Perceptual sound field synthesis concept for music presentation

Ziemer, Tim 24 April 2020 (has links)
A perceptual sound field synthesis approach for music is presented. Its signal processing implements critical bands, the precedence effect and integration times of the auditory system by technical means, as well as the radiation characteristics of musical instruments. Furthermore, interaural coherence, masking and auditory scene analysis principles are considered. As a result, the conceptualized sound field synthesis system creates a natural, spatial sound impression for listeners in extended listening area, even with a low number of loudspeakers. A novel technique, the “precedence fade”, as well as the interaural cues provided by the sound field synthesis approach, allow for a precise and robust localization.Simulations and a listening test provide a proof of concept. The method is particularly robust for signals with impulsive attacks and long quasi-stationary phases, as in the case of many instrumental sounds. It is compatible with many loudspeaker setups, such as 5.1 to 22.2, ambisonics systems and loudspeaker arrays for wave front synthesis. The perceptual sound field synthesis approach is an alternative to physically centered wave field synthesis concepts and conventional, perceptually motivated stereophonic sound and benefits from both paradigms.

Löffler, Thomas 22 July 2004 (has links) (PDF)

Vliv systému HACCP na kvalitu masných výrobků / The influence of the HACCP system on the quality of meat products

KOCINOVÁ, Marie January 2014 (has links)
In this thesis, we performed a detailed analysis of the entire HACCP system in the enterprise Libor Novák - production of meat, sausages and specialties. The HACCP system in that enterprise was compared with the available literature and knowledge have been proposed some changes in the system of critical control points in a system of checks. They were designed diagrams of two new production of selected products (smoked meat, cooked production). Both productions were performed new hazard analysis and critical control newly set points and control points. For newly designed control points were established and possible changes of danger and the consequent monitoring and corrective action. Because of the HACCP system in the company for the last 10 years, well developed and stabilized, it was proposed to reduce the number of critical control points. The HACCP system is carried out in constant evolution and must constantly adapt and production workflows. Therefore, these new proposed changes can be valid only until until it changes anything in production technology.

To maximize the yield of maize are used different production technologies, including the use of high doses of nitrogen and management plant arrangement, which make the plants more susceptible to lodging. The growth regulators has been used in many crops in Brazilian agriculture aimed at the management of plant shoot and indirectly the lowest lodging. However, in maize there are few reports on the effects of these regulators, specifically the trinexapac-ethyl (TE), which are a growth regulator with its action in arrest of cell elongation. Given the above, the objective of this research was to evaluate the effect of TE sprayed at different concentrations and to in different phenological maize stages. The product were sprayed on maize plants conducted in the greenhouse and in the field conditions, both at the Santa Catarina State University in Centro de Ciências Agroveterinárias, located in Lages, in the 2013/2014 growing season. Was used three cultivars: SCS 154 Fortuna, P30F53HR and P30R50H. The experimental design and procedures are presented as chapter: I, II and III. The chapter I was developed in greenhouse, with treatments consisting of a control and sequential doses of TE applied from V2 to V7, plus a treatment with a single dose applied at stage V5. The chapter II, consisted of an experiment carried out in the field, and with TE sequential doses applied from V4 to V7 stages. The chapter III, describe the effects of increasing nitrogen rates in sidedress associated with the use of TE. The main results indicate that plant height is changed for all cultivars as a function of the dose of TE and phenological stage of maize plant. The split dose applied as a sequential manner is more effective than single application of TE, particularly in decreased plant height and ear insertion height of SCS 154 Fortuna and P30F53HR. The plant seven fully developed leaves stage (V7) treated with 800 g a.i. ha-1 of TE provided the more shortest the plant height. About the nitrogen sidedressing, there was no positive response on yield with the highest dose of N fertilizer. There is a direct relationship between plant height with reduced lodging, but severe reductions in height adversely affect the grain yield / O aumento da produção e produtividade no cultivo do milho nos últimos anos foi impulsionado pela demanda mundial em alimentos e pelos preços pagos ao agricultor. P30F53HR.

This fact has been recently reflected in a fair amount of legal regulations governing this industrial branch and almost hysterical campaigns of various food-providing chains that are trying persuade the public that only and just their products are free of any such additives. At the same time, however, and quite effortlessly can each of us get quite opposite information that would definitely harm the aura of safety created round the food additives. It is evident that a typical man takes mostly subjective attitude in this chaos of opposing information which is supported by different fabulations or "reliable information". The aim of this thesis is to clarify the issue of food additives and their use in meat-based products that form one part of unhealthy eating habits in our society. The acquired...
