Ver depois de olhar - a formação do olhar do professor para os desenhos de crianças / Seeing after observing the construction of the teacher`s ability to comprehend childrens drawings

Augusto, Silvana de Oliveira 06 May 2009 (has links)
Usually teachers are not introduced to any kind of formal art`s study. This research presents some theoretical benchmarks and a methodology used to improve the comprehension of young childrens drawings and paintings by caregivers involved in a teacher formation program. As a thoughtful and careful approach from the teacher in the daycare center (CEI) is of key importance to establish the proper conditions to the full development of the child`s drawing ability, it`s quite reasonable to expect that the development of that approach should be an important element in the teacher`s formation. Our methodology first describes the professional learning environment defined by a in-service teacher formation program sponsored by the City of São Paulo, Brazil, government, called Program ADI-Magistério, secondly reviews the theoretical benchmarks - Luquet, Lowenfeld, Mèredieu and Kellogg - that support the study material that was provided to the caregivers (ADIs) in the program, and last it analyzes the drawings and paintings that were produced by the children in those classes. The analyses provided to the teachers new and more rich visual references, defining a proper and meaningful environment for them to establish interesting relations and a new level of communication with the young children.

The research question is on traditional teaching formation while educational process center, situated in an instructional practice that contributes little to digital technology appropriation. Considering a FS referential methodology, we search to set up a connection with ideas of Donald Schön (2000) in order to discuss a reflexive practice. From investigation sequence, it was studied class dynamics, aggregating digital tools based upon reflexive teaching to allow an investigative learning of knowledge to lead student into protagonist in educational process. The research problem is: How FS, used on didactical and methodological organization of teaching work, contributes on teacher formation, to pedagogical use of digital technologies, in a sense that it can change traditional teaching posture to reflexive teaching? In that matter, we chose a qualitative nature research and a descriptive and interpretative approach, featured as a study case, having as subject a High School Mathematics teacher. This research had as its locus the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Ceará (IFCE), Fortaleza Campus. The investigation took place in three phases: observation of teacher during classes at Educational Computer Laboratory (ECL) using digital technologies (software Winplot); teacher formation subsidized by FS and observation of teacher posture during didactical sequences after formation. As a data collection technique, it was used direct observation, videos of classes and teacher semi-structured interview. Data were analyzed on content considering three basic steps: a pre-analysis, analytical data description and result treatment, involving inference and interpretation. From teacher talk and actions during investigative process, it was possible to indentify research analysis categories. The study was based upon FS methodology on authors such as (SOUSA et al. 2013), (ALVES, 2011), (JUCÁ, 2011), (SOUZA, 2010), (ROCHA, 2008; 2006), (BORGES NETO et al., 2007); (ALARCÃO, 2011), (WEBER & BEHRENS, 2010), (PERRENOU, 2002) and (ZEICHNER, 1993), the ones who deal with reflexive teaching formation, (KENSKI, 2007), (BORGES NETO, 1999), (VALENTE & ALMEIDA, 1997), the ones who approach digital technologies on teaching. The results proved the hypothesis of this thesis that “insertion of Fedathi Sequence Methodology, on pedagogical teaching work contributes to develop of traditional teaching posture as a reflexive teacher. On that perspective, we realize that FS besides allowing all didactical working process of a teacher, beginning from teaching preparation sequence, studying and resource evaluation to its execution, is an efficient means to end class improvisation.

Paludo, Luciana January 2015 (has links)
This thesis is concerned to discuss the status of choreography in the Undergraduate Dance Courses in the state of Rio Grande do Sul (RS) - Brazil. The research focused on understanding the context of these courses, by observing classes and interviewing professors who work with choreographic procedures in their teaching processes. Practices of Movement creation, choreographic composition and recreation of existing dance repertoires were problematized. It is described how teachers and students engage efforts to put their productions to appreciation in diverse presentations. The thesis also presents the extension projects, coordinated by the studied teachers, whose objectives are related to various choreographic practices. Choreography is discussed as a teaching procedure and as a pedagogic resource. The extension projects are presented and described as a device of visibility in dance that offers time and space for developing aesthetic refinement in dance creation. It can be understood that the effort to create, produce and present choreographies made in the RS Undergraduate Dance Courses is applied as a practice in dance formation.

Alunos com Transtorno de Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade: concepções e práticas de professoras de escolas públicas / Students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder: concepts and practices of teacher in public schools

Magno Alexon Bezerra Seabra 20 July 2012 (has links)
In this thesis we had as objective to analyze the understanding of public school teachers about the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as well as their pedagogical practices with students with this special need. The efforts for the present study raised from our professional practice, in a process of multiple experiences and observations in school settings where we worked, added to the lack of professionals specialized in this theme among the area of Education. Therefore, we seek to understand how teachers have been working pedagogically with their students with ADHD. In spite of many teacher formation courses, our teachers have few opportunities to know more about the ADHD, especially in the State of Paraiba, where this theme is not sufficiently discussed. In this work we brought the discussion about ADHD, from its concept to the interaction practices presented by different authors. We undertook a research in schools of the City of Joao Pessoa, with eight teachers who had in their classes, students with ADHD, who answered questions in a semi-structured interview. Six among the eight teachers interviewed had concluded higher education, however, none had done any courses in the area of Special Education or geared to deal with persons with ADHD. The reports of these teachers showed that the work with ADHD children, in general, was not different that with the other students of the class. But some teachers showed a certain flexibility, for example, offering other activities for children with ADHD when these students were able to finish their tasks more quickly. It was verified that the student with ADHD arrived at the classroom without any professional support, with the exception of the expected work of the teacher. As we were able to notice, few teachers had previous knowledge that the student had ADHD diagnosis. However, this fact was not enough to motivate them or the school to search for subsidies in order for the student with ADHD to be adequately directed. For Benczik and Bromberg (2003), the presence of understanding teachers who collaborate with the child, is very important for the students with a ADHD potential development. As discussed, this disorder involves three types: non attentive, the hyperactive, and the impulsive. This lead us to perceive that the activities should be more specific, since each type of ADHD presents different peculiarities, that is, each one of them presents specific educational special needs that demand differential treatment. It is relevant, therefore, that be undertaken studies that focus and work each ADHD type, with emphasis in their specificities in order to achieve a better academic and social development for this students.

This research aims to analyze the implications, which happen from the educational policies in the processes of appropriation and objectification, concerning the formation of the teacher for the infant education in the pedagogy course at a college center, which lies in Imperatriz - MA, a city in the Tocantina region. The methodological proceedings have been based upon the historical and dialectical materialism, where the data survey has been held by means of the pedagogical political project study of the referred course, also, by means of the documental analysis as well as interviews with both teachers and students. As it deals with a dialectical character research, the Historical Cultural theory, which conceives the human development as a consequence of the appropriations and objectifications achieved by the person, has provided the reference theoretical table both for the data survey and for the analysis of them. This reference has been based upon the works, mainly Vigotski´s and Leontiev´s. So, the analysis categories have been activity, appropriation and objectification. By the analysis of the data, which have been surveyed from the pedagogical political project of the course, one verifies, that the educational policies manifest in the principles, which lead the formation of the teacher by means of the theories of reflexivity and learning how to learn. One verifies, too, that the course does not have a definite conception either of kid or infant education, whose contents, which are contemplated in the syllabus of the subjects turned to the infant education, carry out to the adoption of schooling practices by the teachers, having more affinity with...
