The master’s final paper analyze the efficiency of Lithuanian water supply sector work sustaining set model of monopoly market, which was made using organic knowledge of Lithuanian and foreign authors. Before analyzing the main environment factors, that stop successful sector development all the year round, are identified and properly explored. With reference and theoretical intelligence, such alternatives of efficiency amendment, as reorganization and privatization, are weighted up by basing likely benefit and evaluating economic and social results using forecasts and mathematical – econometric methods. The first hypothesis, that the efficiency or economic work is different in varied groups of companys and the less company is, the less its work efficiency is, - so the want of sector reform by grossing it come was confirmed. The second hypothesis, that water supply sector reorganization and privatization must be universal valuable, is confirmed parcel, for sustaining pessimistic forecasts, when companies win, customers lose.

Labai svarbu ir savalaikiškai ištirti vartotojų poreikį broilerienai, aktualu nustatyti vartotojų požiūrį į Lietuvoje užauginamą produkciją bei importuotą. ir kokia yra priklausomybė vyrų bei moterų tarpe, ir nuo gaunamo atlyginimo. Vartotojų tyrimai rodo, kad auga paklausa lengvai virškinamiems, greitai paruošiamiems, aukštos maistinės kokybės gyvulininkystės produktams. Darbo tikslas - Išsiaiškinti broilerienos paklausą ir pasiūlą Lietuvoje, įvertinti broilerienos suvartojimo tendencijas, analizuoti broilerienos rinką, pagrindinius gamintojus. Įvertinti importą ir eksportą, taip pat sužinoti pagrindinius veiksnius, lemiančius broilerienos produktų pasirinkimo apsisprendimą Tyrimui atlikti buvo iškelti uždaviniai. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Įvertinti broilerienos pasiūlą ir paklausą Lietuvoje; 2. Ištirti broilerienos pasirinkimą priklausomai nuo vartotojo atlyginimo; 3. Išanalizuoti pagrindinius veiksnius, lemiančius broilerienos pirkimo apsisprendimą vyrų ir moterų tarpe; 4. Reklamos įtaka broilerienos pirkimui; 5. Išsiaiškinti kliento požiūrį į importuotą ir Lietuvoje pagamintą broilerieną. Rezultatai: 1. Tyrimu nustatyta, kad didieji prekybos centrai nėra populiaresni už gamintojo parduotuves (P=0,07). Mažmeninės prekybos vietos nėra populiarios, lyginant su didžiaisias prekybos centrais ir gamintojo parduotuvėmis (P<0,001). 2. The supply and demand analysis helps to recognize market and the factors which settled market changes. It allows to prepare more effective plan of activity and protect managers from theirs incorrect decisions. The market of piglet fodders was chosen, seeking to put into practice the theoretical supply and demand factor analysis. Such decision predetermined the fact that the market of pigs foddes although small, however very important and besides that about it very little information. The subject of research: to evaluate the piglets fodders production and consumption tendencies, to analyse the pigs fodders market in Lithuania, main fodders producers, importers and consumers, to find out pigs breeders point of view about supplied fodders. Results:1 Analysed pigs complex in which are bred 55,4 percent of every year bred pigs in Lithuania feed schemes, there is defined, that in all complex are applied early piglets feeding. Magistro darbe atlikta pirkimų proceso ir jį sudarančių etapų mokslinės literatūros šaltinių analizė, įvertinta pirkimų proceso reikšmė sėkmingam įmonės valdymui. Susisteminti užsienio ir lietuvių autorių pateikti pirkimų klasifikavimo, tiekėjų vertinimo metodai. Išnagrinėta atsargų planavimo įtaka pirkimo procesui bei atskirų pirkimo proceso etapų tarpusavio sąveika. Praktinėje šio darbo dalyje atlikta AB „Mažeikių nafta“ pirkimų proceso analizė, nustatytos pirkimų proceso stipriosios ir silpnosios pusės, pirkimo procesą įtakojantys veiksniai. Išskirtos pagrindinės pirkimo proceso problemos bei pasiūlytos tobulinimo kryptys. Iš dalies patvirtinama autorės suformuluota mokslinio tyrimo hipotezė, kad pirkimo proceso s��kmę labiausiai įtakojantis veiksnys AB „Mažeikių nafta“– tai tikslus ir savalaikis pirkimų poreikio identifikavimas, kuris yra neatsiejama pirkimų planavimo dalis. / This Master Paper includes analysis of scientific literature sources associated with procurement process and its stages, evaluation of purchase process’ impact on successful management of a company. The Paper also includes systematization of procurement classification and suppliers’ assessment methods offered by foreign and Lithuanian authors as well as analysis of inventories planning impact on procurement process and interaction of individual stages of procurement process. The practical part of this Paper includes analysis of AB Mazeikiu Nafta procurement process, establishes strengths and weaknesses of the procurement process, and factors having an impact on the procurement process. This Paper partially confirms the scientific research hypothesis formulated by the author stating that successful procurement process in AB Mazeikiu Nafta is predetermined by exact and timely identification of procurement demand which identification shall be an integral part of procurement planning.

In this thesis, we study a multi-period, multi-product, production planning problem for the lumber industry, and present a hierarchical approach to control and schedule lumber production in a sawmill. First, at the sawing unit, the lower level of the hierarchical structure, the combination of log classes, price lists and sawing patterns defines the expected output distribution in terms of lumber pieces. A price list, defining the value of outputs, is fed directly to the sawmill production control optimizer to select the best sawing patterns. This results in a broad variety of different lumber outputs. Second, at the upper level, a mixed integer programming model has been proposed to maximize the total revenue at the sawmill. The lumber outputs determined at the lower level are used as data at the upper level. Market demand, lumber inventory cost, and supply cost are considered over the planning horizon. The proposed model has been developed and implemented on a real-scale prototype sawmill.
