Jezdecký areál Skalka / Equestrian centre Skalka

Pobucký, Petr January 2018 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis is a design of a horse riding centre. The horse riding centre is situated on the outskirts of the village of Střítež nad Bečvou in the Vsetín district. Within the horse riding centre, there are a main building a swell as horse stables with other equestrian facilities for riders and a riding hall. The main centre building has two above-ground floors. On the ground floor, there is a restaurant and a reception hall. On the first floor, there is a guest house providing rooms with ten beds in total. The main building also includes a private residence for the centre owner. The stables provide fourteen boxes for horses to be stabled. The horse riding centre is designed to play a role of a new tourist attraction in the region. The diploma thesis deals with the main building design. The building is supposed to be bricked with ceramic blocks and roofed with a gable roof but partly also with a flat roof. The thesis also looks into two special features – the design of health-technical installation, gas and water plumbing. Last but not least, it designs a steel roof truss.

The equestrian pratice in the Middle Age (late 5th-7th century) in northeastern of Gaule. : Archaeological knowledge, methodological research on the "horse-riding syndrome" and application of a new study protocol to merovingian populations.

Baillif, Christele 27 November 2018 (has links)
The topic of the equestrian practice of Western archaeological populations often leads to the question of the use of stirrups or not ? This question on the absence or presence of the stirrup in the ancient times is closely related to L. T. White's thought about his introduction to the West. He qualifies the character of this equestrian object as "revolutionary". This element of the equestrian equipment does not favor a better control of the animal, as you can be an excellent rider without stirrups like North American Indians during the colonial period. The stirrup or the stirrups offer new points of support to the rider and undeniably modify his posture on the horse. The posture of the rider has been the subject of many attentions as shown by the ancient, modern and current equestrian treaties. A large group of occupational stress markers described, by anthropological studies, and known with the term "horse-riding syndrome" would make it possible to recognize bone lesions associated with this equestrian activity. The rider’s change of position on the horse, especially during the introduction of new equestrian equipment such as the stirrup, raises the question of the universality of this syndrome regardless of the chronological period studied : a Greek rider does not have the same equestrian equipment as a rider of the 18th century. Therefore, both do not position themselves in the same way on their equine partner. The new study of this syndrome has helped to emphasizing the importance of conducting interdisciplinary research (using horse archeology, biological anthropology and equestrian sport medicine data) in order to rigorously discuss the injury impact of this activity on the rider's body as well as the influence of the equipment used. The Merovingian period offers an ideal archaeological context for such a study because of the presence of both equestrian artifacts and stirrup from the end of the 6th century in the burials, helping in defining occupational stress markers of this equestrian activity, and identifying riders, within the Merovingian funerary groups.

Elektromyografická analýza rozdílů v provedení vybraných cviků na gymnastickém koni a na koni v kroku / Elektromyographic analysis of differences in selected excercises on pommel horse and riding horse

Pyšková, Barbora January 2017 (has links)
Author: Bc. et Bc. Barbora Pyšková Title: Elektromyographic analysis of differences in selected excercises on pommel horse and riding horse Objectives: The aim of the thesis was to measure the activity of selected muscles, expressed as the percentage value of the maximal voluntary contraction (MVC), during excercises performed by both males and females probands. The effect of treatment (on pommel horse vs riding horse) and proband sex on muscle activity was tested. Methods: Maximal voluntary contraction of each muscle (eight in total) was electromyographically measured in each proband, using the test according to Janda. These values were used as a standard to which the values obtained by excercising on pommel horse and riding horse were related. The values were averages of three repeated measurements. The effect of studied factors was tested by analysis of variance. Results: The tested hypotheses were confirmed. The muscle activity during excercises was statistically significantly affected by the factors studied, therefore the variation in measured values is not random. Muscle activity tended to be higher on riding horse than on pommel horse, and in females compared to males. Key words: horse riding, pommel horse, EMG, electromyography, hipotherapy, correct horse sit

Plan de emprendimiento en base a la venta de canasta de frutas y verduras en la coyuntura actual del Covid-19 / Entrepreneurship plan based on the sale of a basket of fruits and vegetables in the current situation of Covid-19

Cerna Lagos, Marisabel Caroline, Shedan Herrera, Nicole Rocío, Tejada Ramirez, Yadhiel Angie, Zapata Araujo, Rosaelvira Alexandra, Castro Gonzales, Naomi Zoila Jacqueline 10 July 2020 (has links)
The growing demand in the current situation of the Covid-19 for necessities has caused various companies to choose to develop new proposals to satisfy said demand since consumers are afraid to go out and buy these products, so they choose to request delivery to the door of your home. For this reason, a line of fruit and vegetable baskets has been developed to meet the current growing demand. It is worth mentioning that, in the current market there is the sale of fruits and vegetables, however, what “La Caperucita” offers as a company is the quality and delivery to the client's home door safely and with sanitation requirements that the Peruvian State establishes. Therefore, the present work with a mixed methodology, that is, both quantitative and qualitative, aims to determine the viability of the “La Caperucita” project. The project first analyzes the BMC, where it establishes the fundamental aspects of the business, the needs, and profile of the consumer are analyzed, and it also analyzes the competition and even external factors and then goes on to an internal analysis where it evaluates with the investigation. Of hypothetical markets that validate the business idea. Once these hypotheses have been made and validated, sales projections and plans are carried out, both strategic, social responsibility, human resources, marketing and financial, financing, and valuation of the project. / Trabajo de investigación

Analysis of free-riding behaviour using instrumented bicycles

Johansson, Jonathan January 2023 (has links)
The use of bicycle as a transportation mode has increased in popularity during the last four decades. The reasons that could explain why the use of bicycles have increased in popularity are many. Nevertheless, three possible reasons for the increasing in popularity are because of the benefit in terms of health, reduced motorised traffic congestion, and air pollution. As bicycle traffic flows increase, the evaluating of the bicycle traffic infrastructure will become more important for bicyclist safety, and comfort. One possible evaluating tool for bicycle traffic is microscopic traffic simulation and one key component is the free-riding. The free-riding is a bicyclist that is not interacting with other bicyclist, and other road users during a ride. Furthermore, to develop a suitable simulation model of the free-riding needs data and a possible methodology for data collection on the free-riding is using instrumented bicycles. Therefore, this thesis will investigate a methodology that can be used to collect, process, and analyse data for two bicyclist and their interactions with the infrastructure. The methodology for data collection using instrumented bicycle includes a pre-defined travel route, two types of bicycles as a conventional, and an electric bicycle. Additionally, the equipment is used in the methodology should be easy to switch between bicycles to keep the behaviour as natural as possible for bicyclists. Nevertheless, the equipment is easy to switch between bicycles, if only a few tools is needed to switch between bicycles in the methodology. Moreover, data collection using instrument bicycle includes an interview survey on each participating bicyclist, and investigate weather conditions, and effort experience during the data collection on each participating bicyclist. Results indicate that negative acceleration i.e., deceleration, at intersections, curves, uphill when a conventional bicycle is used. Meanwhile, it is also negative acceleration i.e., deceleration at downhills when an electric bicycle is used. Furthermore, the use of electric bicycle leads to higher travel speed and lower power output usage on average than when a conventional bicycle is used as expected. Moreover, at downhills the speed can still increase even though the power output usage is zero, according to the analysis of free-riding behaviour. In addition, data collection using instrumented bicycle collects other measurement of the effort for the bicyclist such as the heart rate, and cadence. /
