The diploma thesis Teaching Civic Education at the Elementary Schools in České Budějovice focuses on the current state of civic education at elementary schools in České Budějovice. The theoretical part deals with the system of curricular documents, analysis of the Framework Educational Program for basic education and its subsequent comparison with individual school educational programs at selected elementary schools in České Budějovice. The practical part presents interviews with four teachers who teach the subject of civic education at selected elementary schools in České Budějovice. These are the following elementary schools: Kubatova Elementary School and Kindergarten, Elementary School Matice školské, Church Elementary School and Elementary School and kindergarten of J. Š. Baara.

The theme of my diploma thesis is: "Natural Science walks and excursions - the current state and their implementation at the second stage of elementary school." It has two basic parts. The first part defines the different approaches of different authors to the main topic, ie. the conception of walks and excursions and it is associated with major subtopics. The second part involves self-evaluation of realized draft of Natural Science walks. It is based on an analysis of surveys that were used for collecting of data. I drew from the study of specialized literature, Natural Science textbooks for second stage of elementary school, and selected substrates from Elementary school Horažďovice.

My diploma thesis deals with using learning strategies when learning the English language. To research the learning strategies of students I will carry out a case study in one particular class of lower level of an eight ? year grammar school. The theoretical part is focused on the evaluation of the current knowledge and description and characterization of particular learning strategies. It stresses the importance of learning strategies in the context of the contemporary educational system. I also refer to the role of teachers and students with regard to using learning strategies. The practical part of the diploma thesis deals with the determination of measures in which the students of one particular class use learning strategies. To find out about learning strategies of the students I will use an existing questionnaire called Strategy Inventory for Language Learning (SILL) for my case study. On the basis of the gained data I will determine the measure of using learning strategies of particular students and the whole group. After that I will suggest a set of exercises which support mainly the development and use of the direct learning strategies.

Background: This thesis deals with the issue of healthy lifestyle in the area of the Czech education system, especially from the point of view of anchoring the educational subject "Health Education " within the educational program. The research part was realized through a questionnaire survey at four selected Prague primary schools and four eight-year grammar schools. The research group was consisted of 140 elementary school pupils and 136 pupils of eight-year grammar schools. After the evaluation of the questionnaire survey, a structured interview with one teacher on each of the schools was conducted and this information mapped their opinions to the subject of Health Education. Objectives: The aim of the work was to map pupils' awareness of the areas from the subject "Health Education ", and where the pupils gained this knowledge. Then compare the acquired information within two types of schools (elementary schools and eight-year grammar schools). The work also compares the obtained information with the opinions of the teachers who teach the subject at selected schools. The diploma work deals with formation and development of the key competencies with the pupils in primary schools focusing on communicative competency both in school environment and in extracurricular activities. The theoretical part gives insight into the basic idea of key competencies, a part of its history and its significance from the general point of view. The key competencies are defined and the concept of communicative competence is analyzed in this part. The theoretical part includes outlined methods and strategies leading to the formation of the key competencies in school and in extracurricular activities. 30 interviews of pedagogical workers, including 1 male and 14 female teachers from different schools and 15 spare-time-activity leaders, are assessed in the practical part. The aim of the work is to find out if a systematical formation and the development of the key competencies, in particular the communicative competency, takes place during pedagogical work (in a and outside of school).

Previous issue date: 2017-08-10 / It is essential that companies make investments in the retention and attraction of human capital. Avoiding the voluntary departure of employees, especially those with better skills and capabilities, and creating a favorable working environment for them to remain have become important goals for organizations. For this, it is necessary to understand what factors lead the individual to voluntarily leave. The main objective of this study is to analyze the contribution of perception of non-realization of personal values to the voluntary departure of the organization, through the following specific objectives: to identify the most important personal values of the participants and to identify if the perception of non- Organizational environment is considered in the process that led to the voluntary departure of the organization in which they acted. In order to meet these objectives, the voluntary exit constructs were presented, considered as the result of a process with several stages that culminates with the act of leaving the organization, and perception of realization of personal values in the organizational environment (RVP), defined as the Perception of accomplishment of personal motivational goals in the organizational environment in which people act when performing their daily activities. In order to broaden the approaches used to investigate personal values and PVR, in this study we used the qualitative approach, based on semi-structured interviews, with elements of the laddering method. The participants were eight professionals who had participated in the same trainee program early in their careers and had approximately 10 years of experience. From the categorical analysis of the transcripts it was possible to identify the most important first-order motivational types, Self-Direction and Stimulation, both goals related to Openness to Change, and Achievement (Self-Enhancement). In the voluntary decision-making process of participants in this study, different times for voluntary exit were identified. The perception of not realizing the most important personal values in the organizational environment in which they acted was a factor considered in this process, including the decision to exit to other areas of the organization. / É essencial que as empresas realizem investimentos na retenção e atração de capital humano. Evitar a saída voluntária de funcionários, principalmente daqueles com melhores habilidades e capacidades, e criar um ambiente de trabalho favorável para que permaneçam tornaram-se objetivos importante para as organizações. Para isso, é necessário compreender quais fatores levam o indivíduo ao ato de sair voluntariamente. Este trabalho tem como objetivo geral analisar a contribuição da percepção de não-realização dos valores pessoais para a saída voluntária da organização, por meio dos seguintes objetivos específicos: identificar valores pessoais mais importantes dos participantes e identificar se a percepção da não-realização de valores pessoais no ambiente organizacional é considerada no processo que levou à saída voluntária da organização em que atuaram. Para atender a esses objetivos foram apresentados os construtos de saída voluntária, considerada como resultado de um processo com diversas etapas que culmina com o ato de deixar a organização, e de percepção de realização de valores pessoais no ambiente organizacional (RVP), definida como a percepção de realização de metas motivacionais pessoais no ambiente organizacional em que as pessoas atuam ao desempenharem suas atividades cotidianas. De maneira a ampliar as abordagens utilizadas para investigar valores pessoais e RVP, neste estudo usou-se a abordagem qualitativa, baseada em entrevistas semi-estruturadas, com elementos do método laddering. Os participantes foram oito profissionais que haviam participado de um mesmo programa de trainees no início de suas carreiras e contavam com cerca de dez anos de experiência. A partir de análise categorial das transcrições foi possível a identificação dos tipos motivacionais de primeira ordem mais importantes, Autodireção e Estimulação, ambos metas relativas a Abertura à mudança, e Realização (Autopromoção). No processo de tomada de decisão de saída voluntária dos participantes deste estudo, tempos diferentes para a saída voluntária foram identificados. A percepção da não-realização dos valores pessoais mais importantes no ambiente organizacional em que atuaram foi um fator considerado nesse processo, inclusive na decisão de saída para outras áreas da organização.

Another topic is reading literacy, especially different concepts and ways of development by RWCT, creative drama and project teaching. Particular project is described in empiric part. Pupils of third class at primal school were observed during project. Qualitative and quantitative research is used in this thesis. The aim of research is influence of project teaching on pupil's motivation during the work with reading matter.

This diploma thesis deals with the mediation of the topic of home and its forms to children in kindergarten by the method of working with a book. The aim of this work is to select suitable books that offer different forms of home, whether in traditional or alternative form, and to create methodological material for them that would help children understand that each home is different. Based on this methodological material, verify the lessons by three selected teachers and assess according to the reflection whether this material is suitable as a methodology for the topic. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the various forms of home and shows the location of this topic in the Framework Educational Program for Preschool Education. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the characteristics of preschool children, mainly in terms of social and emotional development, literature for preschool children and methods of working with the book, which are also used in the practical part. Titel: Möjligheter och utmaningar med Kriminalvårdens arbete med män dömda för våld i nära relationer- en kvalitativ studie utifrån programledares perspektiv Våld i nära relation är ett folkhälsoproblem som inkräktar på mänskliga rättigheter och jämställdhet. Trots detta är forskningen bristande kring behandlingarna till män dömda för våld i nära relationer. Syftet med studien var att undersöka möjligheter och utmaningar som finns med behandlingsprogrammen Predov och RVP utifrån programledarperspektiv, i Kriminalvården. Metod: Data samlades in feb-mars 2023. Tio programledare från Kriminalvårdens frivård eller anstalt intervjuades i Zoom utifrån semi-strukturerade intervjuer. Datamaterialet analyserades med manifest innehållsanalys. Resultatet redovisas utifrån domänerna möjligheter och utmaningar. I möjligheter framkom kategorier som behandlingens sammanhang, tanke och handling, ökade resurser för en positiv förändring samt problemlösande strategier. I utmaningar framkom kategorier vanmakt, grandios självbild och mångfacetterad problematik. Slutsatser: De viktigaste slutsatserna från föreliggande studie är att ur programledares perspektiv finns det möjligheter och utmaningar. Möjligheterna är att behandling ger hanterbarhet, begriplighet och delaktighet, samt förståelse för hur tanke och handling hör ihop, vilket ger en ökad självkännedom, självinsikt och acceptans. Utmaningar är att det kan vara svårt med behandling pga. vanmakt utifrån starka känslor som skuld, skam, ångest och uppgivenhet. Även en grandios självbild med bristande problemlösningsförmåga är en utmaning.
