Innovative utilisation and application of technology does, however offer temporary competitive advantages. This innovative utilisation and application of technology is dependant on the creativity and innovation of the entrepreneur. CaliWatch™ makes use of existing technology namely cellular technology, watch technology and medical monitoring technology. The unique application of these technologies gives CaliWatch™competitive advantage in the market. The innovation does not only apply to the technology, but also to strategy and marketing to keep this competitive advantage in the market. This study analyses the different technologies and industries, identifying potential target markets and give projected financial information. / AFRIKAANSE OPSOMMING: Tegnologie op sigself bied tans nie meer mededingende voordele in die era van tegnologiese ontwikkeling nie. Innoverende gebruik en toepassing van tegnologie bied wel tydelike mededingende voordele. Hierdie innoverende toepassing en gebruik berus op die kreatiwiteit en innovasie van die entrepreneur. CaliWatch TM maak gebruik van bestaande tegnologieë, naamlik sellulêre tegnologie, horlosie tegnologie, en mediese monitering tegnologie. Die unieke toepassing van hierdie tegnologieë bied CaliWatchTM mededingende voordeel in die mark. Die innovasie berus nie slegs by die toepassing van tegnologie nie, maar, om die mededinginde voordeel te behou, ook by die strategiese beplanning en bemarking. Hierdie studie ontleed die verskillende tegnologieë en industrieë, identifiseer potentiele teikenmarkte, en maak geprojekteerde finansiële vooruitskouinge.

O ultrassom, por sua vez, é um som com uma frequência alta suficiente para que não seja reconhecido. Diferentemente do som audível, a propriedade de ser resistente à difração torna o ultrassom um instrumento eficaz para a detecção de distâncias e velocidades estando, portanto, presente em muitos artefatos tecnológicos do cotidiano. Porém, o estudo do ultrassom é comumente tratado de forma muito superficial nos conteúdos de física do Ensino Médio e havendo pouca referência ao uso tecnológico do fenômeno. Com o propósito de fazer a conexão entre o estudo do ultrassom no Ensino Médio e a tecnologia em que ele é embarcado, propomos uma sequência de aulas para essa ligação. A sequência proposta tem como metodologia uma unidade de ensino potencialmente significativa (UEPS) associada a: um vídeo sobre a utilização do ultrassom para detecção de falhas estruturais de objetos; e a um experimento para detectar o intervalo de tempo de um pulso ultrassônico refletido por um obstáculo. Pretendemos com essa proposta, diminuir a distância entre o conhecimento de ondas ultrassônicas e sua aplicação tecnológica em diversas áreas e os alunos do Ensino Médio. / The sound wave is a physical phenomenon that is noticeable to the human ear in a certain frequency range. The ultrasound is a sound that is not noticeable to the human ear, even when it is set on a high frequency. Unlike the audible sound the property of being resitant to diffaction makes the ultrasound an efficient instrument in the identification of speeds and distances, this efficiency makes the ultrasound present in many of the daily technological artifacts. However, the teaching of the ultrasound is often overlooked in High School and the technological use of the phenomenon is frequently left behind. With the proposal of making a connection between the teaching of the Ultrasound in High School and the use of the phenomenon in technology, we propose a sequency of classes about this connection. The proposed sequency has as a methodology a potentially significant Teaching unit (UEPS) associated to: a video about the use of ultrasound in the detection of structural failure in objects; and an experiment to detect the time interval of an ultrasonic pulse reflected by an obstacle. With this proposal, we pretend to shorten the distance between the knowledge about ultrasonic waves and its technological application in several areas and High School students.

La investigación presentada tiene como objetivo general brindar tratamiento especializado de terapia a través de un aplicativo llamado Tera-COVID dirigido a pacientes con secuelas de COVID-19 de Lima Metropolitana, pertenecientes al nivel socioeconómico A y B, con edad comprendidas entre los 18 y 60 años. Para poder comprobar la viabilidad del modelo de negocio propuesto se tomará un enfoque de investigación mixto, al que se le dará un diseño de investigación experimental. Para ello se realiza diferentes experimentos para la validación de nuestro proyecto que consisten en prototipos, entrevistas a expertos y usuarios, página web propia, publicidad para crecimiento en redes sociales y elevar las interacciones, esto se ejecuta con el objetivo de medir el nivel de aceptación y grado de satisfacción de nuestro público objetivo. Por otro lado, se mide la viabilidad económica de nuestro proyecto bajo proyecciones financieras en el que se incluyen costos, gastos, ingresos e inversión que nos permiten comprobar la escalabilidad del negocio y su potencial a futuro para hacerlo sostenible en el tiempo. Los resultados de nuestras validaciones indican que los potenciales clientes dan como válido el proyecto, teniendo una intención de compra obtenido con la publicidad pagada. Por otro lado, el proyecto tendría un retorno de inversión en el año 5 aproximadamente, siendo la cantidad invertida 124,205 soles. Asimismo, los ingresos proyectados en el año 5 son de 547,620 soles frente al costo que como resultado tiene una utilidad de 160,658 soles, confirmando la sostenibilidad del negocio. / The general objective of the research presented is to provide specialized therapy treatment through an application called Tera-COVID to patients with sequelae of COVID-19 in Lima Metropolitan, that belongs to socioeconomic status A and B, aged between 18 and 60 years. In order to check the viability of the proposed business model, a mixed research approach will be taken, with an experimental research design. For this purpose, different experiments are carried out for the validation of our project consisting of prototypes, interviews with experts and users, our own website, advertising for growth in social networks and raise interactions on it, this is done with the aim of measuring the level of acceptance and degree of satisfaction of our target audience. On the other hand, we measure the economic viability of our project under financial projections that include costs, expenses, income, and investment that allow us to check the scalability of the business and its future potential to make it sustainable over time. The results of our validations indicate that potential customers consider the project as valid, having a purchase intention reached with paid advertising. Finally, the project would have a return on investment in year 5, with the amount invested being S/124,205 soles. In addition, the projected income in year 5 is S/547,620 soles versus the cost which as a result has a profit of S/160,658 soles, confirming the sustainability of the business. / Trabajo de investigación

En este contexto, las aplicaciones resultan esenciales para llevar a cabo actividades como las valoraciones, las cuales están vinculadas con la apreciación del rendimiento de los trabajadores. Para fines de esta investigación, nos enfocaremos particularmente en las aplicaciones de delivery, dados los efectos de las decisiones de los usuarios en los trabajadores. El artículo pretende abordar la problemática desde un enfoque semiótico que abarque la triada de las representaciones digitales. Por esta razón, se busca identificar las características de la interfaz de las aplicaciones, a partir de la relación entre las condiciones de trabajo de los repartidores y los usuarios de las distintas plataformas de delivery. Asimismo, se plantea analizar los efectos generados en las condiciones laborales de los trabajadores independientes, a partir de la interacción de los usuarios con el aplicativo.  De ahí que, una de las principales contribuciones de la investigación comprende clarificar los mecanismos y factores implicados, en torno a la desproporción ignorada por los usuarios y ciertamente normalizada por la falta de transparencia en los flujos de información emitidos por los aplicativos. Del mismo modo, buscamos fomentar el pensamiento crítico alrededor de los hechos concretos, con apoyo de las nociones sobre identidad digital. / Technology performs a leading role within on-demand platforms. In this context, apps are essential to manage activities such as feedback reputation system which are linked to performance evaluations. The aim of this research focus on the delivery platforms, which are related to the identity type that is embodied by users whose decisions have significant effects on the working conditions of delivery drivers. This paper seeks to identify the characteristics of the apps, based on the relationship between the working conditions of delivery employees and the delivery app users. To analyse the effects of the above-mentioned working conditions, it seems essential to approach the triad of meaning applied to digital representations. Considerable research interest is to clarify the mechanisms and factors involved when the power asymmetry is ignored by users and certainly normalized by intransparency in the information flows provided by the apps. En el presente proyecto de tesis se desarrolló una propuesta de software para la “Defensoría del Pueblo” que es un organismo autónomo encargado de defender los derechos fundamentales, supervisar los deberes de la administración estatal y la eficiencia en la prestación de servicios públicos a nivel nacional. En la actualidad, ante la coyuntura de la emergencia sanitaria y la cuarentena obligatoria gran parte de la atención a los ciudadanos se realiza de manera remota con asesoramiento a distancia, la organización se ha planteado aplicar la Transformación Digital en gran parte de sus procesos para facilitar la atención a los ciudadanos de manera automatizada y en tiempo real. Se ha detectado que existe la perdida de información de los plazos de las sentencias, la información de los casos se encuentra descentralizada y existe demora en las consultas en el sistema del Poder Judicial. Este proyecto optimiza el proceso de “Seguimientos de Procesos Jurídicos” automatizando las actividades para que sean eficientes, lo cual permite aumentar la atención de los casos dentro de los plazos mediante una solución web, repositorio de base de datos centralizada y la utilización de notificaciones push para alertar a los asesores de la emisión de sentencias. Con los prototipos presentados a la organización permitirá proyectarse en la navegación del sistema y de interfaz amigable e intuitiva, asimismo, las comunicaciones con sistemas externos se realizarán por medio de API de servicios; esto beneficiará a la organización y estará alineado al objetivo estratégico de “Modernización de la Gestión Institucional”. / In this thesis project, a software proposal was developed for the “Defensoría del Pueblo” which is an autonomous entity in charge of defending fundamental rights, supervising the state administration´s duties, and the efficiency in the provision of public services at the national level. Nowadays, given the situation of the health emergency and the mandatory quarantine, much part of the attention to citizens is carried out remotely with distance advice, the organization has considered applying Digital Transformation most part of its processes to facilitate the attention to the citizens in an automated way and real-time. It has been detected that there is an information loss on the terms of judgments, the information of cases is decentralized, and exists a delay of consultations in the Judicial Power system. This project optimizes the process of "Legal processes follow-up" automating activities to be efficient, which allows increasing the attention of cases within the deadlines through a web solution, centralized database repository, and the use of push notifications. to alert the assessors of judgments issuance. With the prototypes presented to the organization, it will allow to project itself in the navigation of the system and of a friendly and intuitive interface, also, communications with external systems will be carried out through API services; this will benefit the organization also it´ll be aligned with the strategic objective of "Modernization of Institutional Management". / Tesis
