmo com o desenvolvimento de fluidos de corte ambientalmente menos agressivos e de métodos de aplicação em quantidades cada vez menores, ainda assim, este insumo básico requer gerenciamento com foco ambiental para a sua correta utilização. Cutting fluids are one of the main pollutants in the machining processes of the metalworking industry, thus requiring special care in their environmental management. Early researches aimed at improving cutting fluids and devising more effective application methods focused on enhancing technological and economic aspects. However, in recent years, the efforts of researchers and manufacturers have concentrated on the development of environmentally friendly cutting fluids and new technologies aimed at the reduction or even the elimination of cutting fluids in order to satisfy increasingly strict environmental, public health and work safety regulations, as well as to align machining processes to an integrated system of quality, occupational safety and environmental management. The objective of this work is to find examples and contribute toward the search for viable solutions to minimize the environmental impacts caused by the use and disposal of cutting fluids, correlating these solutions to good environmental practices and to the 3Rs principle. This work involved a comprehensive bibliographic review focusing on the identification of studies that show the environmental concern of the metalworking industry in the search for opportunities to adopt good environmental practices in the management of cutting fluids. It was found that, despite the development of less environmentally harmful cutting fluids and of methods for the application of increasingly small quantities, this basic product still requires environmentally-based management for its correct use. Entende-se que se faz necessário aprofundar a reflexão acerca da educação infantil, a visão do assistencialismo x ensino e demais discussões em voga no momento, para que, assim, se possa contribuir para o processo de consolidação da educação infantil como segmento educacional promotor do desenvolvimento humano em suas máximas potencialidades para todos os indivíduos, desde a infância. Logo, o estudo orientouse pela hipótese de que nas instituições de educação infantil o trabalho voltado ao atendimento de crianças de zero a três anos pauta-se, principalmente no cuidado, sendo este realizado pelas educadoras, contudo, sem a finalidade de propiciar o ensino. Pode-se dividir o desenvolvimento do trabalho em três etapas. A primeira constituiu-se da pesquisa de campo, na qual se realizou, inicialmente, o contato com a Secretaria de Educação de Araraquara/SP e com a rede privada de ensino de Araraquara/SP, posteriormente, foram escolhidas duas instituições a serem observadas, fizeram-se visitas nas mesmas e confeccionaram-se diários de campo. A segunda parte consistiu na leitura e análise desses diários. Por fim, na última etapa, realizou-se a leitura e análise da concepção de infância, educador e conhecimento presentes nos documentos oficiais do Ministério da Educação (Referencial Curricular nacional para a Educação Infantil; Política Nacional de Educação Infantil: pelo direito das crianças de zero a seis anos à educação e Parâmetros Nacionais de Qualidade para a Educação Infantil) e buscou-se a relação entre estas concepções... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The aim of this present research is to investigate if the educational actions are promoting the take care and the education, considering the indispensable connections among them for the promotion of under three year old children's psychological development, using the theoretical precepts of the Historical-Cultural Psychology. It is supposed that's necessary to deepen the reflection concerning the child education, the vision of the assistance x teaching and other discussions in vogue in the moment, so that it can contribute for the process of consolidation of the child education as a segment educational promoter of the human development in his/her highest potentialities for all the individuals since childhood. Therefore, the study was guided by the hypothesis that in the child education institutions the work turned to the zero children's service to three years is ruled, mainly in the care, being this work accomplished by the educators, without the purpose of propitiating the teaching. This present study can be divided in three stages. The first one consisted of the field research, in which it has taken place, initially, the contact with the General office of Education of Araraquara/SP and with the private institutions of education of Araraquara/SP.
