The students have been assigned a task from Consid, were they are supposed to develop a web based platform for handling the company’s consult CV:s. The key features of the system are to simplify the administration part at mission procurements towards customers and to match qualified consultants to certain missions.Consid is an international it-consult company and have about 1000 consults working for them. When Consid makes mission procurements towards a customer they have to manually match the best consult against a certain mission, this is both time consuming and complicated.The students started the project with big visions and thoughts about how the work would be performed and how the system would be developed. After the initial meetings and the closer it came to the beginning of programming it became clear that the expectations were too big. This is the biggest lesson learned during the project and something that has come to influence the rest of the development.The students have been compelled to learn a totally new way of structuring the code by the three tier architecture. They have also been able to get a deeper understanding of how system development is performed by companies.Before the project begun the students and the company made a requirement specification for the system. The goals for the system and early limitations were made. Along the project those goals and limitations have been changed.The report handles the work with the development and read up on problems and solutions. It ends with a discussion and is summarized so the reader gets a better picture of the system and the work around it.

This thesis, that comes together with an extranet and internet site programmed in ASP.NET 2.0, has been written in the context of our final project on bachelor level in association with the School of Engineering – Jönköping University. We had the choice to think of a project on our own or to work in association with a company. As the Belgian company Induma came with this idea, we decided to work this project out. Our project has got the name ‘Company Communication System for Customers and Dealers’. Besides the front-end and back-end internet site, it will also include a system for customers and dealers, extranet site. So the site will get more interactive and there will be more online transactions possible. We would like to thank the School of Engineering – Jönköping University, KATHO – VHTI and our parents to get the chance to experience studying abroad. We would also like to thank the company Induma for their cooperation and our Belgian and Swedish supervisors K. Deseyne and M. Schoultz for their guidance and help.

I maj 2009 släpptes den första betaversionen av Visual Studio Team System 2010. Den innehåller en rad intressanta nyheter och funktioner som kan underlätta utvecklingsarbetet och höja den interna kvaliteten. Kvalitetsbegreppet inom mjukvaruutveckling kan delas upp i två delar: extern och intern kvalitet. Med extern kvalitet menas det som kunden ser, till exempel att rätt funktionalitet utvecklas och att den levereras i tid. Intern kvalitet handlar om processer inom företaget och det som kunden ofta inte ser eller är medveten om. Nyheter i Visual Studio 2010 har utvärderats i fokusgrupper tillsammans med rutinerade utvecklare på Medius. Den agila arbetsprocessen har utvärderats utifrån observationer, informella intervjuer samt den teoretiska referensram som ställts upp. Utvärderingarna har resulterat i ett antal riktlinjer för hur Medius kan förbättra sin interna kvalitetsprocess. Dessa rekommenderar bland annat mindre förändringar i den agila arbetsprocessen, till exempel tydligare utvärderingar och uppföljning samt introduktion av distribuerad Scrum. Riktlinjerna föreslår också införandet av verktygen kodkontrakt, incheckningsregler och gränssnittstestning i Visual Studio 2010.

CASE är en förkortning för Computer Aided Software Engineering. Syftet med CASE-verktyg är att öka produktiviteten för dem som utvecklar mjukvarusystem genom att datorisera processer i deras arbete. Det finns dock problem med CASE-verktyg. Tidigare forskning pekar på att dessa ofta är komplexa i sitt utförande, att de lätt ifrågasätts om de visar sig ha buggar och att inlärnings-tröskeln är ofta hög till följd av den höga komplexiteten. Man frågar sig också hur komponenter ska vara utformade i verktygen för att fler ska använda dem. Vidare saknas nyare undersökningar med fokusering på användbarhet för CASE-verktyg och framförallt där man utgår från användaren. Vad gäller CASE-verktyg har det skett en del begreppsbyten inom området. Ett ganska vanligt begrepp idag är IDE. Det som är inbegripet i IDE utgörs till stor del av det som räknas till CASE i de äldre texterna. I den här studien har vi valt att använda begreppet CASE-verktyg för att få en tydlig koppling till de äldre studierna. Studien avser att klargöra vilka fördelar och brister utvecklare upplever beträffande användbarhet i CASE-verktyg. Målet med studien är att bidra till en större förståelse för vad CASE-verktyg är och i synnerhet hur de bör vara utformade för att ge ett bra stöd till användaren. Då CASE-verktyg och användbarhet är begrepp med många olika definitioner kommer de teoretiska grunderna diskuteras. Den användbarhet som undersöks baseras på kriterier som kan användas för att avgöra vad som får utvecklarna att ta verktyget i bruk. I studien har vi utarbetat en anpassad definition för CASE-verktyg genom att slagit ihop två definitioner. Vidare har vi visat att det specifika verktyget Visual Studio som undersöks i studien kan klassas som ett CASE-verktyg genom att jämföra verktyget med vår valda definition för CASE-verktyg. I teoriavsnittet har vi beskrivit systemutvecklingsprocessen och systemutvecklingsmodeller för att förstå täckningsgraden hos CASE-verktyg och ge en grundläggande kunskap för att förstå den miljö som dessa används i. Två matriser med faktorer för Visual Studio och kriterier för användbarhet har använts som hjälpmedel för att kategorisera och analysera data under studiens analys. Studien åskådliggör vilket förbättringspotential ett CASE-verktyg som Visual Studio har och lyfter fram konkreta förslag på hur CASE-verktyg bör utformas för att tillgodose användares krav på användbarhet. Resultatet visar bland annat; att supporten som verktyget erbjuder bör vara stabil och stödja användarnas behov, att CASE-verktyg bör vara intuitiva och enkla att lära sig samt att dokumentationskopplingen till kompileringsfel bör vara bättre. Vidare visar resultatet att den främsta fördelen är stödet för support som ges av dessa verktyg och den främsta bristen är att versionshanteringen är svag.

This diploma thesis deals with the realization of a server application for distributed calculations programmed on .NET platform and in C # language in development environment Visual Studio 2015. The diploma thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with technologies, which are needed for implementation of the application. Here is how each technology is used and set up to serve the purpose of the master's thesis. In the theoretical part, functionality is shown in the examples. The practical part describes the layout of the application and the functionality of the individual part of the application. The architecture of each part of the application is presented in the UML class diagram.

The thesis deals with design and construction of diagnostic device for batteries. In the analysis I described and compared well known I2C bus and quite similar SMBus. The latter bus is used in the laptop batteries called Smart Battery. The design includes the USB bus, which I described briefly in analysis too. I suggested a several designs, discuss them and build the best one of them. The realization of the diagnostic device includes construction aspect and programing aspect. Both aspects are described in the thesis. At last, the results of test diagnostic of several batteries carried out by designed device are introduced.

This work is focused on cipher algorithm AES, his selection method and description of cipher blocks, possibilities of .NET framework and current implementation of AES algorithm in C#. The book also contain complete application for teaching and explanation of AES cipher.

This thesis discusses informatik systems in companies, their technologies and new trends in hardware domain, used to simplify, speed up and streamline business processes. Consequently thesis deals with the extension of an information system in a real environment, aimed to getting more detailed data, processing and subsequent evaluation to adjustable reports.

Designing and creating the finished OLAP solutions within Business Intelligence for an undertaking by the customer's requirements using standard technologies and practices that are designed for this purpose. This work describes the work of the design, creation and deployment of the finished project Business Intelligence solution that allows the customer to perform more accurate analysis of their own data in the context of controlling.

This work deals with the assessment of the current state of processing invoicing in the company Dropick, Ltd. I will create consequently the software aplication in the creative environment Microsoft Visual Studio based on the analysis and requirements of the company, which will automatize the process of invoicing. This will save not only financial, but also time requirements dedicated to this activity.
