The thesis is written about the possibilities of leisure-time activities at work with cross-sectional themes at the first stage of a primary school. The thesis is aimed to capture the experience of teachers in integrating cross-sectional themes and making up a five-day program. Teoretical part is defined basic terms of the general educational program and cross-sectional themes and are characterized by leisure-time activities. Outlines the procedures how cross-sectional themes are adapated into the school educational programs. Joining between cross-sectional themes and leisure-time activities, pointing out possibilities of leasure-time activities offering goals for fulfilling the content cross-sectional themes issues in education. The practical part is find out the situation of the integration of cross-sectional themes helped by questionnaire methods at primary schools. The focus of this thesis is to prepare a five-day program of leisure activities with a focus on multicultural education.

Alternativ för kreosotimpregnerade stolpar för Skellefteå Kraft AB : Med energiteknisk kalkyl för utsläpp vid impregnering och transport av kreosotstolpar

Kreosot är ett träskyddsmedel som förstärker träet mot röta och levande organismer vid impregnering. Problemet är att ämnet kreosot klassas som hälsofarligt och påverkar miljön i flera aspekter. Kemikalieinspektionen har beslutat om en förlängd användning av ämnet fram till år 2018. Därefter riskerar bekämpningsmedlet en gradvis utfasning i hela landet. En stor del av elkraftstolparna som Skellefteå Kraft AB använder i deras elnät är kreosotimpregnerade stolpar. Vid utfasning av ämnet kommer företaget att behöva ha en ny strategi angående elkraftstolpar. Med hjälp av undersökningar och analyser ska denna rapport beskriva en lämplig strategi för Skellefteå Kraft AB att använda sig av när kreosot förbjuds. På grund av de goda egenskaperna hos materialet trä och dess låga belastning på miljön avgränsas rapporten för just undersökning av metoder och medel som endast involverar materialet trä, bland annat furu på grund av dess goda förmåga vid inträngning av träskyddsmedlet. Rapporten undersöker först miljöpåverkan för kreosotstolpar genom studier av så kallade livscykelanalyser (LCA). En sådan undersökning inkluderar alla utsläpp som uppstår under en kreosotstolpes livslängd och dess påverkan på naturen och människan. Här utfördes en energiteknisk beräkning av det totala utsläppet för två olika exempel, en kortare (150 mil) och en längre (500 mil). Resultatet av denna analys visar att energiåtgången var bara ca 1/3 högre för den längre transporten. Det största utsläppet var växthusgasen koldioxid vilket skedde i betydligt större omfattning för den längre transportsträckan. Rapporten fortsätter att undersöka vilka impregneringsmetoder som används i Sverige och vilka medel som används. Detta görs för att analysera vilken av dessa metoder som kan vara en lämplig ersättning för kreosotimpregnering. En samlad bedömning av resultat och data från denna undersökning visade att Skellefteå Kraft AB kan fortsatt använda sig utav kopparsaltimpregnerade stolpar (Wolmanit CX-8 eller Wolmanit CX-8N) ifall kreosot fasas ut. Dessutom föreslås tryckimpregneringsmetoderna (fullcell eller Lowry metoden) behållas. Skellefteå Kraft AB har redan ett inköpsavtal med Rundvirke Poles AB angående beställning av nya stolpar. Rundvirke Poles AB tillverkar kopparsaltstolpar i alla dimensioner och storlekar och för Skellefteå Krafts del kan det tills vidare vara lämpligt att inköpsavtalet fortsätter gälla. Företag som Skellefteå Kraft bör dock vara öppna för nya och bättre medel och träskyddsmetoder som kan ge bättre prestanda och en mer fördelaktig livscykel. Ett sådant kan vara RVP Repellent som Poles AB utvecklar men här bör fördjupade tester, livscykelanalyser och kontroller utföras på träskyddsmedlet och produkten.

Výuka volejbalu na základních a středních školách / Teaching volleyball in elementary and secondary schools

This Diploma thesis deals with Teaching of volleyball at elementary schools and high schools. The main areas of interest are the way how volleyball is incorporated in lessons, differences and similarities in practicing in-game situations, students' knowledge of fundamental volleyball rules, the quality of school equipment for the game of volleyball, and the level of success for the realization of the proposed teaching model. By comparing volleyball teaching in the two levels of schooling, I conclude in the thesis that the game of volleyball is incorporated into PE in a similar fashion in both of them. Also, I found out that preparation activities are 20% more common at elementary schools. In addition, I found out that in-game situations training is similar in both levels and that schools are qualitatively equipped for the game of volleyball more or less on the same level. Last but not least, I found out that the overall knowledge of rules by students is very limited. To conclude, by applying the proposed teaching model there was seen an improvement in all the tested areas. This thesis might provide inspiration for the current and future PE teachers. The diploma thesis focuses on the Learning Stories method and its implementation in a Czech pre-school. Its aim is to explore, document, and analyse how the Learning Stories method is applied into a Czech pre-school as a part of the process of formative assessment. The theoretical part defines assessment in the pre-primary education - its content, and characteristics. Selected assessment tools used in a Czech pre-primary education are introduced. The theoretical part then focuses on the definition of the formative assessment in both Czech and foreign literature, and on the analysis of the Czech Statutory Pre-primary Educational Framework in the relation to the formative assessment. It also describes theoretical background of the Learning Stories method and its use within the international pre-primary education. The empirical part presents the aims of the research project - its methodology and results. Research data were acquired from a content analysis of learning stories and from semi- structured interviews with teachers who have been working with the LS method. Semi- structured interviews focused on how the teachers implemented the LS method in their schools. This thesis is focused on an interconnection of two disciplines within the frame of art lessons given at primary school. It investigates a musical and creative context (contemporary and historical) and its interaction and influence on each other. It concentrates on changes of musical and art comprehension from a time point of view, when old opinions and perceptions penetrate from the past to the present. The scope of this thesis is based on an extensive study of classical theories data and analyses of the qualitative research. Through all the document references and research data are mentioned to underline mutual relations and coherency between individual theoretical texts. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with theoretical research and possible interconnection of musical and art disciplines and it also deals with presentation of functions and changes of these disciplines. Křesťanské kořeny moderní pedagogiky / Christian roots of modern pedagogy

In this dissertation I analyze issues of Christian roots presentation in primary education. I also emphasis deviation from human being understanding - as being physical and spiritual. Actually physical dimension is preferred. I point to often forgotten pedagogical legacy of apostles saint Cyril and Metod, also their bravery related to the confidence in Jesus Christ legacy. Mentioned three church institutions are not mentioned in the education system, instead of Jesuits. In case of Jesuits, there is totally missing positive point of view and information about benefits for actual education model. This benefit I describe also for other two church institutions, piarists and salesians, whose are not implemented in to the logical documents. Also pedagogic legacy of Jan Amos Komensky is not presented as a work focused on both human dimensions and is limited only on practical part of his pedagogical work. That is why I emphasis those diversions and I described benefits of individual personalities and institutions, their sense and focus on human included, and not only his physical part, but also spiritual. In the end of my dissertation I propose way of Christian roots presentation in RVP ZV, I mention didactic tools useful for their learning at all levels and periods in primary education system.

Education policy is one of the important goals of any country, as it affects the lives and employment of its people. Compulsory education in the Czech Republic is defined by the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education (FEP BE), with science education set out in educational area called Man and Nature. Although this is divided into individual educational fields, its framework concept allows the content of the fields to be integrated according to school programme. However, science has been taught separately in most basic schools for several decades, and any integration efforts are burdened by a lack of examples of good practice. The aim of this paper is therefore to perform comparative analysis of the educational area Man and Nature of the Czech FEP BE and integrated science curricula of selected European countries at the level of lower secondary education (ISCED 2). The analysis identifies topics that are included in foreign curricula but not in Czech curriculum and can thus be an inspiration (in the sense of policy learning), what integrative topics to include in the science education at basic schools.
