Brottsbrytet. Magnusson, Johanna, Ingvarsson, Kate January 2020 (has links)
Brottsbrytet has been going through some changes since 2018, including going from being a theory-based program to becoming a module-based program. Since the change, not much research has been done either on the effectiveness or on the implementation of the treatment program, which made the subject relevant to study. The purpose of the study was therefore to study the moderator's perception of the treatment program Brottsbrytet in Sweden. The current study is based on a cross-sectional design with a qualitative approach and is using semi-structured telephone interviews. The sample was 20 institutions that, according to information, are working with Brottsbrytet and were asked to participate in the current study. Of all people who were asked to participate, the results were six interviews from six different institutions. This study showed an overall positive attitude towards the specific program. The common guidelines are used in a flexible way, which means that the manual is followed partly and other components in the starting points are also used. Education and experience are important for the effect of the process and that is used by moderator's of Brottsbrytet in Sweden today. The result shows that there exist some problems with the treatment program according to the moderators that can affect the implementation and the effect of the program. Brottsbrytet may, based on the results of this study, need a longer treatment process where for example enforcement may be relevant.

The Efficacy of a Self-Administered Cognitive Behavioral Treatment Program for Body Image Dissatisfaction in Women with Subclinical Bulimia NervosaEmerson, Ellen N. 01 May 1995 (has links)
Subjects for this study were 40 women (N= 40) with subclinical bulimia nervosa who were randomly assigned to either a Cognitive Behavioral Treatment group (CBT) or to a waiting list control group. Treatment was provided for 8 weeks in an individual, self-administered format, using an audio-taped treatment package for Body Image Dissatisfaction (BID). Cognitive behavioral treatment focused on changing negative thoughts and feelings about one's body. No specific treatment focused on changing eating symptomatology or concomitant symptoms, although these were assessed. The waiting list control condition received assessment, followed by 8 weeks of no treatment. Treatment outcome measures were three self-report scales that assessed BID and two measures that assessed eating symptomatology and concomitant symptoms. At posttest, treated subjects showed improvement on two of three measures of BID, with a trend towards improvement on the third measure, when compared to waiting list control subjects. Treated subjects also showed a trend towards improved eating symptomatology and concomitant symptoms such as depression and anxiety, relative to waiting list control subjects. The results indicated that CBT is effective for decreasing BID in women with subclinical bulimia nervosa when administered in a self-directed manner.

Langzeiteffekte multimodaler Behandlung chronischer Schmerzen unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der analgetischen Medikation / Long-term effect of a multimodal treatment program on use of pain-related medicationNeuschulz, Esther 08 July 2013 (has links)
Aktuellen Umfragen zufolge leiden in Deutschland elf Millionen Erwachsene an chronischen Schmerzen.

An Analysis of the Correspondence Between the Measures Collected by an Autism Treatment Center and its Stated Mission GoalsKowalchuk, Holly M. 05 1900 (has links)
This study was a program evaluation for an autism treatment center for the period of April 2008 through August 2011. the study extended previous evaluations of the autism treatment center. the purpose of this evaluation was to determine the degree to which the center’s measures corresponded with its stated mission goals. a number of data sources were reviewed including client records of demographic and outcome information. Findings suggest the center maintained records that allow for the evaluation of most of its mission’s goals. There were, however, difficulties with data collection, storage, and retrieval. the present program evaluation found that missing information and lack of follow-up information hindered efforts toward mission evaluation.
