High quality organization of students’ leisure time and their motivated participation is a relevant issue for teachers in Lithuania, as well as in other countries. The importance of students’ leisure time activities in such a complicated social context is without doubt very important. The aim of this graduation paper is to reveal the presumptions of students’ free time organization. The tasks of this graduation paper are to analyse the tendencies of students’ leisure activities and the principles of extra-curriculum education, to reveal social factors having influence upon students’ free time, to study the problems of organization of students’ free time and occupation, to prepare the recommendations for the organization of students leisure time in secondary schools. Analysis of the presumptions of students’ free-time policy and leisure time problems has been done. Using the methods of descriptive analysis and quantitative assessment, questionnaire research on students’ free time organization in Biržai region has been carried out. The results of the research confirmed the presumption that insufficient supply of students���� leisure time does not ensure the quality of positive socializing. The results of the research also revealed the main problems of organizing free-time activities at schools which include insufficient financial support, organizational difficulties, the absence of proper microclimate, poor students’ activity, devaluation of traditions and spiritual values... Title: The interest in outdoor activities of students from selected primary schools in Kladno district, by gender and residence Objectives: To find out which outdoor activities students from selected primary schools in Kladno district are interested in, specifically which outdoor activities they do and which they would like to learn. Furthermore, to find out what experience with outdoor activities students have and to compare results by gender and place of residence. Method: The research has been performed by quantitative method. To support gathering and collecting necessary inputs specific questionnaire was compiled for students of the 9th grade of primary schools. The research sample consisted of 204 respondents. Gathered inputs have been graphically processed and evaluated. Results: Primary schools offer to teach their students outdoor activities more during sports courses, school in nature and school trips than in physical education classes. Most of these students have experience with outdoor activities from school events, mainly with hiking, alpine skiing and motion games in the natural environment. More students have experiences with outdoor activities from outside the school than from the school. Darbo problema: Laisvalaikis nuolat besikeičiantis, vienas iš visuomenės ekonominio ir socialinio vystymo rodiklių. Visos bendros laisvalaikio problemos yra neišvengiamai susijusios su visuomenės vystymosi tendencijomis, urbanizacija, mokslo ir technikos pasiekimais. Šiuolaikiniame technologijų amžiuje fizinis aktyvumas, studentų tarpe ženkliai mažėja. Aktyvias laisvalaikio praleidimo formas vis dažniau pakeičia pasyvios: kompiuteris, televizija, naujos susisiekimo priemonės. Nauji mokslo ir technikos laimėjimai pasiekė ir studentus gyvenančius provincijoje, todėl aktyvus laisvalaikis taip pat sumažėjo, o fizinės ypatybės susijusios su judėjimo galimybėmis nėra tokios geros. Mažėjant aktyviam laiko leidimui, mažėja ir fizinis pajėgumas. Darbo tikslas - apibūdinti laisvalaikio praleidimo ypatumus Sportinės rekreacijos ir turizmo programos studentų tarpe. Uždaviniai: 1. Apibūdinti pagrindines laiko struktūras, laisvalaikio sampratą, laisvalaikio sąsajas su rekreacija. 2. Atskleisti laisvalaikio praleidimo ypatumus ir būdus studentų tarpe. 3. Ištirti Lietuvos sporto universiteto Sportinės rekreacijos ir turizmo programos studentų laisvalaikio praleidimo ypatumus. Darbo objektas: Sportinės rekreacijos ir turizmo programos studentų laisvalaikis. Tyrimo metodai: Mokslinės literatūros analizė, anketinė apklausa, aprašomoji statinė analizė. To describe the main structures of time, the conception of leisure time and the links of leisure with recreation. 2. To reveal features of spending leisure time among students. 3. To survey the features of spending leisure of students of sport recreation and tourism program of Lithuanian sport university. Job object: Leisure of the students of sport recreation and tourism. Survey methods: literary analysis, analysis of data collection, questionnaire and descriptive statistics. According to the research, it can be concluded that the Lithuanian University of Sport, Sport recreation and tourism specialty students understands leisure as time, which can be used for yourself or as recreation - time for spiritual regeneration and relaxation. It was found that the majority of the surveyed students have enough free time, appointed for leisure and most of the time only for themselves. The main factors influencing students' leisure activities, namely: personal interests and financial / economic situation. It can be concluded that the students' desires for leisure activities in a variety of prevents to choose limited financial resources, because the majority of respondents give too little money for productive leisure.
