No que diz respeito aos aspectos teóricos, baseamo-nos em autores da Terminologia e da Teminografia bilíngüe como Cabré (1999), Dubuc (1985), Szende (1996), Alpízar-Castillo (1995), Dyrberg & Tournay (1990), Felber (1995). Em relação à metodologia do trabalho bilíngüe, fundamentamo-nos, notadamente, em Haensh (1982), Aubert (1996), Barros (2004), Krieger & Finatto (2004). As principais etapas de nossa pesquisa consistiram em, primeiramente, estabelecer as obras em francês e em português que se constituíram de dicionários monolíngües notáveis da área jurídica e de um conjunto de códigos de leis. Em segundo lugar, delimitamos os termos que seriam tratados em nosso dicionário com base no cotejo de duas obras francesas. Uma vez delimitada a nomenclatura a ser estudada, partimos para o registro de suas definições e de outros dados na ficha terminológica monolíngüe em francês, criada com o auxílio do programa ACCESS de base de dados. Esse programa revelou-se muito útil ao trabalho terminográfico, pois permitiu a criação rápida e o manejo eficiente das fichas. Posteriormente ao registro dos dados em francês, procedemos à análise conceitual dos termos para estabelecermos as equivalências na língua de chegada, o português. Ao proceder à busca dos termos nessa língua, pudemos constatar três tipos de equivalências: a total, a parcial e a não-equivalência. Apesar de terem ocorrido casos de equivalência-total e de não equivalência em nossa análise, houve um número significativo de equivalências parciais em português, fato que reafirma que cada país organiza sua realidade a seu modo, segundo suas necessidades de criação de conceitos e de denominação... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The present work aimed at the elaboration of a bilingual dictionary French-Portuguese of legal terms whose target public are Brazilian translators. We based our theoretical sources on bilingual terminology and terminography authors as Cabré (1999), Dubuc (1985), Szende (1996), Alpízar-castillo (1995), Dyrberg & Tournay (1990), Felber (1995). Concerning the bilingual work methodology we based our study in the works from Haensh (1982), Aubert (1996), Barros (2004), Krieger & Finatto (2004). First of all, we established the French and the Portuguese works composed by monolingual dictionaries on the legal area and a collection of law codes. Secondly, we delimited the terms that would appear in the dictionary using the comparison of two french works. Once the terms were delimited, we registered its definition and other data on the terminological card in French, created by the access software, which was very useful to our work due to the fact that made possible an efficient and fast card creation. Then, we began the conceptual analysis of the french terms to establish the equivalent terms in Portuguese. In the meanwhile we observed three kinds of equivalents: total, parcial and non-equivalent. we noticed more cases of parcial equivalents in Portuguese. This fact shows that each country organize its reality on its own way, according to its necessity of creating concepts and denominations. This situation is intensified when we think about Law, a particular, social and cultural area of each civilization. The data founded confirmed the importance of creating a legal bilingual work to the translator. Therefore, after having established the equivalences in Portuguese, we elaborated the macro and micro-structures of our bilingual dictionary considering the discussions in the area. O tema desta tese é a linguagem do Turismo, sob análise na sua condição de linguagem técnica, e o objeto de estudo é a terminologia de Agenciamento de Viagens e Turismo. O turismo, como atividade humana que envolve dimensões política, econômica, social, cultural e ambiental, pode ser dividido em distintos subsistemas, de acordo com a Sistema de Turismo (Sistur), desenvolvido por Beni (1997). Entre esses, está o Subsistema de Produção, subdividido, por sua vez, em Agências de Viagens, Transportes, Meios de Hospedagem e Outros Serviços. Entre tais divisões, escolheu-se a primeira subárea, caracterizando-a pela atividade conhecida como Agenciamento de Viagens e Turismo. Formaram-se três corpora: um de extração e dois de comparação, sendo o primeiro, composto por dicionários terminológicos, e o segundo, por dicionários de língua. Coletaram-se 2014 termos, os quais foram submetidos a uma posterior análise, baseada em critérios objetivos, como sinonímia e hiperonímia/hiponímia, de modo a reduzir os termos a 660, número que se mostrou adequado para a investigação que se pretendia conduzir. Esses 660 termos foram examinados à luz da Teoria Comunicativa da Terminologia, utilizando-se, para este fim, uma ficha baseada no modelo de Barbosa (2001). Em seguida, compilou-se um dicionário terminológico multilíngue, em português brasileiro, com os 660 termos selecionados e analisados, com seus respectivos equivalentes (equivalências totais ou parciais) nos idiomas inglês, espanhol e italiano. A última etapa da pesquisa consistiu na análise dos resultados. Logo após, verificou-se que os objetivos foram planemente alcançados, e quais hipóteses foram confirmadas. Esta investigação levou às seguintes constatações: transposições da língua comum; acentuada incidência de sinonímia e de hiperonímia/hiponímia; consistente infuência da língua inglesa - evidente em empréstimos e termos híbridos - pouca influência da língua espanhola, com casos isolados de adaptações linguísticas, e, ainda, ocorrências de siglas e acrônimos. Por fim, comprovou-se que a terminologia de Agenciamento de Viagens e Turismo não responde a eventuais tentativas de normalização. / The theme of this thesis is the language of Tourism, in its analysis as a technical language, and the object of study is the terminology of Tour Operating. Tourism, as a human activity that involves political, economic, social, cultural and environmental fields, can be divided into different subsystems, according to the Tourism System (Sistur) developed by Beni (1997). Among these, there is the Production Subsystem, subdivided, in its turn, into Travel Agencies, Transportation, Lodging and Other Services. Among these divisions, the first one which is identified as the Tour Operating subarea, is the one from which the terms that have been collected and analyzed came. Aiming this goal, three corpora were formed: an extraction one and two comparison ones (the first comprises terminology dictionaries and the second common language dictionaries). Altogether, 2014 terms have beeen collected, which were subjected to further analysis, based on objective criteria, such as synonymy and hypernym/hyponymy, in order to reduce the terms to 660, a number that would be adequate for the analysis that it was intended to lead. The 660 terms were submitted to a terminological analysis in the light of Communicative Theory of Terminology, using, for this purpose, a terminological chart based on the model developed by Barbosa (2001). Then the multilingual terminological dictionary was compiled, with 660 terms in Brazilian Portuguese, selected and analyzed, with their equivalent (total or partial equivalence) in English, Spanish and Italian. The last stage of the research consisted in analyzing the results, whether the hypotheses were confirmed or not, and whether objectives have been achieved. This analysis led to the following findings: transpositions from common language; marked incidence of synonymy and hypernym/hyponymy; consistent infuence of English - evident in loans and hybrids terms - little influence of the Spanish language, with isolated cases of linguistic adaptations, and few occurrences of acronyms. Finally, it was shown that Tour Operating terminology has not responded to any attempts of standardization.

O objetivo desta Tese de Doutorado é apresentar o resultado de uma pesquisa terminológica monolíngüe descritiva acerca das unidades de conhecimento especializado relacionadas a uma área específica da língua portuguesa denominada gestão pela qualidade total em serviços, por meio da organização desses elementos em um dicionário terminológico. Para a concretização desse objetivo, esclarece-se, primeiramente, a escolha e a justificativa do tema e é apresentado um apanhado histórico que contextualiza a gestão pela qualidade total em manufatura e serviços no mundo e no Brasil. Apresentam-se, ainda, fundamentos teóricos da ciência da Terminologia e a importância desta no mundo globalizado atual. A partir da apresentação das modalidades do trabalho terminológico, percorre-se um ideário teórico que contempla a tipologia de dicionários, o dicionário terminológico e suas especificidades, a estrutura conceitual da área, as unidades de conhecimento especializado oriundas de tradução e suas adaptações à língua portuguesa por meio de seus modos de formação, até a concentração na questão da definição, com o intuito de se apresentar uma base teórica que possa responder às hipóteses levantadas: a gestão pela qualidade total em serviços constitui efetivamente uma área de especialidade em relação à gestão pela qualidade total em manufatura ou é apenas uma subárea dessa? Uma vez que essa filosofia administrativa surge em língua estrangeira, se surgiu, como as unidades de conhecimento especializado se adaptaram à língua portuguesa? Quais teriam sido os modos de formação utilizados nessa adaptação? São expostas, ainda, as informações pertinentes sobre a pesquisa bibliográfica, a recolha das unidades de conhecimento especializado, a ficha/pesquisa terminológica, a estrutura dos verbetes do dicionário e, em seguida, os verbetes que constituem o Dicionário terminológico da gestão pela qualidade total em serviços, apresentado de acordo com o tripé de Deming: o planejamento, o controle e a melhoria da qualidade total. / A descriptive monolingual terminological research concerning terms related to a specific area of the Portuguese language called Total Quality Control in Services is provided. Items have been collected in a Terminological dictionary. Choice and justification of themes and a historical summary that contextualizes Total Quality Control in Services and Manufacturing in Brazil and wordwide are given, together with the theoretical basis of Terminology Science and its importance in a globalized world. Working through modalities of terminology, the author follows a theoretical design covering the typology of dictionaries, the terminological dictionary and its specialties, the problem of the conceptual structure area, units of specialized knowledge from translation and its adaptation to the Portuguese language, from its different modes of formation to the definition problem. It will lead the reader to form a theoretical basis that answers some hypotheses. Is Total Quality Control in Services a true specialty area with regard to Total Quality Control in Manufacturing, or is it merely a subarea? If this administrative philosophy arose within a foreign language, how were the terms adapted to Portuguese? Which were the formation modes employed in the adaptation? Information on bibliographical research, collection of terms, terminological card research, structure of words in the dictionary is also given. Finally, the words in the Terminological Dictionary of Total Quality Control in Services are arranged according to the Deming tripod of planning, control and an improvement in total quality.

Nossa pesquisa apresenta um dicionário terminológico da área de Ortopedia Técnica (responsável pela fabricação de órteses e de próteses ortopédicas) sob uma abordagem lexicográfico-terminológica. Nosso corpus é constituído de 702 termos. O levantamento dos termos foi feito segundo os modelos teóricos da Lexicografia e da Terminologia. As definições foram elaboradas com base nos contextos colhidos de obras específicas sobre a área de Ortopedia Técnica. O dicionário terminológico é organizado em categorias temáticas, sendo que, dentro de tais categorias, os termos estão listados em ordem alfabética. Em seu final, apresentamos um índice remissivo do qual constam todos os termos que foram definidos e a indicação da respectiva página. Nossa pesquisa também apresenta uma análise morfossintático-semântica e pragmática dos termos, assim como dos principais processos de variação e de criação neológica do universo pesquisado / In this research the terminological dictionary of the Technique Orthopedics (responsible for the fabrication of the orthopedic orthestics and prosthetics), is presented using a terminologic and lexicografic approach. The dicionary is made up of 702 terms, wich were identified and collected using lexicographic and terminologic models. In other to make the definitions, contexts were taken from specifd books about Technique Orthopedics. The terminological dictionary is organized into thematic categories, and within each one of them terms are presented in alphabetical order. A remissive index with all terms definied in the dictionary is presented at the end, with indication of the respective page. Магистерская работа посвящена систематизации терминологической системы молекулярной генетики агрономии и зоотехнии и созданию англо-русского глоссария терминологии данной области знания. В работе представлена теоретическая база исследования, включающая публикации в области терминоведения и терминографии; проведена классификация терминологической системы и описан алгоритм разработки глоссария. / The master's thesis is devoted to systematization of terminological system of molecular genetics in agronomy and zootechnics and development of English-Russian glossary of terminology in this field. The paper presents the theoretical basis of the study, including publications in the field of terminology and terminography; a classification of the terminological system is made and the algorithm for developing a glossary is described.

This given thesis addresses the terminology of Visual Arts in the large bilingual dictionary and provides a reflection on the problem of terminology. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part gives definitions of language for special purposes, language for general purposes, term, terminology, synonymy, equivalence or terminological dictionary. The second part of the thesis analyses the given dictionary entries of the Visual Arts from the linguistic, terminological and lexicographical point of view in the large bilingual dictionary.
