constant sample intervals for the parameters whilst keeping within channel bandwidth
limitations. Add an extra requirement of using variable word lengths to optimise the use
of available bit rate and the problem becomes more challenging.
The available telemetry or tape recorder channel bandwidth rather than the capabilities of
the data acquisition system normally govern the amount of data that can be acquired by
the aircraft instrumentation system. The amount of data demanded usually expands to fill
all available bandwidth and the bit rates are operated at the maximum for the particular
channel. The use of variable word lengths can, in some circumstances, increase the
utilisation of a channel bandwidth.
In order to visualise if a particular requirement can be accommodated within a given data
structure a method of sketching PCM data frames containing a wide mixture of sample
rates using an intermediate matrix has been devised.
The method is described in three stages.
1. Compiling a simple PCM frame.
2. Sketching the intermediate matrix to assist in visualising super commutation limits.
3. Mixing variable word lengths and super commutation in the same PCM format.
The method is not guaranteed to be the most efficient but does give a relatively simple,
non mathematical, way to visualise if the required sample rates can be accommodated in
a given data structure. If the requirement will not fit into the data structure then the
method allows the impact of the necessary changes to the structure to be rapidly assessed.
The paper includes comments on the relevant characteristics needed in the aircraft data
acquisition system. These include variable word lengths, frame lengths, incremental bit
rates and coherency of multiple data bus word parameters

The mobile phone devices are still developing and they are gaining more functionality and are able to deal with more advanced tasks. One of the technologies timidly trying to approach the mobile phone market is the augmented reality, which does no longer require external equipment to be formed in a programming application. There is a limited number of sources trying to describe the accuracy of augmented reality applications implemented on mobile devices. Within this study an application of augmented reality visualising virtual models of buildings was implemented on a mobile phone device in order to evaluate the rate of the device explication. Several tests were conducted to evaluate the application total accuracy. The implemented application was visualising virtual models of the real existing buildings displaying them in the same place the original buildings were. The final position was calculated by the application and the discrepancy of the view between the model and the real building was measured. The results were gathered revealing the application’s real accuracy. For the purposes of this study the functional application of augmented reality has been created. The application was implemented on the mobile phone. The results of the application formed the tables with final measurements of accuracy. Also several photographs were taken from the areas of the real existing buildings. Transferring the functionality of augmented reality from the external devices to mobile phones is possible with some harm to the application accuracy. Visualising building models is one of the possible extensions of the mobile phone market. The improvements in Global Positioning System would significantly improve the application´s general accuracy. / The augmented reality represents one of the most current approach in implementing the artificial reality. Primarily required large extensive head-mounted-displays now follows the trend of minimising the necessary equipment. The study shows how is it done that a single mobile phone can be used as a device creating a new reality and also answers what calculations are required by such a system setting the augmented environment. Also a problem of mobile phone’s augmented reality systems accuracy is developed in reference to the commonly proclaimed 2-metres inaccuracy of the GPS device. / (+48) 506 403 407 (PL)

Visualising Interval-Based SimulationsPawlik, Amadeusz, Andersson, Henry January 2015 (has links)
Acumen is a language and tool for modeling and simulating cyber-physical systems. It allows the user to conduct simulations using a technique called rigorous simulation that produces results with explicit error bounds, expressed as intervals. This feature can be useful when designing and testing systems where the reliability of results or taking uncertainty into account is important. Unfortunately, analyzing these simulation results can be difficult, as Acumen supports only two ways of presenting them: raw data tables and 2D-plots. These views of the data make certain kinds of analysis cumbersome, such as understanding correlations between variables. This is especially true when the model in question is large. This project proposes a new way of visualising rigorous simulation results in Acumen. The goal of this project is to create a method for visualising intervallic values in 3D, and implement it in Acumen. To achieve that, every span of values is represented as a series of overlapping objects. This family of objects, which constitutes an under-approximation of the true simulation result, is then wrapped inside a semi-translucent box that is a conservative over-approximation of the simulation result. The resulting implementation makes for a combination of mathematical correctness (rigour), and mediation of intervals in question. It enables the user to explore the results of his rigorous simulations as conveniently as with the existing, non-rigorous simulation methods, using the 3D visualisation to simplify the study of real-life problems. To our knowledge, no existing software features visualisation of interval-based simulation results, nor is there any convention for doing this. Some ways in which the proposed solution could be improved are suggested at the end of this report

The authoritative nature of deductive preaching is mirrored by
the exploratory, "discovery nature" of inductive models, emphasizing how dialogical preaching is enhanced by incorporating inductive elements into preaching. Meaning production and levels of meaning were studied, and a hermeneutical model for Pentecostal churches were proposed.
Dialogical preaching as attitude and principle as well as method was looked at, and the role of interactive participative communication in the dialogic process was described.
Special emphasis was placed on the Parable, the metaphor and
narrative preaching as models for inductive preaching, and the
development and phases of the "plot" was examined.
Bridging models between inductive and deductive styles were
explored, while two dialogical tools for preparation of sermons

The company Solution Xperts wanted to create a system that could import and visualize Big Data. In this work a system was created and evaluated. The report shows that it can be difficult to visualize Big Data, but when a system is created it can easily be adapted to data coming from different companies and provide a lot of value to companies and organizations.
