Starting from the video-documentation of the Tecer Project, a living along experience with autistic called children, the present work makes a research about the history of the cinema and the art, searching for possible approaches between documentary films and artworks. The documentation had two focuses, to assist the development of the Tecer Project, and to create a film capable of modifying the image of the autistic children in the society. The research, that involves a study on the films The Man with the Movie Camera, from Dziga Vertov, Nanook of the North, from Robert J. Flaherty, and Chronicle of a Summer from Jean Rouch and Edgard Morin, tries to identify artistic aspects of the making of cinematographic documentaries. These are films witch bring a poetical elaboration of the cinematographic language, and, even being considered documentaries, they absorbed methods and typical techniques of the fictional cinema. Traditionally, the documentary film explores a relation with the reality. The development of the documentary language made possible that this relation could be clearer in the artwork, to the point of proper film maker to appear in the screen, as occurs in Chronicle of a Summer, evidencing that the film maker modifies himself, and modifies the object that he shoots, while filming it. Having conscience of the history and methods of audio-visual production, the present work presents the film Entre Nós, witch is the result of a five year documentation of the Tecer Project. A video-documentary that reconstructs the experience of living along with autistic children, according to the vision of the documentary film maker.

Crônicas na sala de aula: práticas de leitura e (re)conhecimento de mundo / Short stories in the classroom: reading practices, knowledge and acknowledgment of the world

Correia, Roseli Luz 11 August 2015 (has links)
The purpose of this dissertation is to demonstrate the reading practices in the classroom, day to day, seeking different ways of how to draw the students near to the literary readings. The choice of working with the short story genre came from the assumption that it facilitates the process of teaching and learning in the Portuguese language. Through this process, the students can take on the role of producers of knowledge and become subjects of this process. Subsequently, this work brings two other textual genres: the interview and the documentary video which could be developed based on the reading of short stories in the classroom. The methodological approach was formed as the real classroom situation and the students questioning were both emerging, and questions were established. For this reason, the theoretical foundation is justified by the actual need to investigate the texts. This work also aims to develop activities that promote the creation of meaning based on reading practices, with year 7 students from a public school in the state of São Paulo.

Santos, Valdirene Soares dos January 2020 (has links)
Abstract: This dissertation aimed to identify how high school students from a State School in the interior of São Paulo, build their professional training, through an approach based on the Historical - Critical Pedagogy method, characterized in five moments: Initial Social Practice; Problematization; Instrumentalization; Catharsis and Final Social Practice. In the course of delineating a historical and critical conception, students carried out studies on the theme of work, visited factories, participated in groups of conversations with professional workers and university students, under the bias of the Historical-Dialectic Materialist method that is characterized by the movement of thought through the historical materiality of human life in society. In this line of thought, we defined as a final educational product of research, a documentary video: “Eu Sonho Um Futuro”, whose students' reports were categorized through Discourse Analysis, and provided us with indications and references that the teaching of Historical Pedagogy Criticism encouraged, among students, to rethink professional training in a comprehensive way involving scientific knowledge with practical knowledge. / Mestre

Almeida, Argemiro Ferreira de 16 March 2011 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2016-08-03T12:29:23Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 Argemiro_capa.pdf: 110127 bytes, checksum: 41d43041af5b632892ed55069398c9eb (MD5) Previous issue date: 2011-03-16 / This dissertation studies the documentary videos Grito dos Excluídos, produced from 1995 to 2009 by Associação Rede Rua. The purpose is to find, in popular communication, political and aesthetic dimensions as constants of great significance in the composition of a communicative praxis, which is either developed in the popular milieu or addressed to it. Starting with the context of production of the documentaries we reflect on this singular communicative praxis developed by Rede Rua. We also attempt to understand the way in which this praxis produces political and aesthetic reflexes on the materialized work of the video and on its specific manner of recreating reality. The study is based on bibliographical and documental research as well as the participant research and the study of parts of the documentaries. We concluded that they emphasize the denunciative, claiming and annunciatory character of a group of organizations, entities and popular social movements which try to influence Brazilian society positively and whose aim is to overcome the excluding logic of reality that limits and subjects peoples‟ rights to the power of money. Although the videos show political positions, they cannot be understood, in its material form, as political actors . Nevertheless, the present work emphasizes that the aesthetics of the documentaries is manifested as undisjoinable from its political character, since it clearly shows the commitment of its producers to the transformation of an excluding daily reality.

The research, when describing in detail the process of production, use and pedagogical evaluation of a documentary video, proposes to demonstrate the contribution of this modality of audiovisual tool for the diffusion of scientific knowledge in the classroom, in the different areas of knowledge of Teaching Higher. The proposed methodology is based primarily on the conception survey about the theme of the documentary video to be produced, to investigate the knowledge gaps of the students on the subject matter. In this way, it becomes possible to produce a documentary video with high pedagogical potential, based on the knowledge gaps obtained by the conception survey process. Secondly, it is recommended to practice a pedagogical evaluation workshop, to be held with another sample group of the same target audience, through the application of pre and post-view questionnaires of the documentary video. The pre-screening questionnaire aims to investigate students' prior knowledge about issues related to the subject matter of the documentary video, while the post-screening questionnaire aims to investigate the students' perception of the documentary video displayed. The analysis of the data collected by the two questionnaires enables the calculation of the Assertiveness Growth Percentage achieved by the pedagogical evaluation process. For this work, specifically, the production and pedagogical evaluation of a documentary video that addresses the issue of Solid Waste Management to be used in Environmental Education activities in Higher Education of CEFET/RJ was carried out. The results of the research, totaling 332 assertive answers, obtained through the application of the pre-screening questionnaire, against 838 assertive answers through the post-view questionnaire revealed a Percentage of Assertiveness Growth of the order of 152.41%, which came to fill the pre-existing knowledge gaps of CEFET/RJ Higher Education students, thus proving the effectiveness of the methodology used.
