Posvátnost ve výtvarném umění / Holiness in Fine Arts

Podlahová, Klára January 2016 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the topic of holiness in fine arts in all three parts, namely in theoretical, didactic and fine arts level. The first part of the theoretical level focuses on the concept of holiness and individualization of experience with holiness with respect to manifestation of the category in a broad art context. With the use of specialist literature, the second section of the theoretical research follows on obtained findings about the holiness concept and it also deals with sacral space of The St. Wenceslas' Chapel at The Cathedral of St. Vitus and The Chapel of St. Cross at The Karlštejn Castle with regard to the possibility of a strong psychological effect from these venues. The didactic level is the logical outcome and a free inspiration of the theoretical part. It follows not only on the sacral space of both chapels but it also deals with secular usage of pupils. The main aim of all tasks is to guide pupils to think about category of holiness via their own visual expression in cross-subjects connection, that is with regard to social, cultural and historical context. The authorial fine arts part takes account of many impacts coming from the previous parts. The result is a series of six paintings out of which two can be considered primary experiments. It is mainly personal...

Prevence sexuálního násilí v prostředí noční zábavy: zhodnocení školení zaměstnanců nočních podniků z pohledu proškolených účastníků / Prevention of Sexual Violence in Nightlife Setting: An Evaluation of the Nightlife Staff Training from the Trainees' Perspective

Šťastná, Barbora January 2019 (has links)
Background: The nightlife environment is a frequent place of the sexual violence. It happens mainly because of the atmosphere and environment in the clubs, which are sexualized and characterized by alcohol consumption or other psychoactive substances. In the Czech Republic, nobody has been systematically involved in the prevention of sexual violence by this time. Since the end of 2017, the Department of Addictology has become a partner of the project Stop-SV - Stop Sexual Violence, which is dedicated to staff training in the clubs. Aims: The primary aim is to evaluate the training program by the club staff who attended the Stop-SV training. Methodology: The thesis is based on qualitative research methodology. Respondents were selected as simple random sampling. The selection criterion was the condition of participation in the Stop-SV training as the club staff. The research sample consisted of 11 respondents - 5 women and 6 men, 28 years of average age and on the positions as bar staff, security, managers, nightlife service worker, DJ, photographer. The data were analyzed using open and axial coding methods of the grounded theory. Results: The results are divided into three categories that correspond to research questions - evaluation of methodology and lecturers, evaluation of use in their own...

Algoritmus ochranné funkce pro lokalizaci nesymetrie / The algorithm of protection function for the unsymetries location

Kopáček, Petr January 2020 (has links)
The Master Thesis deals with a proposal of algorithm of a protective function for assymetric faults location in resistance-grounded medium voltage networks with decentralized measurement of instantaneous voltage and current values. The theoretical part describes a single pole fault in the resistance-grounded network including the network analysis using the symmetric component method. Furtherly follows brief reserse of nowadays considered possibilities of faults location in the medium voltage networks. The proposed algorithm which works on the principle of negative sequence changes and change differencies of voltage and current is described by mathematical operations and flowchart, and it is furtherly tested in the PSCAD simulator on the proposed network model. Also the algorithm is tested in the Matlab program using the real data from the local distribution network Pod Palackeho vrchem where the initial pilot implementation is assumed. The last part of the thesis includes also the algorithm sensitivity analysis.

Acid tolerance and organic acid susceptibility of selected food-borne pathogens

Slabbert, R.S January 2013 (has links)
Published Article / The development of tolerance to low pH levels and the existence of cross-resistance may promote survival of bacteria in acidic foodstuff and in acidic environments such as the human stomach, in so doing escalating the probability of food poisoning. Similar to antimicrobial resistance developing, there is growing concern that effectiveness of organic acids may decrease as a result of the emergence of acid-tolerant food-borne pathogens. The objectives of this study were to determine the development of acid tolerance in selected food-borne pathogenic bacteria and to explore the activity of organic acids against acid tolerant pathogens. Bacterial strains were screened for acid-tolerance and susceptible strains were induced through exposure to increasing concentrations of an inorganic acid, as well as acidic foodstuffs. Susceptibility to six organic acids at various pH levels was assessed in order to evaluate the possible relationship between altered antimicrobial activity and acid tolerance. Salmonella enterica sv. Enteritidis ATCC 13076 and Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 were found to rapidly develop acid tolerance, while intrinsic acid tolerance was noted in Salmonella enterica sv. Typhimurium ATCC 14028. Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853 demonstrated intermediate intrinsic acid tolerance. As expected, pH played a significant role in inhibitory activity of the organic acids as these compounds exhibit optimum antimicrobial activity at a lower pH (pH ≤5). It is, however, necessary to further elucidate the two-way role of pH in foodstuff concomitant to the addition of an organic acid.

Unconventional US Monetary Policy: New Tools, Same Channels?

Feldkircher, Martin, Huber, Florian 03 1900 (has links) (PDF)
In this paper we compare the transmission of a conventional monetary policy shock with that of an unexpected decrease in the term spread, which mirrors quantitative easing. Employing a time-varying vector autoregression with stochastic volatility, our results are two-fold: First, the spread shock works mainly through a boost to consumer wealth growth, while a conventional monetary policy shock affects real output growth via a broad credit / bank lending channel. Second, both shocks exhibit a distinct pattern over our sample period. More specifically, we find small output effects of a conventional monetary policy shock during the period of the global financial crisis and stronger effects in its aftermath. This might imply that when the central bank has left the policy rate unaltered for an extended period of time, a policy surprise might boost output particularly strongly. By contrast, the spread shock has affected output growth most strongly during the period of the global financial crisis and less so thereafter. This might point to diminishing effects of large scale asset purchase programs. (authors' abstrct) / Series: Department of Economics Working Paper Series

Hur elever uppfattar sina lärare : - en pilotstudie med Questionnaire of Teacher Interaction i svenska gymnasieskolor / How Student Percieve Their Teachers : - a Pilot Study Using Questionnaire of Teacher Interaction in Swedish Upper Secondary Schools

Almén, Amanda January 2017 (has links)
