Este trabalho busca analisar a relação entre o agronegócio e a produção e reprodução do espaço urbano, tendo como foco a região de Ribeirão Preto - SP, dada sua importância econômica na produção agrícola sucroalcooleira nacional, apontando os processos de mecanização, industrialização e reestruturações produtivas no território regional, por meio da implantação de complexos agroindustriais, a partir dos anos 1970, sendo abordadas as noções de região e território, para caracterização do objeto de pesquisa, e destacada a atuação direta do Estado na produção sucroalcooleira e na expansão urbana nacional. Serão apontadas as alterações produtivas no contexto neoliberal a partir dos anos 1980, assim como o papel do setor privado e os processos de fusão, aquisição e transnacionalização no setor sucroalcooleiro. A relação cidade-campo será discutida, considerando a produção agrícola enquanto esfera produtiva de grande relevância para o desenvolvimento das cidades da região, apontando os conflitos do agronegócio e seus desdobramentos no âmbito urbano. A abordagem da expansão do mercado financeiro à produção agrícola de commodities e ao mercado imobiliário, por fim, aproximará o agronegócio e a reprodução do urbano, culminando na questão da terra enquanto denominador comum entre mercados financeirizados. / This research analyzes the relation between agrobusiness and the production and reproduction of the urban space, focusing on the region of Ribeirão Preto SP, because of its economic importance in the national sugarcane farming, pointing the mechanization, industrialization and productive reestructuring processes on the regional territory, through the implemention of agroindustrial complex, from 1970, addressed the concepts of territory and region, to caracterize the object of research, and highlighted the direct involvement of the State in sugarcane production and national urban sprawl. Productive changes on the neoliberal context from the 1980s will be identified, as well as the role of the private sector and mergers, acquisitions and transnacionalizations processes in the sugarcane sector. The town-country relation will be discussed, considering the agricultural production as great relevance productive sphere for the development of cities in the region, pointing the agrobusiness conflicts and its developments in the urban context. The approach of expansion of financial market to agricultural commodity production and the housing market finally zoom into agrobusiness and urban reproduction, culminating in the land issue as a common denominator among financialized markets.

O objetivo principal deste estudo é abordar o processo de transformação espacial de Campos Elíseos como condição à reprodução do capital no contexto da metrópole de São Paulo. A problemática fundamental é a reprodução do espaço, na qual enfatizamos o chamado processo de revitalização, situado no movimento de valorização, desvalorização e revalorização do capital. Nesta última fase, sobressai a intervenção mais direta do Estado, tentando induzir e sustentar uma reprodução mais dinâmica do capital através da atração de novos investimentos. Essas estratégias de revalorização vêm gerando conflitos entre as diversas classes e segmentos sociais pela apropriação desse espaço, com uma tendência à expulsão da população mais pobre. / The main objective of this study is to approach the process of spatial transformation of Campos Eliseos, as condition to capital reproduction in the context of the metropolis of Sao Paulo. The basic problematic is the reproduction of the space, in which we emphasize the so called revitalization process, placed on the movement of valuation, devaluation and revaluation of capital. In the last phase, the state intervention is more direct, trying to induce and sustain a more dynamic reproduction of the capital, through the attraction of new investments. These strategies of revaluation create conflicts among several classes and social segments for the appropriation of this space, with a trend to expel the poorest population.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / Esta dissertação de mestrado baseia-se em um estudo sobre as pequenas cidades da Amazônia Setentrional destacando Bonfim RR, no contexto da reprodução do espaço. Diante disso, o objetivo geral desta pesquisa foi realizar um estudo sobre a reprodução do espaço urbano nas pequenas cidades da Amazônia Setentrional, destacando a cidade de Bonfim como estudo de caso, no contexto de Roraima. Como objetivos específicos, destacam-se compreender através da aplicação de questionários e entrevistas, o crescimento urbano de Bonfim no período correspondente de 1970 a 2014. Entende-se que, o homem como agente que (re) organiza o espaço, vem gerando transformações socioespaciais, muitas vezes de acordo com suas necessidades. Nessa perspectiva, buscamos contribuir para o entendimento sobre as pequenas cidades da Amazônia visto que, ainda há poucos estudos sobre elas. Espera-se que esta pesquisa venha contribuir também para entender a natureza e as tendências da hierarquia urbana da região e as novas formas e funções do urbano nas pequenas cidades na Amazônia Setentrional, aumentando assim, a pesquisa científica nas diferentes linhas, sobretudo na constituição da Ciência Geográfica. / This dissertation is based on a study of the small towns of the Northern Amazon, specially Bonfim-RR in the context of reproduction of urban space. Thus, the objective of this research was to conduct a study on the reproduction of urban space in the small towns of the Northern Amazon, highlighting the city of Bonfim as a case study in the context of Roraima. The specific objectives include understanding through the use of questionnaires and interviews, urban growth of Bonfim from 1970 to 2014. It is understood that the man as an agent (re) that organizes the space, has been generating socio-spatial transformations often according to their needs. In this perspective, we seek to contribute to the understanding of the small towns in the Amazon, since there are few studies about them. It is hoped that this research will also help to understand the nature and trends of urban hierarchy of the region and the new forms and functions of urban small towns in northern Amazonia, thus increasing the scientific research in the different lines, particularly in the constitution of Geographic Science.

A discussão parte do princípio de que o espaço é um produto social e não um sujeito, como algumas políticas públicas vem reproduzindo. A apropriação de espaços que não estavam vazios, utilizando os megaeventos esportivos como justificativa, sinaliza um momento fundamental do processo de reprodução do capitalismo. Tal processo traz à tona o conflito do espaço como lugar de apropriação e uso em contraposição ao espaço como reprodução de valor e de riqueza. Dentro desse contexto, a cidade do Rio de Janeiro, que historicamente se utiliza de planos de ordenação urbana de forma a legitimar mudanças espaciais em fragmentos da cidade, tem dado continuidade a esse processo nos últimos anos através da implantação dos Planos Estratégicos e da realização dos Jogos Olímpicos. Este trabalho tem por objetivo geral analisar as mudanças socioespaciais ocasionadas na comunidade Vila Autódromo, localizada no bairro da Barra da Tijuca - RJ, em razão da realização dos Jogos Olímpicos Rio 2016. A pesquisa tem por objetivo específico identificar os sujeitos sociais e interesses envolvidos no processo de remoção dessa comunidade. Para atingir tal objetivo, foi utilizada metodologia teórico-documental com base em documentos normativos e jurídicos relativos ao processo de remoção pelo qual passa a Vila Autódromo desde 1993, e também documentos fotográficos e mapas, igualmente fundamentais para a compreensão do objeto. Durante todo o processo da pesquisa, foram realizadas pesquisas de campo de caráter descritivo e analítico, com aplicação de entrevistas qualitativas e análise de conteúdo dos dados, que embasam a conflitualidade entre os interesses dos moradores, o poder público e as empresas privadas, numa tentativa de compreensão de como as mudanças socioespaciais se inserem entre o lugar, a cidade e o espaço mundial. A Vila Autódromo se destaca nesse cenário pela luta de resistência dos seus moradores para permanecer no seu espaço de vivência e convivência e na consolidação de uma comunidade que enxerga o valor social da terra e não apenas o seu valor de mercado, sinalizando o caráter de conflito pelo direito à moradia que se estabelece na cidade do Rio de Janeiro atualmente / The discussion starts from the principle that space is a social product and not a subject, as some public policies have been executing. The appropriation of spaces that were not empty, using the sports mega events as a justification, signals a fundamental moment in the capitalist reproduction process. This process brings the conflict of the space as a place of appropriation and use opposed to the space as a reproduction of value and wealth. In this sense, the city of Rio de Janeiro, which historically uses urban development plans in order to legitimize spatial changes in fragments of the city, has continued this process in recent years, through the implementation of strategic plans and realization of the Olympic Games. This paper objective is to analyze the socio-spatial changes brought to the Vila Autódromo community, located in the Barra da Tijuca Rio de Janeiro city, because of the Olympic Games Rio-2016. One specific objective is to identify the social actors and interests involved in the removal of this community. To achieve this goal, the paper uses theoretical and documental methodology based in normative and legal documents related to the removal process experienced by the Vila Autódromo since 1993, as well as photographic documents and maps, equally imperatives to understand the object of the research. Inseparably, field surveys in the Vila Autódromo and the city of Rio de Janeiro were conducted through descriptive and analytical perspectives, with application of qualitative interviews and content analysis of the data that underlies the conflict between the interests of residents, the government and private companies in an attempt to understand how the socio-spatial changes are part of the place, the city and the global economies. The Vila Autódromo stands out in this scenario for its residents\' resistance struggle to stay in their living space and the consolidation of a community that sees the social value of land and not just its market value, indicating the nature of conflict for the right to housing that is established in the city of Rio de Janeiro today

A Função Social da Propriedade, em geral, é compreendida exclusivamente como um instrumento de racionalização da propriedade privada em favor do campo social. Ocorre, que essa perspectiva instrumentalista do direito não abrange os processos históricos e sociais formadores deste princípio. Neste sentido, se faz necessário o estudo deste instituto a partir da análise destes processos históricos e de sua materialidade. Desta forma, este trabalho busca contribuir com uma perspectiva crítica da função social da propriedade a partir da sua análise histórica e de seus processos formais e materiais como derivados da forma mercadoria e da condensação da luta de classes no Estado capitalista. Para tanto a metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa bibliográfica e documental de caráter analítico e qualitativo. Foi possível observar a vinculação da função social da propriedade com as formas sociais capitalistas o que desafia a compreensão da função social da propriedade como mero instrumento garantidor de direitos, o que justifica a sua não aplicabilidade ainda que seja um princípio constitucional / The Social Function of Property, in general, is understood exclusively as a private property rationalization instrument in favor of the social field. Nonetheless, this instrumentalist perspective of the law does not cover the historical and social processes forming this principle. In this sense, it is imperative the study of this institute from the analysis of historical and material processes. Thus, this paper seeks to contribute to a critical perspective of the social function of property from its historical analysis and its formal and materials processes as derivatives of the commodity form and condensation of class struggle in the capitalist state. Therefore, the methodology used was the bibliographical and documental research with an analytical and qualitative perspective. It was possible to observe the link between the social function of property with the capitalist social forms which challenges the understanding of the social function of property as a mere instrument guarantor of rights, which justifies its inapplicability although it is a constitutional principle
