This thesis will deal with analysis of the political regime in Russia. Its main aim becomes the attempt to show if there are differences between what is given by the Constitution, and the real functioning in the country. For starters, describe the institutional development of Russia after 1989. The reader can see how changing the distribution of power and appearring the party pluralism. Further attention will be paid to the issue of the Constitution itself, and do what the amendment brought about: the introduction of a bicameral parliament, Head of State etc. Following an examination of the constitutional rules in terms of the powers of the President, we will conclude whether the Russian Federation is actually a semi- presidential system or not. Additional space will involve the existence of parliamentarism in the country. Briefly dismantled election procedures: both parliamentary and presidential. According to available information on the electoral system and the results of the elections, we will understand why the Russian party system looks the way it looks. The thesis deals with the Russian non-profit sector and the state restrictive policy directed towards it. Using a multi-case study, thesis examines the impact of the Foreign Agents Act on Civil Society organizations. At the introduction are identified two questions that thesis is dealing with. The first question was, what practical impacts the Foreign Agents Act had on non-profit organizations. For their identification was developed a typology, which included five types of consequences: bureaucratic burden, financial difficulties, public relations deterioration, access to public institutions and general pressure. This typology was applied to three case studies of non-profit organizations. The thesis concludes that these types are valid except for the deterioration of the relationship with the public sphere, which has not been proven. The second question was how this Law fits into the context of state strategies towards civil society between 2012 and 2017. The thesis comes with the assertion that this Act was the key legislation followed by subsequent Laws, that leads to division of the civil sector to several groups.

This diploma thesis deals with the process of the formation of the Latvian Citizenship Law in the context of European integration. The main aim of the thesis is to analyze the influence of European organization (primarily the Council of Europe, the European Union and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) on the law creation and the approval of its amendments. The aim of the study is also to analyze how the representatives of the Russian Federation influenced the process of law creation and its changes. Latvia was annexed by the Soviet Union in 1940, it remained its part until 1991. During the Soviet period, many Russian-speaking people moved to the territory of Latvia. Latvian citizenship law from 1994 was highly restrictive, it was based on the principle of legal continuity between interwar Latvia and restored Latvia after 1991. Therefore, the law only restored citizenship, which meant that only people who had been citizens before 1940 were granted automatic citizenship. Many inhabitants of restored Latvia, especially Russian speaking inhabitants, remained without citizenship. The aim of this thesis was to examine the extent to which the European Union can be considered a normative power in relation to the Russian Federation. The European Union has evolved into one of the most important global actors in the international arena and this development has, consequently, sparked series of debates trying to define the role of its actorness in relation to third parties. On one hand, scholars have emphasized the normative and value-driven features of the European Union as a whole, especially in the area of foreign policy cooperation where there exists enhanced emphasis on the importance of values and norms in comparison to other traditional actors in international relations. On the other hand, structural realists provided alternative interest-driven vision under which the member states are expected to follow common approach of the European Union only in cases that do not conflict with their national interests that are claimed to always prevail. This diploma thesis analyses the phenomenon of the Russian information warfare targeting the Baltic states - Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. In five chapters the thesis initially theoretically examines phenomenon of the information warfare itself, specifically its typical components and advantages because of which the Russian Federation uses it. After that, the thesis estimates conceptual preconditions and incentives in the Baltic region due to which Russia implements the information warfare specifically in this region. The information warfare in this sense is understood as the psychological pressure onto the society of Baltics, hence, as one of the tools to enforce the interests and goals of the Kremlin's official foreign policy, because the initiators of such information campaigns are the Russian state media or their proxies. Third, in the empirical part, based the conceptually determined factors and particular events related to them, thesis thoroughly deals with discourses and narratives spread through the Russian and pro-Russian media operating in the Baltic states. The master thesis called Security of the Russian Federation: (de)securitization of the U.S. by Russian representatives deals with the security of Russia from the top representatives points of view. The analyzed time is determined by the presidential term of Dmitry Medvedev (2008 - April 2012). The aim of the thesis is to find out, why the U.S. was (de)securitized during the Medvedev's presidential term and confirm or disprove the predefined hypothesis. President, prime minister and minister of foreign affairs create the foreign politics of Russian federation. Their speeches and interviews are the main source of the data. The basic security terms and the theories (de)securitization are discussed in the first part of the thesis. The Russian point of view of security is defined in the following part. There are analyzed oficial documents focusing on definition of the national security, foreign policy and military field. There are also discussed the Russian media discourse since 90s of the 20 century and Russian- American relations. The last empirical part analyzes the interviews and speeches of the president Medvedev, of the prime minister Putin and of the minister of foreign affairs Lavrov in terms of their attitudes to the U.S.

The subject of the research is a set of criteria and indicators that characterize the financial stability of the credit institution. The main purpose of the research is the development of measures for improving the financial stability of the credit institution, based on the analysis of its financial condition, to identify the problems and to propose the ways of solvation. В результате магистерского исследования решены ряд задач: изучена теории мировой экономики, а также проведен анализ макроэкономических показателей, разработанная и произведена программная реализована методики динамических моделей: проведено тестирование программного продукта, и построение сетевых моделей. / Understanding the impact of macroeconomic indicators on the state’s economy is relevant to government institutions, such as the central bank. The purpose of this dissertation is to develop a dynamic modeling methodology for studying the interactions of macroeconomic indicators, as well as for creating tools for implementing monetary policy. The object of this study are macroeconomic processes. The subject of the research is the macroeconomic model of the Russian Federation and its main regulators. As a result of the master's research, a number of problems were solved: the theory of the world economy was studied, and macroeconomic indicators were analyzed, a dynamic model methodology was developed and software implemented: a software product was tested, and network models were built.

In addition, in the modern economy, financial analysis is becoming increasingly important in making strategic management decisions, identifying problem areas. The owners (founders, shareholders) of the organization themselves, and supervisory authorities, and business partners, creditors, and investors are interested in reliable results of financial analysis. Improvement of the modern methodology for assessing the financial condition of credit institutions, updating and adapting assessment systems to Russian reality, the practical significance of scientific research in this area indicate the relevance of the chosen topic of work and the issues discussed in it.
