Διαχείριση και έλεγχος Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) μέσω Ethernet/Internet

Χριστόπουλος, Κωνσταντίνος 20 September 2010 (has links)
Όλα αυτά υλοποιούνται με τη βοήθεια του PLC S7 300 όσο αφορά το λειτουργικό μέρος, της μονάδας CP 343-1 Lean για την επικοινωνία της εγκατάστασης από απόσταση μέσω ethernet, το LabVIEW 9.0 για την υλοποίηση του SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) και τέλος ο OPC SERVER της National instrument για την επικοινωνία του PLC S7 300 με το LabVIEW 9.0. / The scope of this thesis is the control and restoration of temperature and humidity from distance in environments which demand precise values of these two measurements. Such an environment can be an Operating Room or an Intensive Care Unit. The valves of the heating or the cooling element are activated according to the desired temperature. When room humidity is below the desired one, the dew three-port valve is activated. On the other hand when humidity is above the desired level the three-port valve of the cooling element is activated for further cooling (dehydration) and at the same time, if needed, it activates the three-port valve of the heating element to maintain the room temperature at the desired level. This is possible with the use of PLC S7 300, when it comes to the functional part, the CP 343-1 Lean unit for the distant communication of the installation through the use of Ethernet, the LabVIEW 9.0 for the implementation of the SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and the OPC SERVER of the National Instrument for the communication of the PLC S7 300 with LabVIEW 9.0.

Polônia, Pablo Valério January 2011 (has links)

Mapping out dependencies in network components in critical infrastructure

Andersson, Karl January 2018 (has links)
Companies that operate with critical infrastructure face a growing threat from cyber-attacks while at the same time the development in the business is rapidly moving towards a higher level of digitalization. A common type of system in critical infrastructure is supervisory control and data acquisition systems, these systems have properties that can affect their security and will therefore serve as the basis for this thesis work. To stay protected despite systems changes, companies need to make risk assessments in order to analyze how changes will affect the overall system. One thing that is important to focus on is dependencies within the system, this means that not only interaction among computers and networks are concerned but instead a more holistic view of the system need to be considered. This thesis aims to aid the process of a future risk assessment by providing a methodology to be used as a preparatory step before a risk assessment by describing the current situation of the system. This is done by evaluating two system modeling approaches, and also by proposing a number of perspectives that each provides different kind of information about the system’s dependencies. These perspectives are then evaluated by creating system models and dependency graphs, and discussing the outcomes with experts in a utility company to find out their applicability. According to the experts, the proposed perspectives have promising properties that can be useful in future risk assessments as well as in other scenarios. Moreover, the evaluated modeling approaches got positive comments during evaluation and are considered to serve their purpose.

Enhancing the Internet of Things Architecture with Flow Semantics

Deserranno, Allen Ronald 27 September 2017 (has links)
Internet of Things (‘IoT’) systems are complex, asynchronous solutions often comprised of various software and hardware components developed in isolation of each other. These components function with different degrees of reliability and performance over an inherently unreliable network, the Internet. Many IoT systems are developed within silos that do not provide the ability to communicate or be interoperable with other systems and platforms. Literature exists on how these systems should be designed, how they should interoperate, and how they could be improved, but practice does not always consult literature. The work brings together a proposed reference architecture for the IoT and engineering practices for flow semantics found in existing literature with a commercial implementation of an IoT platform. It demonstrates that the proposed IoT reference architecture and flow-service-quality engineering practices when integrated together can produce a more robust system with increased functionality and interoperability. It shows how such practices can be implemented into a commercial solution, and explores the value provided to the system when implemented. This work contributes to the current understanding of how complex IoT systems can be developed to be more reliable and interoperable using reference architectures and flow semantics. The work highlights the value of integration of academic solutions with commercial implementations of complex systems.

Performance Analysis of Operating Wind Farms

Khatab, Abdul Mouez January 2017 (has links)
This work proposes a methodology to evaluate the performance of operating wind farms via the use of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA) and modeled data. The potential annual energy is calculated per individual turbine considering underperforming/loss events to have their power output in accordance with a representative derived operational power curve. Losses/underperformance events are calculated and categorized into several groups aiming at identifying and quantify their causes. The methodology requires both anemometry data from SCADA system as well as modeled data. The discrepancy of the data representing the valid points of the power curve is taken into consideration as well when assessing the performance, i.e. wind speed vs power output of events that are not loss/underperformance. Production loss and relative standard deviation of power output of what is defined as “valid sample” in this work (per each turbine) are the main results obtained in this work. Finally, a number of optimization measures are suggested in order to enhance the performance, which can lead to a boost in the financial output of a wind farm. Aiming at judging the reliability of the proposed methodology, a case study is conducted and evaluated. The investigated case study shows that the methodology is capable of determining potential energy and associated losses/underperformance events. Several questions were raised during the assessment and are discussed in this report, recommendation for optimization measures are presented at the end of the study. Also, a discussion on the limitations and uncertainties associated to the presented methodology and the case study.

Knihovna pro detekci významových vlastností stromových struktur / A Library for Detection of Semantic Properties of Tree Structures

Panov, Sergey January 2020 (has links)
