Návrh optimalizace elektronického obchodu Tesco / Design of optimization of Tesco e-shop

Procházková, Hana January 2012 (has links)
The thesis titled Tesco Potraviny online e-shop contents detailed customer experience based description of functionalities of the Tesco e-shop and some other e-shops competing on the on-line groceries market. Available methods of multi-criteria decision making allowed a platform for comparative analysis of functionalities of Potraviny online, Potraviny domů and Z-market shopping websites. The customer satisfaction survey had been carried out via a multiple choice questionnaire. A proposal for optimalization of the Tesco e-shop, this being the aim of the thesis, has been put together thanks to evaluation of both data collected and multi-criteria analysis being applied. The thesis also provides some subject related information about the Tesco company and looks into how the e-commerce evolves.

Návrh a implementace internetového obchodu s využitím Open Source CMS / Design and implementation of online shops using open source CMS

Achatov, Igor January 2014 (has links)
This thesis analyzes the current open source content management systems market and deals with the design and implementation of online shops using certain systems and their supporting tools. The thesis is divided into four main parts. The first part focuses on the market analysis of the open source CMS for creating online stores. The results, comments and ratings of individual CMS and comparative characteristics are presented for the following selection of the most appropriate and optimal variant according to the criteria given by the author. The second part deals with the analysis of specialized components for creating e-shops using the CMS selected in the first part. The third part presents the design and implementation of the internet shop based on the results of analysis in the first two parts of the thesis. This part is divided into several subsections (phases), which describe and illustrate the main implementation steps in the process of creating an online store. The fourth part focuses on the analysis of commercial marketing tools aimed at developing and maximally supporting sales and extends the standard features and functions of the created e-shop. The first of the main objectives is to analyse open source CMS and based on the criteria given by the author choose the best option for achieving the other objectives of the thesis. Another objective is the creation itself -- using the selected content management system to create an online store that would not only be functional but also adapted to the latest technologies and demands of the current market for electronic commerce. The third objective is to analyse certain marketing tools expanding the standard options of the created internet store, which are oriented to maximize the profits of the e-shop operator. The last objective of the thesis is, based on author's theoretical and practical knowledge, to offer readers the appropriate comments, suggestions and recommendations of individual tools, processes and technologies for the creation of a functional and effective e-shop. The information provided by the thesis can be useful to operators, developers, web programmers and users of online shops. The outcome, methods, illustrations and recommendations of the thesis may be used for educational courses, statistical, analytic and other purposes.

Particle swarm optimization and differential evolution for multi-objective multiple machine scheduling

Grobler, Jacomine 24 June 2009 (has links)
Production scheduling is one of the most important issues in the planning and operation of manufacturing systems. Customers increasingly expect to receive the right product at the right price at the right time. Various problems experienced in manufacturing, for example low machine utilization and excessive work-in-process, can be attributed directly to inadequate scheduling. In this dissertation a production scheduling algorithm is developed for Optimatix, a South African-based company specializing in supply chain optimization. To address the complex requirements of the customer, the problem was modeled as a flexible job shop scheduling problem with sequence-dependent set-up times, auxiliary resources and production down time. The algorithm development process focused on investigating the application of both particle swarm optimization (PSO) and differential evolution (DE) to production scheduling environments characterized by multiple machines and multiple objectives. Alternative problem representations, algorithm variations and multi-objective optimization strategies were evaluated to obtain an algorithm which performs well against both existing rule-based algorithms and an existing complex flexible job shop scheduling solution strategy. Finally, the generality of the priority-based algorithm was evaluated by applying it to the scheduling of production and maintenance activities at Centurion Ice Cream and Sweets. The production environment was modeled as a multi-objective uniform parallel machine shop problem with sequence-dependent set-up times and unavailability intervals. A self-adaptive modified vector evaluated DE algorithm was developed and compared to classical PSO and DE vector evaluated algorithms. Promising results were obtained with respect to the suitability of the algorithms for solving a range of multi-objective multiple machine scheduling problems. Pastelería Gluten 4 Free

Borda Málaga , Rodrigo Felipe, Lizárraga Cabrales, Diego Alejandro, Ortega Soto, Jazmin Patricia, Peña Pinto, Nadya Deborah 11 July 2020 (has links)
The business idea is to meet the demand for gluten-free desserts from a public that suffers from celiac disease, which is a little known market in Peru. The approximate population according to the Association of Celiacs in Peru is 1%, therefore, this business project presents the creation of the business of “Pastelería Gluten 4 Free”. It is worth noting that this idea arises as a response to an unsatisfied need, since celiacs are unable to easily locate stores with various gluten-free desserts such as chocolates, brownies, cakes, alfajores, among others, that are sent to their homes or consumed on site. These stores have accessible prices, healthy consumption, and a sales and after-sales service that will satisfy the public. By having a team with experience in the administrative, financial, logistical, human resources and chef areas, we have a solid base to make the business last through the years. Finally, in the financial statements we obtain the support of the sustainability and scalability of the project in time. Before the end of year 5, the investment is recovered, and even net profits are obtained. The financing method will be through own resources, so it will not require the application of loans to financial institutions. Currently, four shareholders are expected to invest 19,544 soles in the project. If an additional investor wishes to invest in the project, the initial investment of each will be 15,635 soles. / Trabajo de investigación
