Analýza marketingových činností vybraných malých firem / Analysis of the marketing activities of selected small businesses

An integral part of business should be systematic and continuous process of creation, coordination and control of marketing activities. Marketing is important for easy penetration of the market, so that a prosperous and firm to ensure the continued existence market. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the marketing activities of selected service firms, mutual comparison of these activities on the basis of analyzes carried out to design the next process of improving these activities. For analysis, three firms were examined in which their marketing activities. Based on the analysis of the marketing mix, Porter's model, analysis of the communication mix and SWOT analysis to identify appropriate strategic approaches and suggestions for how marketing activities of units. Suggestions for improvement were recommended with respect to the financial possibilities owners analyzed service companies.

The aim of this thesis was to prepare an analysis of the business environment and companie tranding in goods and products for dental hygiene. The operational objective was to assess the development of business opportunities in this field, focusing on short-term and long-term prosperity of the business and possibly adjust the current business strategy. In preparing the analyzes, it was found that the company hadn´t developed a strategy, but it only works with the visions, both in the market, property, economy and human resources. The proposed new strategy is a combination of market-oriented strategy and customer oriented strategy.

Komplexní rozvoj doprovodné infrastruktury cestovního ruchu na Pelhřimovsku / A complex development of tourism supporting infrastructure in the region of Pelhřimov

This diploma thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part itself is divided into four chapters which focus on the issues of tourism and marketing. The theory was clarified with the use of various reference books. The practical part focuses first of all on the demarcation of the discussed area of the region of Pelhřimov. Then a profile of a visitor was emerged of the survey results. On the basis of the region's primary and secondary offerings analysis, a SWOT analysis of the discussed region has been made. Furthermore, a thorough strong and weak points analysis of the sport-recreation services has been made, which together with the survey results contributed to a proposal for modernization and potential accomplishing of the supporting infrastructure for the leisure time spending in which particular destination.

I focused mainly on their management, organization, economy, human resources and then I also analyzed the macro environment of these companies. For this step I used the STEP analyses.

The main goal of this theses is to evaluate the public transportation service in České Budějovice. The theoretical part of this thesis offers the reader, basic information about services, their characteristics, features, but also information about pricing and types of services. Reader will be also acquainted with information about transportation services. Analytical part of the thesis describes actual status of public transportation in České Budějovice. The various routes, means of transport and conditions for transportation are described in detail. The financial development of public transport provider, Dopravní podnik města České Budějovice, is also evaluated. In order to achieve the main goal of thesis, the questionnaire with the focus on customer needs, was created. Thanks to the responses of the passengers, it was possible to determine which are the most important positives and negatives of public transportation in České Budějovice. Subsequently, the SWOT analysis was made. The SWOT analysis determined, what strategy the company should select in the future. Based on the results from performed analysis, it was then possible to suggest some proposals, that would in the future lead to improvement of public transportation service of České Budějovice.

This diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of marketing strategies. The aim of the thesis was to analyse and evaluate the current marketing strategies in the company Spojené kartáčovny, PLC, and, on the basis of this analysis, to put forward possible changes of the current state. The theoretical part has been made on the basis of the information gained from the scientific literature dealing with marketing, marketing mix, strategic marketing and systemization of the particular marketing strategies. In the practical part, there is summarised basic information about the company such as the history, development of the logo, structure of the employees or the organizational structure etc. The introductory part is followed by the analyses themselves, the suggestion of the possible changes and the project study on the e-shop and web pages. These analyses include the analysis of the marketing mix, Porter?s analysis of five driving forces, SWOT analysis and creation of the business model.

A case study research analysis into the Lean and Green principles of one of the State of Kuwait organisations could offer the country huge potential and could benefit other Arabian Gulf countries. In the chosen country (Kuwait), Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has no other outlet for its business apart from oil and gas production. It also does not concern itself with other support business that could contribute to Kuwait's economy.

Problems of sustainable tourism, which is solved in this diploma work, was applied to Sedlčany district. The Sedlčany region is situated in the Central Bohemia region. Region abounds in attractive scenic views and offers ample possibilities for recreation and relaxation. The work realized goals and hipothesis, which were set at the beginning. There were performed research, the analysis of district Sedlčansko and suggested proposals of posibilities for the next destinations development and problems solving. It´s successfully determined the present condition of tourism in this destination and made relevant conclusions of it. Thanks to nature and position this area has high potential for tourism development. There are ideal preconditions for sustainable forms of tourism in destination as biking, hiking and rural tourism. The important aims of Sedlčany district are to support development of tourism activities, construction and improve tourism infrastructure, the effective cooperation of all subjects operating in tourism, building ecological information system, the creation of products of tourism, co-operation with nearby tourism regions, making standarts of accommodation and catering, established through certificates.
