La elección del tema de tesis se dio ya que en Taller V se desarrolló el proyecto en las Lomas de Lúcumo, Pachacamac, por lo cual fuimos al terreno en varias ocasiones. En una de estas visitas ayudamos con un proyecto de reforestación en la Loma con el árbol de Tara, tuvimos que subir hasta cierto punto, llevando agua y utensilios para poder sembrarla. Esta actividad me hizo sentir parte de este lugar, es por esto que desarrolle un apego al terreno. El proyecto que se desarrolló con el Taller fue el de Centro de Interpretación, lo cual me permitió entender la importancia de esta Loma y la riqueza que posee en paisajes, deportes, flora, fauna, entre otras. Y lo que significaría su reconocimiento en el desarrollo y cuidado de las Lomas de Lúcumo. Teniendo en cuenta el gran potencial turístico que posee esta Loma y la falta de equipamiento para que éste se pueda desarrollar potencialmente, es que se decidí desarrollar un Centro de Interpretación. Este proyecto busca integrase con la población local y el paisaje natural sin romper con el mismo. Por este motivo énfasis con el que se diseñará será la relación con el entorno natural, la cual consiste en entender la importancia del lugar en el que se encuentra y trabajar una arquitectura con el menor impacto posible.Con esto se planea solucionar el problema de falta de equipamiento turístico en la zona en general (distrito de Pachacamac) y desarrollar una especie de hito que identifique al distrito de Pachacamac como localidad turística especializado en el turismo alternativo. Haciendo que la población se sienta identificada con esta Loma y así puedan protegerla mejor. / The choice of the thesis topic occurred during my Workshop V at the University, the activity took place in the Lomas de Lúcumo, in Pachacamac district, near Lima. I had the opportunity to visit this place in several occasions, one of them consisted in a reforestation project in highest part of the hill, and we seed trees of Tara. It was not an easy job, we had to go up to a certain point, carrying water in recycled and some gardening tools. This activity made me feel a special connection with this beautiful place; I developed an attachment. The case study in the mentioned Workshop was “Interpretation Centers”, this allowed me to understand the importance of this projects in order to appreciate the hills and how valuable are them for local tourism, sports, flora, and fauna. Also its importance for the local development and care of Lomas de Lúcumo. Considering the great tourist potential of the Lomas de Lucumo, and the growing tourist activity, I decided to develop an Interpretation Center. This project seeks to integrate with the local culture and the natural landscape without breaking with it. For this reason, emphasis will be placed on the relationship of the project with the natural environment, understanding its importance and working on an architecture proposal with less impact. The goal is propose an alternative solution to the necessity tourist and scientific information in the area in general and develop a kind of milestone that identifies the District of Pachacamac as a tourist resort specializing in alternative tourism. Making the population feel identified with this natural resource and committed them to its protection. / Tesis

El proyecto consiste en el diseño, por un lado, de una Clínica Veterinaria de Animales Menores de jerarquía interdistrital que se complementa con un Albergue de Animales (perros y gatos). El objetivo de este último es poder brindar a los animales rescatados un espacio adecuado a sus necesidades durante el tiempo que pasen en este refugio. Asimismo, la Clínica atiende tanto a usuarios externos como a los usuarios del Albergue. Por otro lado, se tiene una zona de capacitación y difusión dirigida a veterinarios, estudiantes de veterinaria y personas interesadas en temas relacionados al cuidado y tenencia responsable de mascotas. El terreno del proyecto se ubica en el distrito de Santiago de Surco. Para esta elección se tuvo en consideración los siguientes requerimientos: Zona céntrica para los demás albergues existentes; lugar en el que las personas del entorno puedan permitirse pagar tratamientos a sus mascotas y cercanía al “Colegio Médico Veterinario del Perú”. En cuanto al diseño arquitectónico, se optó por separarlo en dos volumetrías, esto debido a que se quiere evitar que los usuarios de las dos grandes áreas de este proyecto se mezclen. Adicionalmente, se busca controlar el ruido hecho por los animales, sin que afecte a las personas que se encuentran en la zona de capacitación. Por último, estos volúmenes están ubicados y diseñados de modo que se genera una relación visual entre ambos. / The project consists of the design, on the one hand, of a Veterinary Clinic of Minor Animals of interdistrict hierarchy that is complemented by an Animal Shelter (dogs and cats). The objective of the latter is to be able to provide the rescued animals with an adequate space for their needs during the time they spend in this refuge. Also, the Clinic serves both external users and users of the Shelter. On the other hand, there is a training and dissemination area for veterinarians, veterinary students and people interested in issues related to the care and responsible tenure of pets. The project land is located in the district of Santiago de Surco. For this election, the following requirements were taken into consideration: Central area for other existing hostels, place where the people of the environment can afford to pay treatments to their pets and Closeness to the "Colegio Médico Veterinario del Perú". For the architectural design, we chose to separate it into two volumes, this is because we want to avoid that the users of the two large areas of this project mix. Additionally, it seeks to control the noise made by the animals, without affecting the people who are in the training area. La escuela profesional de danza como tal está empezando a consolidarse cada vez más en el Perú. Ésta deja de ser un lugar donde solamente se enseña las diferentes danzas y la técnica para ejecutarlas, sino también se convierte en un lugar más completo donde el usuario se forma como un bailarín que llegue a interactuar, aprender, conocer, transmitir información e identificarse. De esta manera, se tomó en cuenta que el programa funcional tendría que ser más completo y amplio que los que existen en la actualidad. Por ello, la Escuela Profesional de danzas folclóricas tiene como objetivo fomentar la interacción del bailarín y del público mediante la conexión y diseño de sus espacios abasteciendo las necesidades del usuario, tomando en cuenta la conexión entre el proyecto y el entorno inmediato. El punto de partida del proyecto comienza por medio del análisis del terreno en cuanto a la accesibilidad, topografía, contexto urbano, zonificación y aspectos ambientales importantes. Asimismo, se tuvo en cuenta la edificación cultural vecina donde nace la idea de unificarla con el proyecto por medio de una plaza para no perder contacto con el público y organizar los paquetes funcionales alrededor de esta y de un núcleo interior con la finalidad de que el usuario este interactuando constantemente. Por otro lado, la organización del programa se da con un criterio de transición muy marcado desde lo paquetes públicos a los privados para que exista un control de los espacios sin romper con el objetivo principal. La escuela Profesional de danzas folclóricas finalmente se resume como un remate cultural de la zona que trasmite, culturiza y fomenta la cultura peruana. / The professional dance school as such is beginning to consolidate more and more in Peru. This ceases to be a place where only the different dances are taught and the technique to execute them, but it also becomes a more complete place where the user is trained as a dancer who comes to interact, learn, know, transmit information and identify. In this way,it was taken into account that the functional program would have to be more complete and comprehensive than those that currently exist. Therefore, the Professional School of folk dances aims to encourage the interaction of the dancer and the public by connectingand designing their spaces to meet the needs of the user, taking into account the connection between the project and the immediate environment. The starting point of the project begins with the analysis of the terrain in terms of accessibility, topography, urban context, zoning and important environmental aspects. Likewise, the neighboring cultural building was taken into account, where the idea of unifying it with the project was born by means of a square so as not to lose contact with the public and organize the functional packages around it and an inner core in order that the user is constantly interacting. On the other hand, the organization of the program is based on a very marked transition from the public to the private so that there is control of the spaces without breaking with the main objective. The Professional School of folk dances is finally summarized as a cultural auction of the area that transmits, educates and promotes Peruvian culture. / Tesis

La presente investigación propone, con su planteamiento crítico, una tipología arquitectónica con énfasis en la luz natural para un centro de terapia no convencional en el distrito de Pachacámac, Lima-Perú. En esa línea, se procura mostrar cómo por medio del diseño arquitectónico y el trabajo con la luz natural se podría llegar a complementar, enriquecer y potenciar, con un enfoque preventivo, las experiencias de los pacientes que llevan a cabo tratamientos médicos orientados desde las terapias tradicionales, de enfoque reactivo. La tesis consta de seis capítulos. El primero introduce los presupuestos básicos para comprender la problemática que sirve de base a nuestros objetivos, así como los alcances y las limitaciones de la presente investigación. El segundo capítulo desarrolla el marco teórico-referencial y abunda sobre las diferencias entre la medicina tradicional, centrada en la enfermedad, y la medicina integral, centrada en la persona, aproximándose críticamente a sus ventajas y desventajas mediante el empleo de términos no arquitectónicos. El capítulo tercero describe el marco conceptual arquitectónico teniendo a la vista algunos proyectos referenciales. En los capítulos cuarto y quinto se trata sobre las características del lugar y el perfil del usuario: ambos capítulos aportan elementos críticos para elaborar, en el capítulo sexto, el programa arquitectónico. En suma, se plantea un Centro Médico de Terapia Integral ubicado en Pachacámac, que cuente con todos los beneficios de diseño tipológico analizado y descrito y que, por consiguiente, incorpore como elemento fundamental, ineludible, el aspecto emocional-sensitivo de la persona humana en la implementación del tratamiento clínico. / This research proposes, with its critical approach, an architectural typology with an emphasis on natural light for an unconventional therapy center in the district of Pachacámac, Lima-Peru. In this line, we try to show how, through architectural design and work with natural light, we could complement, enrich and enhance, with a preventive approach, the experiences of patients who carry out medical treatments guided by traditional therapies, with a reactive approach. In this line, this thesis consists of six chapters. The first introduces the basic assumptions to understand the problem that serves as the basis for our objectives, as well as the scope and limitations of this research. The second chapter develops the theoretical-referential framework and abounds on the differences between traditional medicine, focused on the disease, and holistic medicine, focused on the person, critically approaching its advantages and disadvantages through the use of non-architectural terms. The third chapter describes the architectural conceptual framework with some referential projects in view. The fourth and fifth chapters deal with the characteristics of the place and the profile of the user: both chapters provide critical elements to elaborate, in the sixth chapter, the architectural program with seven functional modules for a total area constructed of 5,536 m2. In short, a Medical Center of Integral Therapy is located in Pachacámac, which has all the benefits of typological design analyzed and described and, therefore, incorporates as a fundamental element, inescapable, the emotional-sensitive aspect of the human person in the implementation of clinical treatment. / Tesis

El presente informe abarca la fase de investigación para el proyecto de tesis denominado “Centro Astronómico de Nasca” que se ubica en el desierto costero de Nasca, en el departamento de Ica, al sur del Perú. La investigación se ha enfocado en el análisis del entorno, que comprende tanto las condiciones meteorológicas como factores culturales y patrimoniales con el objetivo principal de poner en valor una zona de gran riqueza paisajística y potencial turístico, que en la actualidad se ve afectada por la diversos factores externos. El énfasis arquitectónico del proyecto se basa en la reinterpretación de la arquitectura y simbología presente en los vestigios de la cultura Nasca y busca recuperar la noción de la forma arquitectónica como una herramienta de interacción directa con el espacio. / This report covers the research phase for the thesis project called "Astronomical Center of Nasca" located in Nasca’s coastal desert which lies on the department of Ica, in southern Peru. The research has focused on the analysis of the environment, which includes both meteorological conditions and cultural and heritage factors with the main objective of enhancing the value of an area of great scenic richness and tourist potential, which is currently affected by the various external factors. The architectural emphasis of the project is based on the reinterpretation of the architecture and symbols present in the vestiges of the Nasca culture and seeks to recover the notion of architectural form as a tool for direct interaction with space. / Tesis

En la actualidad, el sector de la construcción es indispensable para impulsar el desarrollo socio económico, pero a su vez es el principal responsable del incremento de la contaminación debido al uso inadecuado de los recursos naturales. Sin embargo, existe la posibilidad de mejorar esta problemática, implementando edificaciones sostenibles mediante criterios de sostenibilidad en la construcción. Actualmente, en el mundo existen diversas instituciones que brindan certificaciones internacionales que son una de las mejores herramientas para garantizar la sostenibilidad de los proyectos. En el Perú, existen tres certificaciones que acreditan que una edificación es sostenible, estas son las certificaciones LEED, EDGE y BREEAM. Este proyecto de tesis consiste en proponer criterios de sostenibilidad a nivel de certificación EDGE, enfocado en el uso racional de los materiales, consumo eficiente de energía y agua. Estos criterios se aplicaron a una edificación tradicional (Caso: Edificio multifamiliar sostenible – Santa Anita) a nivel de proyecto, para mostrar los beneficios ambientales y económicos durante su vida útil (etapa de construcción, operación y mantenimiento). Se logró obtener un ahorro de 35.96% de ahorro en energía y un 31.92% de ahorro en agua. Los usuarios de una edificación sostenible tendrán ahorros económicos que se mostrarán en sus recibos de agua y luz mensualmente. Asimismo, se plantean incorporar materiales que consumen menor energía en su fabricación. Se obtuvo que el ahorro de dióxido de carbono (CO2) durante el año de uso es de 1.47 t por la vivienda multifamiliar. Proyectando su aplicación a la inmensa cantidad de viviendas necesarias en la ciudad, tendremos un ahorro significativo en la contaminación ambiental. / Currently, the construction sector is essential to boost socio-economic development, but in turn is the main responsible for the increase in pollution due to the inadequate use of natural resources. However, there is the possibility of improving this problem by implementing sustainable buildings through criteria of sustainability in construction. Currently, in the world there are several institutions that provide international certifications that are one of the best tools to ensure the sustainability of projects. In Peru, there are three certifications that certify that a building is sustainable, these are the LEED, EDGE and BREEAM certifications. This thesis project consists of proposing sustainability criteria at the EDGE certification level, focused on the rational use of materials, efficient consumption of energy and water. These criteria were applied to a traditional building (Case: Sustainable multifamily building - Santa Anita) at the project level, to show the environmental and economic benefits during its useful life (construction, operation and maintenance stage). It was possible to obtain savings of 35.96% of energy savings and 31.92% savings in water. The users of a sustainable building will have economic savings that will be shown on their water and electricity bills monthly. Also, consider incorporating materials that consume less energy in their manufacture. It was obtained that the CO2 savings during the year of use is 1.47 t for the multi-family dwelling. Se presenta una propuesta de un Centro Deportivo Recreacional de carácter público que tiene como principales usuario los niños y jóvenes en formación educativa en la urbanización de Manchay. La idea principal es incluir los deportes en la parte formativa del estudiante con la finalidad de mejorar no sólo físicamente sino social e intelectualmente. A su vez, se busca incluir deportes populares y no tan populares que requieren de mayor infraestructura deportiva. Por otro lado, uno de los principales conceptos de diseño utilizados en el proyecto es la eco/sostenibilidad, se plantea una arquitectura amigable con el medio ambiente, con el fin de cuidar el ecosistema y educar al usuario. Además, se considera espacios flexibles donde se pueden generar distintas actividades en una misma área. Por tal motivo, se ha desarrollado un marco teórico, conceptual y el estudio de proyectos referenciales de la tipología, conceptos y énfasis. Asimismo, se ha analizado la situación actual deportiva a nivel internacional, nacional y del departamento de Lima y las características del distrito y el terreno donde se encuentra ubicado el proyecto para poder determinar los criterios de diseño a utilizar. Adicionalmente, se evalúa al usuario del proyecto, para poder considerar sus necesidades y las actividades que cotidianamente realizan para definir el programa y las áreas del proyecto. Finalmente, con el diseño del proyecto se busca reforzar una serie de variables psicológicos que son aspectos claves que se desarrollan en la vida cotidiana e importante para el desarrollo. A través de la educación física, los niños expresan su espontaneidad, fomenta su creatividad y le permite conocer, respetar, valorarse a sí mismo y a los demás. Además, se busca fortalecer los lazos sociales del distrito, generar un polo deportivo en la zona y que permita incentivar el futuro posicionamiento de otros equipamientos deportivos. / A proposal of a Recreational Sports Center of a public nature is presented that has as main user children and young people in educational training in the urbanization of Manchay. The main idea is to include sports in the formative part of the student in order to improve not only physically but socially and intellectually. In turn, it seeks to include popular sports and not so popular that require more sports infrastructure. On the other hand, one of the main design concepts used in the project is the eco / sustainability, an environmentally friendly architecture is proposed, in order to take care of the ecosystem and educate the user. In addition, flexible spaces are considered where different activities can be generated in the same area. For this reason, a theoretical, conceptual framework and the study of referential projects of typology, concepts and emphasis have been developed. Likewise, the current sporting situation at the international, national and departmental levels of Lima and the characteristics of the district and the land where the project is located were analyzed in order to determine the design criteria to be used. Additionally, the project user is evaluated, in order to be able to consider their needs and the activities they carry out on a daily basis to define the program and the project areas. Finally, the design of the project seeks to reinforce a series of psychological variables that are key aspects that are developed in daily life and important for development. Se presenta una propuesta de un Colegio inclusivo que tiene como principales usuarios a alumnos regulares y alumnos con necesidades educativas especiales (NEE). La idea principal es promover la educación inclusiva en el país a través de una arquitectura que responde a necesidades reales. De esta manera, el proyecto se convertirá en un referente. A su vez, se busca integrar a la comunidad a través de espacios compartidos. Donde no sólo los alumnos forman parte de ella, sino que se otorgan estos espacios a los vecinos de Manchay. Por otro lado, el énfasis del proyecto es el espacio de interacción social como potenciador de un desarrollo integral. Esto quiere decir que todos los ambientes están pensados para priorizar el confort del alumno, teniendo así, espacios flexibles que se adaptan a diferentes actividades. Por tal motivo, se ha desarrollado un marco teórico, conceptual y el estudio de proyectos referenciales de la tipología, conceptos y énfasis. Tal es así que se ha analizado la situación educativa actual y las características del distrito y del terreno donde se encuentra ubicado el proyecto para poder determinar los criterios de diseño a utilizar También, se evalúa al usuario del proyecto para poder considerar sus necesidades y las actividades que realizan diariamente y de esta manera, poder definir el programa y las áreas del proyecto. Finalmente, con el diseño del proyecto se buscan reforzar varios factores determinantes en el aspecto educacional donde los alumnos puedan desarrollarse de forma óptima. Esto será fundamental para el futuro de la sociedad. A proposal of an inclusive School is presented that has as main users regular students and students with special educational needs (SEN). The main idea is to promote inclusive education in the country through an architecture that responds to real needs. In this way, the project will become a reference. At the same time, it seeks to integrate the community through shared spaces. Where not only the students are part of it, but these spaces are granted to the residents of Manchay. Furthermore, the emphasis of the project is the space of social interaction as an enhancer of an integral development. Esta tesis busca dar lugar a una tipología ausente en la ciudad. El Museo dedicado al Arte Contemporáneo es una de las tipologías que más ha evolucionado y que abarca una diversidad de roles que no solo involucran el arte como tal, sino también a la comunidad. En cuanto a la comunidad, un museo puede reforzar un circuito cultural, formar parte de una regeneración urbana, consolidar un vacío físico en el espacio urbano, puede dinamizar las actividades de la comunidad, y calar en el sentido de pertenencia de los usuarios. Sobre el arte, este museo puede hacer frente a los cuestionamientos que desencadenó el arte moderno, desde donde surgen una multiplicidad de respuestas que exigen nuevos espacios que puedan difundir las manifestaciones artísticas que cuestionan los límites del arte. En suma, más allá del coleccionismo, el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo es una institución cultural, pública, de carácter social, con una oferta a la sociedad cultural, y que participa activamente en el desarrollo cultural de la ciudad. / This thesis purpose is to give a place to a typology that is absent in the city. The Museum dedicated to Contemporary Arts is one of the typologies that has evolved more and that encompass a diversity of roles that not only involve the arts as such, but also the community. About the community, a museum can reinforce a cultural circuit, be part of an urban regeneration, consolidate a physical void in the urban space, dynamize the activities of the community, and sink in the sense of belonging of users. On the arts, this museum can face the questions that were unleashed by the modern art, a fact that raised a vast diversity of answers that demanded new spaces that could broadcast the artistic manifestations that question the limits of the arts. El proyecto es una Institución Educativa Inicial - Primaria en el distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho que plantea las actuales necesidades de los estudiantes y las nuevas formas de aprender que desdibujan los límites de las aulas, otorgando a los espacios intermedios como potenciadores de múltiples respuestas basados en la ambigüedad de su uso. Asimismo, la escuela se relaciona con el barrio a través de una mezcla de funciones de colegio y comunidad donde programas específicos como la biblioteca y sala de usos múltiples se abren a la comunidad después del horario de clases. El concepto barrio-escuela-barrio genera una relación directa entre la comunidad y la escuela donde los estudiantes se apropian totalmente de los espacios creados para ellos y existe un continuo aprendizaje. Se ha comprobado que este concepto ha generado un notable crecimiento académico en los estudiantes, además de disminuir la deserción escolar y la erradicación de fenómenos de pandillaje e inseguridad. / The project is an Kindergarten and Elementary School in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho that raises the current needs of students and new ways of learning that will go farther than the boundaries of classrooms, granting intermediate spaces as enhancers of multiple answers based in the ambiguity of its use. Likewise, the school is connected to the neighborhood by a mix of functions with the community where specific programs such as the library and the multipurpose rooms will be opened to them after school hours. The neighborhood-school-neighborhood concept generates a direct relationship between the community and the school where the students take full ownership of the spaces created for them, with a continuous learning. It has been proven that this concept generate a remarkable academic growth in students, in addition to reducing school drop-outs and the eradication of gang and insecurity phenomena. / Tesis
