Följande uppsats är en undersökning av ett antal svenskars inställning till-/ och kunskap om byggnadsvård. Informationsinhämtning till uppsatsen har skett via en webbenkät och en intervju med representanter från Svenska Byggnadsvårdsföreningen. Enkätsvaren har analyserats med hjälp Huuhka och Vestergaard’s teori om byggnadsvård och cirkulär ekonomi och av tidigare utförd forskning. Enkätsvaren har granskats tillsammans med svaren på enkätens huvudfråga ”Besitter du kunskap kring byggnadsvård?”. En majoritet av respondenterna, 61%, uppskattar att de besitter kunskap om byggnadsvård. 31% uppgav att de inte innehar någon kunskap om ämnet och ca 8 % svarade att de är ”Osäker på vad byggnadsvård innebär”. Resultatet visar en trend bland respondenterna till ökat intresse för återbruk och på så sätt även cirkulär ekonomi. / The following essay is an investigation of a number of Swedes' attitudes towards-/ and knowledge of building preservation. Information gathering for the essay has taken place via a web survey and an interview with The Swedish Association for Building Preservation (Svenska Byggnadsvårdsföreningen). Analysis of the survey responses has been carried out using Huuhka and Vestergaard's theory of building preservation and circular economy, of previous research and the survey responses have been reviewed together with the answers to the survey's main question "Do you have knowledge about building preservation?". A majority of the respondents, 61%, stated when asked that they have knowledge of building preservation. 31% stated that they have no knowledge of the subject and about 8% answered that they are "Unsure of what building preservation entails". The result shows a trend among the respondents towards increased interest in recycling and thus also the circular economy.
