Význam pozitivního pracovního prostředí v práci sestry / The influence enviroment on nurse´s work

This work deals with the influence of a positive working environment in the work of nurses. At present, this issue is widely discussed, since there are large changes in the health sector. The problem concerns the lack of nurses, which is caused by nurses leaving to foreign countries to seek better working conditions. A lack of nurses is also caused by increasing demands on nurses, which is due to a reduced quality of health and nursing care. Furthermore, nurses are very badly paid. Another reason why nurses do not want to work in this profession is certainly the unhealthy working environment. An unhealthy environment reduces the performance of nurses, and often causes stress; long-term stress often has considerable consequences and nurses are forced to leave the workplace. If nurses are satisfied then patients are satisfied and the quality of care provided thus increases. This topic interested me because the issue of nurses working environment is currently very topical. I am also interested in how satisfied are nurses in the hospitals in which this research is carried out. In this research, I would like to learn how a positive work environment could be created for nurses. The research was conducted in hospitals in České Budějovice, Písek, Plzeň and Prague, through questionnaires and quantitative research. The research is based on a number of nurses working in these hospitals. The aim of this work is to see how a positive work environment affects nurses{\crq} work. The first hypothesis suggests that nurses need to perform their work a positive working environment. The second hypothesis should confirm that nurses need to perform their profession for a sufficient salary. The third hypothesis suggests that nurses need to perform their profession in a safe working environment. The fourth hypothesis should confirm that nurses welcome the opportunity of further education.

Contribution à la maîtrise des conformités légales en santé et sécurité au travail / Contribution to legal compliance mastering in occupational health and safety at work

Le souci du respect de la législation applicable en matière de Santé et de Sécurité au Travail (SST) est longtemps resté absent des politiques managériales des entreprises, et ce quelle que soit leur taille. Cependant, sous l'effet de pressions légales, économiques, sociales ou encore en raison du développement de référentiels normatifs dans ce domaine (exemples : OHSAS 18001), les employeurs sont incités à développer des dispositifs de maîtrise de la conformité légale plus ou moins complexes. Cependant, la mise en œuvre de véritables Systèmes de Maîtrise des Conformités (SMC) implique le déploiement de ressources humaines, financières, temporelles, méthodologiques mais également technologiques importantes. Pour faire face à cette situation, différentes catégories de prestataires de services proposent désormais des solutions de suivi et de gestion de la conformité. Malgré cela, l'étude de l'état des pratiques d'entreprise en matière de maîtrise des conformités légales SST montre que ces dernières sont encore extrêmement hétérogènes et que des besoins en matière de méthodes ou encore d'outils de consolidation des données (rapports de conformité, plans d'actions, ...) apparaissent nettement. En s'appuyant sur ces éléments de contexte, ce travail de recherche propose la modélisation d'un Système de Maîtrise des Conformités répondant aux besoins exprimés par de nombreuses entreprises afin de gérer des aspects tels que la veille réglementaire, les évaluations de conformité ou encore la gestion des plans d'actions. Afin d'évaluer l'intérêt et la pertinence du modèle proposé, plusieurs expérimentations ont été conduites en entreprise. Une synthèse des résultats obtenus est présentée à la fin de ce travail. / The problematic of legal rulings concerning Occupational Health and Safety atwork (OHS) was absent from companies management policies for a long time, regardless of their size. However, because of legal, economic, social pressures and the development of normative references in the field of OHS (such as OHSAS 18001), employers are encouraged to develop more or less complex compliance management devices. Nevertheless, the implementation of a real Compliance Management System (CMS) forces to deploy important human, financial, time, methodological and technical resources. To face this situation, different categories of services providers henceforth propose monitoring and management solutions. Despite this, the study of companies state practices in the field of mastering OHS legal compliance shows that these practices are extremely heterogeneous and that needs concerning methods and data consolidation tools (compliance reports, action plans…) clearly appear. Based on these context elements, this research work proposes the modelling of a Compliance Management System responding to needs expressed by many companies to deal with aspects such as regulatory monitoring, compliance assessment and action plans management. To evaluate the interest and the relevance of the proposed model, several experimentations were conducted in companies. A synthesis of the results obtained is presented at the end of this research work.

Trygghetsfrämjande arbete - en kommunal utmaning

The purpose of the study was to examine managers´ knowledge, experience and perceptions of a municipality's security-promotion work and its significance for the overall experience security in the municipality.   Insecurity among residents is a major challenge for a municipality. It can lead to impaired public health, which long term affects many individuals. Insecurity and security are often linked to a socially sustainable society and should equal for all. Therefore, it is of great importance for the development of society that basic needs such as security are part of the security promotion work that is carried out.   The study used a qualitative method with four semi-structured interviews. The data was transcribed and analyzed by a thematic analysis method.   Results showed that the managers expressed a unified view that the perceived insecurity was perceived as vague and without foundation as the statistics show no increase in crime. Based on different social groups, insecurity is perceived and perceived differently. The municipality of Söderhamn has put security-promoting work high on the agenda, in order to increase the safety of the people in the municipality. By having a common sense and a greater understanding of the words used, conditions are created to reduce misunderstanding and ambiguity.   However, it is important to prioritize security-promoting work for the sustainable development of municipalities and it needs clarity in collaboration between administrations. It is also of the utmost importance that all administrations work together based on what is prioritized.   Keywords: safety-promoting work, insecurity, security and experienced feelings.

The aim of this diploma thesis is the preparation of a constructional-technology study into the realization of carcass industry hall in the village Moravany u Brna. An itemized budget has been created for the framework alongside a proposal for the main building mechanisms, time management, health and safety plan and environmental management. The thesis is focused on detailed realization of the precast concrete frame which outlines technological regulation and inspection and a trial plan. The thesis further deals with site equipment, possible public transport routes into specific areas and how the main technological stages are developed. In creation of this thesis were used constructional-technological softwares BuildPowerS, CONTEC, ArchiCAD, AutoTurn, Vehicle Tracking and Hluk+9.

Äventyrsturism är en form av naturrelaterad turism där aktiviteter med olika grad av risk står i fokus för upplevelsen. Globalt har äventyrsturism kommit att bli en bransch som växer, samtidigt som den utgör en viktig inkomstkälla för många av de samhällen som erbjuder upplevelser inom konceptet. Men det är inte en upplevelse fri från risk utan riskfaktorer relaterade till miljö, väder och individen själv finns ofta närvarande vid naturrelaterade upplevelser vilket kan ge upphov till allvarliga händelser och tillbud oavsett om aktivitetens risknivå är låg eller hög. Forskning visar att individorienterade åtgärder ofta får står i fokus när åtgärder rekommenderas samtidigt som flera forskare menar att riskhantering behöver utgå från ett holistiskt perspektiv där samverkan mellan aktörer i branschen är betydande för hanteringen av risker. Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka hur det säkerhetsförebyggande arbetet genom samverkan utvecklas och upprätthålls med Fjällsäkerhetsrådet i spetsen. Studien har genomförts med en kvalitativ metod där materialet till studien har samlats in genom 13 intervjuer med. Intervjuerna har sedan transkriberats och analyserats med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys och resultatet presenterar likheter och olikheter mellan respondenternas upplevelser. Resultatet visar att det finns flera likheter, men också skillnader i hur respondenterna upplever det lokala inom det säkerhetsfrämjande arbetet. Men också likheter gällande betydelsen av samverkan där respondenterna upplever att samverkan bidrar till att bygga upp och stärka relationerna mellan aktörerna. Samtidigt finns det vissa skillnader i hur respondenterna uppfattar lagstiftningen och flera respondenter upplever dessutom att det finns en del utmaningar inom kommunikation och med att nå ut med information, men också utmaningar i form av bristande skadeövervakning och begränsade möjligheter till att utvärdera åtgärder. / Adventure tourism is a form of nature-related tourism where activities with varying degrees of risk are in focus for the experience. Globally, adventure tourism has become a growing industry while at the same time being an important source of income for many of the communities that offer experiences within the concept. But it isn´t an experience free from risk. Risk factors related to the environment, weather and the individual himself are often present in nature-related experiences which can give rise to serious events and incidents regardless of whether the risk level in activity's is high or low. Research shows that individual-oriented measures may often be in focus when measures are recommended, while several researchers believe that risk management needs to be based on a holistic perspective where collaboration between actors in the industry is significant for risk management.   The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how the safety prevention work through collaboration is developed and maintained with the Mountain Safety Council at the forefront. The study was conducted using a qualitative method where the material for the study was collected through 13 interviews. The interviews have then been transcribed and analyzed with a qualitative content analysis and the results present similarities and differences between the respondents´ perspectives.   The results show that there are several similarities, but also differences in how the respondents experience the local in the security promotion work. But also similarities regarding the importance of collaboration where the respondents feels that collaboration contributes to building and strengthening the relationships between the actors. At the same time, there are some differences in how the respondents perceive the legislation and several respondents also experience that there are some challenges in communication and reaching out with information. But also challenges in the form of lack of injury surveillane and limited opportunities to evaluate measures.

Prevention is the only effective tool to prevent risks of occupational accidents and occupational diseases (health hazards). The thesis describes the procedures and methods to search, evaluation and risk prevention in the workplace and basic description of the standard ČSN OHSAS 18001. At the same time, there are also compared the results of statistical analysis of occupational accidents for the years 2006 to 2010 in the Czech Republic and selected construction company.

Aplicación del Método Control Banding para reducir el riesgo por exposición de los trabajadores a agentes químicos peligrosos en una empresa de pinturas en Lima

El objertivo principal de la presente investigación es aplicar el método simplificado Control Banding en una empresa de pinturas en Lima, con el fin de reducir el riesgo a la exposición directa de los trabajadores a Agentes Químicos Peligrosos (AQP), utilizados en la fabricación de pinturas y thinner. El enfoque de la investigación es pre experimental con pre y post test. El método se apoya en el cuestionario la norma española NTP 749 para realizar la evaluación de los riesgos en las diferentes áreas afectadas, como son almacenaje, transporte y producción, los resultados de la aplicacion del cuestionario inicialmente mostraron deficiencias, resultando en el nivel 4 con una puntuación 1440 en el rango de 600 a 4000, encontrándose en el Nivel de Riesgo Deficiente, que requería realizar una corrección urgente. El control banding asigna una letra para caracterizar de acuerdo a su peligrosidad y disponibilidad a los 09 solventes, Acetato de Butilo, Solvesso 100, HAS, Acetato de Metilo, Xileno, Metanol, Metil Etil Cetona, Tolueno y Butil Glicol. Con el apoyo en las hojas de seguridad HDS y utilizando las hojas de control del Programa de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo y Medio Ambiente de la OIT. Los resultados muestran solventes mutagénicos, cancerígenos como son: el Solvesso 100 y el Has, categorizados con la banda de control E por lo que deben ser reemplazados y los demás categorizados dentro de la banda de control C y S, que pueden ser controlados a través de las hojas de control de la OIT correspondiente. Aplicado el método se procedieron a establecer parcialmente las medidas, como la adquisición de una maquina de trasegó con sistema de transferencia cerrada, el almacenamiento de solventes en un lugar ventilado y separado del resto etc. Posteriormente se aplicó nuevamente el cuestionario de la NTP 749 y establecio el Nivel de Riesgo 3 con una puntuación 980 en el rango de 800 a 1200 estos resultados finales nos ubicaron dentro de la tabla en Mejorable y redujeron el nivel de riesgo en 31.94%. El método del Control banding es una herramienta complementaria preliminar que basada en los estudios y conocimiento de la mayoría de agentes químicos peligrosos por organismos internacionales coadyuvan en el control y reducción de los riesgos. / The main objective of this research is to apply the simplified Control Banding method in a paint company in Lima, in order to reduce the risk of direct exposure of workers to Hazardous Chemical Agents (AQP), used in the manufacture of paints and thinner. The research approach is pre-experimental with pre- and post-test. The method is based on the questionnaire of the Spanish standard NTP 749 to carry out the evaluation of the risks in the different affected areas, such as storage, transportation and production. The results of the application of the questionnaire initially showed deficiencies, resulting in level 4 with a score of 1440 in the range of 600 to 4000, being in the Poor Risk Level, which required urgent correction. With the support of the HDS safety sheets and using the control sheets of the Occupational Safety and Health and Environment Program of the ILO. The results show mutagenic, carcinogenic solvents such as: Solvesso 100 and Has, categorized with the control band E so they must be replaced and the others categorized within the control band C and S, which can be controlled through of the corresponding ILO control sheets. Once the method was applied, the measures were partially established, such as the acquisition of a decanting machine with a closed transfer system, the storage of solvents in a ventilated place and separated from the rest, etc. Subsequently, the NTP 749 questionnaire was applied again and established Risk Level 3 with a score of 980 in the range of 800 to 1200. These final results placed us within the Improvable table and reduced the risk level by 31.94%. The Control banding method is a preliminary complementary tool that, based on studies and knowledge of the majority of dangerous chemical agents by international organizations, contributes to the control and reduction of risks.

La responsabilité sociale des entreprises à la lumière de la santé et de la sécurité au travail / The corporate social responsability of firms in the light of health and safety at work

La préservation de la santé et de la sécurité du travailleur est aujourd'hui dans le langage de la gestion, du management et progressivement des juristes, liée au concept de « responsabilité sociale d’entreprise ». Les employeurs doivent en tenir compte dans leurs décisions pour tenter de s'assurer l’adhésion des salariés et contribuer à la préservation d’un environnement plus sain. Ces idées, dont les contours manquent parfois de précision, intègrent progressivement le droit positif. Ainsi, à l’aune de son obligation de sécurité de résultat, dont la violation présente le caractère de faute inexcusable, il incombe à l’employeur, en cas de lien du préjudice subi avec le travail, une réparation allant jusqu’à s’étendre aux préjudices jadis exclus par le livre IV du Code de la sécurité sociale. Il est possible de considérer qu'il s'agit d'une rupture de l’équilibre du régime accordant le bénéfice d’une présomption d’imputabilité au salarié, en contrepartie d’une réparation uniquement forfaitaire, avec éventuellement un complément en cas de faute inexcusable. On peut se demander si au-delà des contraintes normatives qui l’y obligent, l’employeur ne doit adopter un «management de la santé » destinée à assurer le fonctionnement immédiat de l'entreprise et à terme la pérennité de son capital humain. / To save health and safety at work is today, in the language of the management and step-by-step of lawyers, bound with the notion of “corporate social responsibility”. Beyond legal pressures progressively integrated in the positive law, employers must take care about them in their decisions to have the adhesion of employees and to contribute to the conservation of a healthy environment. Goals are as those including by the “triple bottom line” of Elkington (economic, social and legal), as those corresponding to the logic via media and politicians with the management of the appearance of the firm. In addition, it’s possible to ask you: how long can we continue to have a balance about responsibility and reparation around health and safety? How firms can succeed with taking care about interests of actual and future employees too? The answer ask you to study how France choose a “corporate social responsibility” with an important place for the State in opposition of what could be prefered by some authors. But the problem is that this system can be excessively interpreted by Judges. They often accept the responsibility of the employer in cases while it’s not sure that he (or the activity of the firm) created the risk. In addition, the French “corporate social responsibility” can’t be adapted enough and quickly as it’s necessary concerning health and safety at work. That is why, you must see if other ways can been more satisfying. They can be with the same persons (employers and employees or their representatives) or with others stakeholders. It don’t mean that the State can’t be have a role in the “corporate social responsibility” about health and safety at work. But it’s important to see if it can be interesting to give firms possibilities to act voluntarily and ask you if we have to change the repartition of powers concerning this questions in France. An independent control of results must be planned.
