Desenvolver e garantir que as futuras gerações também de desenvolvam tem sido um tema bastante debatido nos fóruns nacionais e internacionais. Neste contexto se enquadra também o problema da geração de resíduos, tema que deixa em alerta as empresas e a sociedade, pois trabalhos e pesquisas nesta área apontam crescimento exorbitante na quantidade de resíduos gerados no planeta, e os gestores se deparam com poucas alternativas de destinação para essa gama de material produzido diariamente. Face aos diversos resíduos que são gerados todos os dias, este trabalho aborda especificamente sobre os resíduos de trilho, fruto das manutenções da malha ferroviária do Brasil, buscando estruturar um problema com auxilio da abordagem VFT (Value-focused thinking), do português – Pensamento Focado em Valores. A aplicação estruturada desta abordagem fornece subsídios para criação de novas alternativas de destinação e auxilia na elaboração de um modelo matemático, que consequentemente promove melhorias no processo de apoio a tomada de decisão sobre a recomendação da melhor alternativa. O estudo de caso é desenvolvido na Estrada de Ferro Carajás, principal ferrovia do Brasil no quesito volume de carga transportada, conforme relatório de evolução do transporte ferroviário emitido em agosto de 2016 pela ANTT (Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres). Está estrada tem apresentado dificuldades na destinação do grande volume de resíduos de trilhos gerados. O problema apresenta três decisores, para os quais foram traçadas as redes meio-fim e cuja, as preferências se complementam, não sendo identificados conflitos de interesse. O trabalho foi de grande relevância para a empresa, uma vez que foi possível se identificar alternativas até então não aplicadas para a destinação deste resíduo, bem como apontou as similaridades dos pontos de vista dos envolvidos, demostrando o engajamento e nivelamento da liderança quanto à busca de solução do problema e ainda representou a etapa introdutória de um processo que visa aplicação de um método que indique realmente a melhor solução a ser adotada. / Among the issues of great relevance today is the question of sustainability. Developing and ensuring that future generations also have developed has been a hotly debated topic in national and international forums. In this context, there is also the problem of waste generation, a theme that leaves companies and society on the alert, as research and studies in this area point to exorbitant growth in the amount of waste generated on the planet, and managers are faced with few alternatives For this range of material produced daily. Considering the various waste that is generated every day, this work specifically addresses rail waste, the result of maintenance of the Brazilian railway network, seeking to structure a problem with the help of the VFT (Value-focused thinking) approach of Portuguese – Thought Focused on Values. The structured application of this approach provides subsidies for the creation of new allocation alternatives and assists in the elaboration of a mathematical model, which consequently promotes improvements in the process of support decision making on the recommendation of the best alternative. The case study is developed on the Carajás Railroad, the main railroad in Brazil in terms of volume of cargo transported, according to an evolution report on rail transportation issued by ANTT (National Agency for Land Transport) in August 2016. This road has presented difficulties in the destination of the large volume of rail waste generated. The problem presents three decision makers, for whom the half-end networks were drawn and whose preferences complement each other, and conflicts of interest are not identified. The work was of great relevance to the company, since it was possible to identify alternatives hitherto not applied to the destination of this waste, as well as pointed out the similarities of the points of view of those involved, demonstrating the engagement and leveling of the search leadership Of solution of the problem and also represented the introductory stage of a process that aims at applying a method that really indicates the best solution to be adopted.

Messung der Aktivität des präfrontalen Cortex mit NIRS vor und nach iTBS-Intervention / Changes in prefrontal cortical activation before and after iTBS - a NIRS study

Angsterkrankungen stellen einen großen Anteil an psychischen Erkrankungen dar und gehen zum Teil mit großem Leidensdruck einher. Da die leitliniengerechte Therapie mit hohen Rückfallraten und ca. 25% Nonrespondern einhergeht, stellt sich die Frage nach alternativen Behandlungsmethoden. Transkranielle Magnetstimulation findet als nichtinvasive Behanslungsmethode zunehmend Anwendung bei neurologischen und psychiatrischen Erkrankungen. In der vorliegenden randomisierten, kontrollierten Studie wurde die Wirkung der TMS auf den frontotemporalen (FTC) und dorsolateralen präfrontalen Cortex (dlPFC) untersucht. Dazu wurden 42 gesunde Probanden zwischen 18 und 59 Jahren zur Hälfte TMS-stimuliert, die andere Hälfte wurde scheinstimuliert. Vor und nach Stimulation bzw. Placebostimulation wurde die Aktivität von FTC und dlPFC mit Nah-Infrarotspektroskopie (NIRS) während der Durchführung des Verbal Fluency Tasks (VFT) gemessen. In dieser Studie konnte keine Veränderung der hämodynamischen Gehirnaktivität durch TMS nachgewiesen werden, jedoch äußerten die Probanden der Stimulationsgruppe im Gegensatz zu den Probanden der Placebogruppe, Nebenwirkungen wie Schmerzen oder Muskelzucken verspürt zu haben. Die während des VFT laufende NIRS zeigte eine signifikant höhere Durchblutung und damit Aktivierung des linken FTC im Seitenvergleich und eine signifikant höhere Aktivierung während der semantischen als bei der phonemischen VFT-Bedingung, analog zu früheren, vergleichbaren Untersuchungen. Die Frage, ob sich TMS als mögliche Behandlungsmethode bei Angsterkrankungen eignet, lässt sich anhand der hier vorliegenden Studie nicht abschließend beantworten. / Anxiety disorders constitute a large proportion of mental illnesses and are often accompanied by great strain imposed by suffering. Since guideline-based therapy is characterised by high relapse rates and about 25% of non-responders, the question of alternative treatment methods arises. Transcranial magnetic stimulation as a non-invasive treatment method is being increasingly applied to treat neurological and psychiatric diseases. In the presented randomised, controlled study, the effect of TMS on the frontotemporal (FTC) and dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (dlPFC) was examined. For this purpose, one half of 42 healthy volunteers between 18 and 59 years of age received TMS stimulation while the other half received sham stimulation. Before and after both real and placebo stimulation, the activity of FTC and dlPFC was measured with near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) during the execution of Verbal Fluency Tasks (VFT). In this study, no change in hemodynamic brain activity through TMS could be detected. However, contrary to the placebo group volunteers, the stimulation group volunteers reported side effects such as pain or muscle twitching. The NIRS running during VFT showed a significantly increased blood flow and thus an activation of the left FTC in the side comparison, as well as a significantly enhanced activation during the semantic VFT condition in comparison with the phonemic one, analogous to previous comparable examinations. The question of whether TMS presents itself as a potential treatment for anxiety disorders can not be conclusively answered on the basis of the study presented here.

Efter nio terminers studier på Malmö högskola så var det tid för det avslutande examensarbetet. Under dessa nio terminer hade vi fått olika upplevelser och erfarenheter av den verksamhetsförlagda tiden berättade för oss av våra medstudenter. Även våra egna erfarenheter varierade. Vi ville därför ta reda på mer om dessa upplevelser och vilka anledningar till variationerna var. Den verksamhetsförlagda tiden uppfattade vi som en stor del av utbildningen för en lärarstudent och den del av utbildningen som förbereder studenten mest för den blivande yrkesrollen. Vi var nyfikna på ifall den verksamhetsförlagda tiden var något som andra lärarstudenter kunde se fram emot och var något som bidrog till deras utveckling som lärare. Studien ansågs vara av allmänt intresse för lärarstudenter som någon gång i framtiden blir handledare och/eller mentorer. Studien ansågs även vara intressant för de ansvariga för den verksamhetsförlagda tiden samt för verksamma handledare och mentorer knutna till Malmö högskola. / The aim of this essay was to examine the student teachers, who study the last semester at Malmö högskola school of education, attitudes towards their trainee post. The attitudes contain not only the trainee post as such, but also attitudes towards the instructor at the trainee post, the mentor at the school of education and the views of the theoretical goals which the student shall achieve. We used a qualitative method in shape of interviews to get the result. The interviews took place at the school of education and were executed at two separate occasions. We did not focus the result on gender, age or ethnicity, our only limitation was that the student’s primary subject was physical education and that they study the last semester at the teacher education. The result showed that the attitudes toward the trainee post were mostly positive. It also showed that the extent of freedom of responsibility was an important aspect of the student’s development and learning and that the theoretical goals were a bit indistinctive. The result was later analysed through two theoretical perspectives, a sociocultural perspective and a theory based on situated learning. This was later connected with a comprehensive discussion.

Para traçar uma poligonal, deve-se respeitar os valores e histórias dos habitantes da área. Nesse contexto, as audiências públicas são utilizadas como principal meio de participação da população no projeto, no entanto, estas não geram a percepção esperada, da forma como são tradicionalmente realizadas. Este trabalho apresenta um estudo de caso realizado no sudeste do Pará, sobre a utilização de estruturação de problemas como meio a possibilitar uma participação mais efetiva da população tradicional na concepção do projeto de traçado de sua poligonal. É proposta uma sistemática baseada no VFT (Value Focused Thinking, Keeney (1992)) para clarificar o entendimento dos objetivos da população alvo com o projeto. O VFT se baseia na identificação de objetivos fundamentais e meios e a sua aplicação neste caso mostrou-se adequada, permitindo o envolvimento da população de forma mais ativa, na discussão e compreensão do objetivo de um projeto de traçado poligonal de ocupação, assim como, na elaboração de seu escopo. Com a aplicação dessa sistemática, espera-se reduzir o surgimento de possíveis conflitos das partes interessadas, que em casos extremos podem, inclusive, comportarem-se como bloqueadores à execução do traçado da poligonal, o que em geral, é um comportamento oriundo do sentimento de insatisfação com o serviço prestado. / The project of land regularization of a territory begins by delimiting the area, called a polygon. To draw a traverse, one must respect the values and stories of the inhabitants of the area. In this context, public hearings are used as the main means of participation of the population in the project, however, these do not generate the expected perception, in the way they are traditionally carried out. This paper presents a case study carried out in the southeast of Pará, on the use of problem structuring as a means to enable a more effective participation of the traditional population in the design of the tracing project of its traverse. A system based on VFT (Value Focused Thinking, Keeney (1992)) is proposed to clarify the understanding of the objectives of the target population with the project. The VFT is based on the identification of fundamental objectives and means and its application in this case proved to be adequate, allowing more active involvement of the population in the discussion and understanding of the objective of a polygonal occupation tracing project, in the elaboration of its scope. With the application of this systematics, it is hoped to reduce the appearance of possible conflicts of the interested parties, which in extreme cases may even behave like blockers to the execution of the tracing of the traverse, which in general, is a behavior originating from the feeling Dissatisfaction with the service provided.

<p>Denna studie är ett försök att utforska lärarstudenters upplevelser av sin verksamhetsförlagda utbildning. Med hjälp av en intervjuguide kopplade till gällande styrdokument, utvärderingar och tidigare forskning genomfördes tio intervjuer som tydliggjorde flera aspekter som är av antingen positiv eller negativ karaktär för studentens upplevelser av VFU:n.</p><p>Det som upplevs som positivt av studenterna är att VFU-skolan ger dem en introduktion, att det finns tillgång till en egen arbetsplats, att det finns tid för reflektion, att personalen på skolan har en positiv inställning till dem som studenter, att man blir inkluderad i arbetslaget och att handledaren visar engagemang och ger studenten frihet i undervisningssituationen.</p><p>De negativa upplevelser studenterna framförde gällde kommunikationen och samarbetet mellan högskola och VFU-skola samt bedömningen av VFU:n.</p>

Den smutsiga praktiken - Verksamhetsförlagd handledning i lärarutbildningen

Syftet med vår undersökning var att synliggöra studenternas upplevelse av handledningen under den verksamhetsförlagda tiden i utbildningen. Vi problematiserade hur handledningen leder till en progression som möjliggör att studenterna kan uppnå lärandemålen under sin praktik. Detta gjorde vi genom att studera handledarteorier samt Malmö högskolas syfte med den verksamhetsförlagda tiden. Vi använde oss av en webbaserad enkätundersökning för informationsinsamlingen och analyserade resultatet efter de valda teorierna. I resultatet uppgav de tillfrågade studenterna en positiv bild av sin progression men vi anser i vår slutsats att handledningen till stor del inte getts på ett sätt som är förenligt med styrdokument och de handledningsteorier vi studerat.

ALIGNING SECURITY AND USABILITY OBJECTIVES FOR COMPUTER BASED INFORMATION SYSTEMS

With extensive use of information systems in day-to-day business operations, many organizations are facing challenges to develop robust computer-based information systems that are secure and widely used by the user community. In order to develop information systems that are secure and useful, understanding what stakeholders consider important and value about the security and usability is critical. Security refers to confidentiality, integrity and availability and usability refers to efficiency, effectiveness and user satisfaction. Using Value Focused Thinking approach, this research first proposes the usability objectives based on the values of system developers and users. Using the security objectives proposed by Dhillon & Torkzadeh (2006) and the usability objectives, this research proposes hierarchies with the overall/over-arching goals of security (confidentiality, integrity, availability) and/or usability (efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction). This research also analyzes a case of computer hacking and identifies which of the security and usability objectives that have not been met in that case study. The research contributions which include the usability objectives and security and usability hierarchies can be useful for theoretical as well as practical purposes.
