Sel-f(DESIRES SN#2)100MG

Nishioka, Sayaka 01 January 2006 (has links)
In this Thesis ‘Sel-f (DESIRES SN#2) 100MG' I will talk about my origin and how my life of living in the United States for 13 years made me become who I am and my concerns. It helped to make me realized why I make and why I have become an artist. While living in the US I realized I was like a frog that's in a well. I began to realized and appreciate my country and its histories and so on. Encountering many people from different walks of life, being able to connect with them and share made me grow a lot and appreciate what I do as an Artist.

AnÃlise dos parÃmetros urbanÃsticos para regulamentaÃÃo das zonas especiais de interesse social / Analysis of urban parameters for the regulation of the special areas of social interest

Anna Cristina de Moura Cruz 30 November 2012 (has links)
The Brazilian urbanization occurs in a very fast pace and has been characterized by an increasing concentration of population in metropolitan areas. However, much of the population growth did not come accompanied by urban infrastructure, services, economic development, resulting in increased social problems and housing. In response to this problem and as a result of intense popular mobilization, the state has developed policies, plans, urban design and a broad legal framework, seeking to reverse the logic of uneven growth. It happens that the legislation, as it often complex, detached from reality and without proper regulation, generates exclusion and has low efficiency, contributing to the maintenance of irregularity and / or urban informality. It is noteworthy that the regulation of urban instruments becomes especially necessary when it comes to the low-income population, which may be included in the definition of special areas of social concern - ZEIS, allowing the establishment of a standard suitable for every urban settlement , adding quality and environmental upgrading of the living space. Thus, this study aims to examine the formative elements of urban design regulations considered essential in a special area of social interest, based on the analysis of case study ZEIS occupation Pici, located in Fortaleza / CE. It is hoped that this study contributes to the debate related to the regulation of urban ZEIS with data generation, besides being of practical relevance, may be considered by government and by society in general, to ensure technical quality, functional and spatial settlement with raising the quality of life of the population involved.

Traços do expressionismo alemão em Mário de Andrade / Traces of German Expressionism in Mário de Andrade

Lopes, Vivian Caroline Fernandes 12 August 2013 (has links)
The dissertation investigates the presence of German Expressionism in Mário de Andrade, as from the analysis of some periods of his intelectual and artistic activities - especially, his art criticism, his literary manifestos\' passages and the books Losango Cáqui and Amar, verbo intransitivo. The choice of this specific moments occurred after an embracing reading of his work, which identified three essential categories to the Expressionism: the primitivism, distortion and social concern, that led us to the critical speech.

No. of bitstreams: 1 2216.pdf: 1566726 bytes, checksum: e27daf0f70869705347621f742d18031 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2008-12-12 / The construction of housing types of social concern in the city of Pitangueiras are built mostly by masonry system of self-supporting - not armed, noting that the ceramic elements mostly used are bricks (massive brick) or airbricks, and as these buildings are executed without any technical monitoring because of socioeconomic conditions that lead to this way, they eventually show all types of pathological manifestations. Relating to the pathological manifestations that come from households of social concern, the humidity rising in mortared coatings is one that most stands out mainly due to disability (or absence) of sealing in the foundations. However, some respiratory diseases are caused by fungi arising in the mould of mortared coatings. The objective of this study was to evaluate the permeability of mortared coatings in inhabitations of social concern, both in places with evidence of mould in homes and apparently sound. Also, it was tried to identify the fungi and establish relations with the occurrence of respiratory diseases in their inhabitants. The results were to assess the permeability in mortared coatings using method of testing the pipe (CSTC), classifying the homes of social interest, analyzed as "sick" or "sound". The term refers to sick with pathological manifestations and housing, the term sound healthy housing problems without pathological manifestations. It was also possible to identify the types of filamentous fungi present in the mould of coatings using the method of microbiological analysis. So it's necessary to have technical guidance in implementing the housing of social concern as regards mainly the system of sealing the foundations of painting and mortared coatings, minimizing the occurrence of diseases related respiratory to pathological manifestations found in this study.

Major missiological motifs in North American classical pentecostal missions

Newberry, Warren Bruce 05 1900 (has links)
Text in English / This thesis is a study of several major motifs found in classical Pentecostal missiology in the North American scene. It is both a missiologically interpreted study based on the historical antecedents of Pentecostal mission theology and a Pentecostal interpretation of five major motifs germane to Evangelical and Pentecostal missiology in this present time. The intent and purpose of this study is to begin in chapter two with the Antecedents and Matrix of Pentecostalism per se and interpret them through missiological eyes. Topics such as the Holiness-Wesleyan roots of Pentecostalism which includes looking at such personages as John Wesley, Charles Finney, et al are studied. As well, the Reformed, non-Wesleyan roots of Pentecostalism are highlighted which includes Premillennialism, Dwight Moody, Reuben Torrey, A J Gordon, and A B Simpson, and Divine Healing. Finally, one arrives at the matrix of modern day Pentecostalism. The major emphasis is placed upon Charles Parham, William Seymour, the Azusa Street Mission, and on African American Pentecostals. The remaining chapters are an articulation, evaluation, and interpretation of five major Pentecostal mission theologies (practices) that emerged from the antecedents and appear to be in common with the majority of classical Pentecostal denominations. Chapter three deals with The Lostness of the Human Race. Topics included are lnterreligious dialogue, 'Life boat salvation', and the exclusiveness of Christ. Chapter four handles the concepts of Church Planting and Evangelism from perspectives of the Ecumencials, Evangelicals, and Pentecostals. In chapter five, the understanding of Indigenous Church Principles is studied from its origin to present- day application. Notable persons are Melvin Hodges and Morris Williams. Most relevant to present-day missiology is chapter six which deals with Social Responsibility and how Pentecostal missiology has responded to this need. Finally, Pneumatology as characterized by Pentecostal mission theology is studied. Emphasis is placed on Xenolalia, the Great Commission, Traditional Pentecostal Pneumatology, Pentecostal hermeneutics, and the Holy Spirit in missions. / Christian Spirituality, Church History & Missiology / D. Gotické povídky Elizabeth Gaskellové / Elizabeth Gaskell´s Gothic Tales

LIŠKOVÁ, Kristýna January 2012 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of nine gothic tales by an English writer of the nineteenth century Elizabeth Gaskell. These gothic tales are compared with the first gothic novels and gothic literature in general. Their analysis is carried out on the basis of spaces, heroes and themes which appear in E. Gaskell´s gothic tales. The diploma thesis reveals in which aspects Gaskell´s tales are different from the first gothic novels and which new themes, heroes and spaces were introduced by E. Gaskell. An important part of the diploma thesis consists of a brief biography of Elizabeth Gaskell. The events which influenced Gaskell´s work are especially emphasized. The diploma thesis also mentions several other authors whose works inspired E. Gaskell in writing her gothic tales.
