Trénink vícebojařky / Combined event training

Klučinová, Eliška January 2021 (has links)
Author: Bc. Eliška Klučinová Title: HEPTATHLONIST'S TRAINING Objectives: The main objective of this work is to evaluate my own performance development in relation to the training completed. This work is focused mainly on the year 2014, in which the Czech record was broken. The second objective is to compare and evaluate the composition of the training under the guidance of three different coaches and to evaluate the entire career of the heptathlete. Methods: This work uses methods of analysis and comparison. Results: The analysis of performance development discloses a gradual increase in performance in relation to the training completed. During the analysis of the training macrocycle 2013/2014, possible causes of the increase in performance were found, especially in the explosive strength training. When comparing individual coaching approaches certain insufficiencies and advantages in the composition of training and training methods were revealed. A power-oriented training was the most suitable considering my somatotype. Conclusion: In my career, I managed to reach my maximum in European and world competition (3rd place EAICH 2015, 4th place WAICH 2018, 7th place WACH 2013). The main limits, due to which I did not achieve better results, were mainly insufficient level of speed skills and health...

TheMPO: A knowledge-based system for therapy planning in pediatric oncology

Müller, Robert, Sergl, M., Nauerth, U., D., Schoppe, Pommerening, K., Dittrich, H.-M. 24 October 2018 (has links)
This article describes the knowledge-based system THEMPO (Therapy Management in Pediatric Oncology), which supports protocol-directed therapy planning and configuration in pediatric oncology. THEMPO provides a semantic network controlled by graph grammars to cover the different types of knowledge relevant in the domain, and offers a suite of acquisition tools for knowledge base authoring. Medical problem solvers, operating on the oncological network, reason about adequate therapeutic and diagnostic timetables for a patient. Furthermore, a corresponding patient record, also based on semantic networks and graph grammars, has been implemented to represent the course of therapy of an oncological patient.

A Canine Audience: The Effect of Animal-Assisted Therapy on Reading Progress Among Students Identified with Learning Disabilities

Griess, Julie Omodio 09 June 2010 (has links)
This study explored the use of animal-assisted therapy with students identified with a learning disability and limited reading success. Initially, reading progress was defined as the participants' comprehension rate obtained from an oral Informal Reading Inventory (IRI) passage. The nature of the Informal Reading Inventory requires the introduction of more difficult reading passages as the student's comprehension rate increases, potentially masking the overall effect of the intervention. Due to this factor and erratic student performance, which is a common characteristic of students with learning disabilities, obtaining consistent comprehension rates was difficult. Therefore, progress was defined only as total amount of time the student was engaged in reading under each condition. A reversal replication, single case design was implemented to determine the effects of reading to the therapy dog on the students' reading progress as measured by total amount of time read. The analysis indicated a statistically significant increase in the total amount of reading time as determined by the participants in the presence of the therapy dog. Positive student feedback about their experience reading with the therapy dog supported the effect of the intervention on reading progress.

Keeping record : applying organisational communication in intermediate phase classrooms

Ramcharan, Aneel January 2002 (has links)
A thesis submitted in fulfilment of the Requirements for the degree of MA in Communication Science University of Zululand, 2002 / In this thesis I present my recommendations regarding the role of organisational com¬munication and record keeping in Outcomes-Based Education within the intermediate phase classroom. I reveal that the fundamental switch from the traditional educator-centred teaching to learner-centred teaching in Out-comes Based Education requires that both educators and learners be in command of a range of communication strategies in order to construct meaning in the real-world social contexts. It will also be illustrated that intra-personal, interpersonal and small group involvements are all essential for successful teaching and learning to take place. The importance of verbal as well as nonverbal communication skills are also given due attention. Outcomes-Based Education is based not on knowledge, but on how we think learning takes place. The focus is on the mind of the learner as an knaginer, an inventor, a creator of ideas. What is clearly evident with this approach is the manner in which learners constandv ne¬gotiate, renegotiate and construct their own meaning. The focus is on the individual and not on the group. With this in mind, we need to note that everyone learns differently and we need to assess accordingly. As educators we also need to recognise what learners have learnt and we need to find ways of acknowledging that learning has indeed taken place. Out-comes Based Education requires a cooperative method of teaching which allows for democracy in the classroom. Learners are allowed to contribute freely about their daily ex¬periences. Further to this I examine the forms of communication that learners and educators must be in command of to succeed in OBE. I further recommend tools that can be imple¬mented to successfully manage assessments in OBE classrooms. A flexible database of spread¬sheets will be presented which could be adapted to suit individual schools.

Komponera mera! : En fenomenologisk självstudie av att komponera under tidspress / Compose more! : A phenomenological self-study on composing under time pressure.

Wilson, Philip January 2020 (has links)
In this self-study, I explore my own learning process in musical composition during time pressure. Six compositions are written with three different deadlines: four days, two days and three hours. There are two compositions for each deadline. The study is based on a phenomenological perspective with supporting literature and scientific research on musical composition and the correlation between work and time pressure. This study uses log records and video observations as methods of documentation while thematic analysis is used to analyze the collected data. The result answers two questions: How I experience working with limited time? and What methods are used to finish in time? The result is split into four categories each after its own deadline: four day composition, two day composition and three hour composition. These four categories have two subcategories: The compositions method and the experience in composing with time pressure. In the discussion, these results are set in relation to the selected literature, research and the phenomenological perspective.

Zápisy do katastru nemovitostí / Records in the Land Register

Bulíčková, Karolína January 2020 (has links)
Records in the Land Register This diploma thesis deals with the institute of records in the Land Register, which, due to Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, underwent numerous changes that needed to be reflected in legal regulation of the Land Register. At the time of writing this thesis, it has already been 6 years since the recodification of the Civil Code and changes associated therewith. Thus, it is possible to evaluate the legal regulation of records in the Land Register in its whole complexity. The thesis is divided in five parts that analyse different aspects of this legal institute. The first part of the diploma thesis outlines the historical evolution of the evidence of real estate itself for better understanding of current legal regulation. The second part of the thesis is focused on current legal regulation of the Land Register, its essential principles of holding the Register and extracts from the Land Register providing information about the state of real estate. The third part deals with the subject of evidence, as not all real property is being registered in the Land Register. Regardless the general description, the contentious part of the issue based on legal regulation is being involved in the description of each real estate as well. The fourth part of the diploma thesis aims to...

Krucký, Petr January 2020 (has links)
Healthcare is a highly dynamic industry that currently heavy relies heavily on the use of modern information and communication technologies. The electronization of healthcare aims to increase the efficacy, quality and accesibility of healthcare. One of the essential elements of e- health is a eletronic health record. It is a systematic collection of medical records of patients / population in a digital form. These records may be shared across healthcare providers or other stakeholders in order to utilize the gathered information. Medical records are shared through information systems or information networks. A shared medical record has not yet been adopted in the Czech Republic. The diploma thesis describes the possible effects of the implementation of a electronic health record and provides an overview of current and planned steps of public sector to introduce it. Based on the analysis of the steps of public sector, a separate approach to the implementation of an electronic health record is developed.

Personligt konto för hälsoinformation / Personal Health Record

Frisell, Johan January 2013 (has links)
This thesis investigates the personal account for health information (PHR) that every citizen in Sweden will be offered. The Ministry of Health and Social Affairs has made a decision to conduct a public procurement through Apotekens Service AB. The pro-curement was not finalized at the time of this report. The goal of this thesis is to on behalf of Mawell investigate what business opportunities the launching of a nationally provided service for PHR, and the ecosystem for applica-tions and services, is expected to result in, but also to implement two services to demonstrate the concept of how a service could be used to create benefits for a selected target group.During the thesis work a literature study and interviews with different target groups were performed. The purpose with the interviews was to identify different problems that the target group have in their operations and then analyze and give a proposal to how services developed for PHR could solve the problems. The result of the investigation is proposed services based on the different problems and needs of the targets groups and two service implementations. The report also gives Mawell proposal to how they could continue this work further.
