Analýza vlivu lyžařského výcviku v 1. ročníku oborového studia TVS ve vyšší nadmořské výšce na vybrané kondiční předpoklady studentů / Analysis of the influence of ski training in the first year of the study program PE and Sport at high altitude on the selected students' fitness requirements

KŘÍŽENECKÝ, Daniel January 2018 (has links)
This thesis analyzes the physical predispositions of students from the first grade of the physical education who attended a ski course. This course took place in France. This fact is quite important for the thesis because the course took place in a higher altitude. The main aim of the thesis is to compare results of tested probands before and after the course. At first, there was an information meeting where we provided more information about the aim of this thesis and about the testing. After this meeting we went to KTVS laboratory where the first measuring happened. After that all probands and other students left for the ski course to France for a week. The accommodation was in an Alpe d´Huez center which is situated 1860 meters and the highest point of it which is 3330 meters above the sea level. Probands were practicing in very high altitude all week. In this thesis we also look at how hard it is to work in this altitude, what kind of advantages and disadvantages it might have and which danger might come up. It is also necessary to think about the process of how probands should prepare themselves not to underestimate anything. The second measuring happened after the return to the Czech Republic. It also took place in KTVS laboratory. After the measuring we started analyzing all measured data of probands. We compared this data. After that we realised what this course brought to the students. We wanted to know what happens in following parts: body composition, Wingate test, spiroergometry and spirometry. In each part we were interested in some specific parameters that are related to this topic. We included specific parameters like: body fat, muscle mass, body water, maximum performance, average performance, maximum 5 seconds performance, fatigue index, VO2max, oxygen pulse, minute respiratory volume and vigorous vital capacity.

Hodnocení kardiorespirační zdatnosti sportovců a obézních pacientů pomocí spiroergometrie (Oxycon) / Evaluation of cardiorespiratory capacity of sportsmen and obese patients measured by spiroergometry (Oxycon)

Kieu Thi, Thanh Hai January 2011 (has links)
The objective of this thesis is to evaluate the cardiorespiratory fitness of sportsmen and obese patients through the medium of spiroergometry on cycloergometer by virtue of the analyzer of exhaled gas (Oxycon). Its advantage is that the measurement takes place "on- line", therefore it allows prompt monitoring of measured spiroergometric parameters directly on screen of computer that forms part of the analyzer. The spiroergometry is a method of determining the cardiorespiratory fitness through the medium of analyzer of exhaled gas in order to state the physical fitness. For statistical evaluation of differences in values of spiroergometric indicators between these two observed groups of patients I used the Student's unpaired T-test. The theoretical part contains an introduction into the issue of obesity, obesity epidemiology, history, aetiology and health risks of this disease, classification, diagnostics, treatment, and recommendations and advices for patients. Furthermore it contains terms as sports medicine, influence of motional activity on human organism, cardiorespiratory fitness, spiroergometry methodology, and spiroergometric parameters. The practical part contains a description of spiroergometric measuring process at the Institute of Sports Medicine at the 1st Faculty of Medicine of the...

Title: Effect of physical activity Nordic Walking on body composition and cardiorespiratory parameters in individuals after kidney transplantation and dialysis individual. Objective: The aim of the study was to determine the effect of physical activity Nordic Walking on body composition and cardiorespiratory parameters in individuals after kidney transplantation and dialysis individual. Method: This thesis has been prepared in the form of a qualitative case study. The study involved 9 probands at the beginning, but only 5 probands completed the study. It was done the input examination before the intervention. The intervention was made from 20 lessons of Nordic Walking which should take 60 minutes each of them. Then were probands tested again like the output examination. During these both examination were measured specific values of body composition, anthropometric values (height, weight, age, circuit level), as well as the distribution of muscle and fat mass in the body, the value of physical fitness, respectively. cardiorespiratory parameters of the individual, for which was used the spiroergometric test within a modified Balke's walking test. For to detect the quality of life was used before and after intervention standardized questionnaire assessing quality of life WHOQOL-BREF. Last but not...

Porovnání výsledků aerobní zátěžové diagnostiky při jízdě na slalomovém kajaku s klikovou ergometrií horních končetin. / Comparison of the results of aerobic exercise testing while kayaking and crank ergometry of upper limbs

Busta, Jan January 2015 (has links)
Title: Comparison of the results of aerobic exercise testing while kayak paddling whith crank ergometry of upper limbs. Aims: The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between the results of aerobic execise diagnostics of 6 elite kayakers (white water slalom) when paddling of flat water with crank ergometry of upper limbs. The results obtained when paddling on flat water were also compared with results obtained when paddling in the pool with counter (bachelor thesis). Based on the results we wanted to answer the question about the possible use specific forms of stress diagnosis (spiroergometry) in routine practice of training proces. Methods: We used standardized laboratory spiroergomtry stress test at crank ergometry of upper limbs and spiroergometry stress test when paddling on flat water of the same protocol. To obtain the functional values of physiological indicators in both test we used mobile spiroergometry equipment Cortex Metamax 3B and sporttester Polar. Feedback of probands were identified based on suervey with closed questions. Results: Testing kayakers reached when paddling on flat water the average functional values: heart rate (HR) 188,5 (±8,77) beats per minute, maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max.) 56 ml.kg.min-1 (±6.31); maximum ventilation (VMAX.) 127.31 l.min-1 (±15.16);...

The short term influence of right ventricular pacing burden on echocardiographic and spiroergometric parameters in patients with preserved left ventricular ejection fraction

Youssef, Akram, Pfluecke, Christian, Dawid, Maciej, Ibrahim, Karim, Günther, Michael, Kolschmann, Steffen, Richter, Utz, Francke, Alexander, Wunderlich, Carsten, Christoph, Marian 22 April 2024 (has links)
Background The incidence of worsened clinical outcome due to high right ventricular (RV) pacing burden in patients with preserved left ventricular function remains controversial. Objective To investigate the impact of RV pacing on several echocardiographic and spiroergometric parameters. Methods In 60 pacemaker patients with preserved left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) serial echocardiographies and spiroergometries were performed over a time course of 12 months. Additionally, in 48 patients retrospective echocardiographic analyses of the LV- and RV function were carried out up to 24 months after pacemaker implantation. Results The patients were divided into two groups: The high RV pacing burden group (hRVP: ≥ 40%) and the low RV pacing group (lRVP < 40%) according to the definitions in previous randomized MOST and DAVID trials. After a period of 12-month pacemaker therapy no changes to left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVEDD), left ventricular end systolic diameter (LVESD), LVEF, E/A-ratio; E/E′-ratio and tricuspid annular plane systolic excursion (TAPSE) could be revealed, independently of the RV pacing burden. Additionally, after 24-month long term follow-up there were no differences in LVEF and TAPSE in both groups. Accordingly, no relevant changes of peak exercise capacity, ventilatory anaerobic threshold or maximal oxygen consumption could be demonstrated independently of the RV pacing. Conclusions In pacemaker patients with preserved LVEF the burden of RV pacing has no adverse influence on several echocardiographic and spiroergometric surrogate parameters of pacemaker-induced cardiomyopathy after a follow-up of 12 to 24 month. Despite this, screening for pacemaker induced cardiomyopathy should be performed especially in the presence of new heart failure symptoms.

Jílková, Daniela January 2011 (has links)
Aim: The aim of this thesis "Examination of vegetative system in hereditary neuropathy" is to consider the level of physical fitness, physical actvity level and quality of autonomic function in patients with hereditary neuropathy Charcot Marie Tooth and an assessment of interactions of these parameters, especially with regard to possible influence by the presence of autonomic neuropathy and with regard to neurological symptoms. Background: Although vegetative neuropathy was mentioned in the first publication about CMT, it is not widely discussed topic as part of it. Methods: Seventeen probands underwent spiroergometry, heart rate variability test, six minute walk test, rating by the CMT Neuropathy Score and Overall neuropathy disability scale and completing the IPAQ questionnaire. Results: We found symptoms of autonomic neuropathy in group of patients with CMT, especially high-frequency part of heart rate variability spectrum has a particularly significant decrease. Patients with autonomic neuropathy have shown a low fitness and functional capacity, tendency to obesity and hypertension. The observed correlation of autonomic neuropathy and neurological impairment was very weak. Conclusions: We find a neuropathy of the autonomic nervous system in patiens with hereditary motor and sensitive neuropathy...
