A Methodology for Constructing the PSM of SOA System based on the IBM WebSphere PlatformLi, Meng-Fu 25 June 2011 (has links)
Service-oriented architecture (SOA) approach has become the mainstream of today¡¦s systems development technique. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is becoming the major tool for modeling the platform independent model (PIM) of a SOA system. Once the PIM is constructed, the results can then be transformed into its platform specific model based on the model driven architecture (MDA) approach and a specific platform. To develop a SOA system, the developer can then use the platform and choose the proper components to construct services and then business processes. However, the detailed guideline for this type of construction based on a specific platform is lacking. Therefore, this study presents a methodology which provides guidelines for the construction from components, service to business process for a SOA system based on the IBM WebSphere platform. The research methodology is articulated using the design science research methodology. A usability evaluation with a hypothesized case is performed to demonstrate its applicability. The results indicated that with this proposed method, the system developer can effectively use the IBM WebSphere platform to construct the business process based on the PIM of a SOA system.

There are considered modern messaging architectonical concepts SOA and EDA in this diploma thesis. There are presented the elementary principals of functioning of these paradigms and principals are given into the wider context with the business processes and IT Governance. The aim of this thesis is to compare two preselected software solutions of the operational monitoring. There is always one solution per architectonical style and predefined comparative criteria. This thesis is divided into five consequential parts. The first part is focused on the putting the modern architectures into the historical context. The historical context is the way out for the modern architectonical styles. The part afterwards is closely focused on the concepts of SOA and EDA, and also on the comparison of the mentioned architectonical styles. There are put the concepts into the connection with business processes and maturity models In the next chapters. That all together has a influence on the successful implementation and governance. The chapters continuously flow into the last theoretical part of the thesis, IT Governance. There are described all the elements connected with the successful IT systems operating based on the paradigm SOA or EDA. The context in the practical part is link to the all these previous chapters. There are selected and described two software solutions in the practical part of this thesis. These solutions are then compared by the predefined criteria. The conclusion summarizes all the knowledge acquired during the paradigm comparison and there are also summarized knowledge acquired during the comparison of selected monitoring products.

Στην παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία γίνεται η θεωρητική ανάλυση, μελέτη και κατασκευή μιας εφαρμογής ηλεκτρονικού καταστήματος (e-shop) και συγκεκριμένα μιας ηλεκτρονικής βιβλιοθήκης για τον τομέα Ηλεκτρονικής και Υπολογιστών του τμήματος Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών και Τεχνολογίας Υπολογιστών του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών χρησιμοποιώντας την πλατφόρμα WebSphere Commerce της ΙΒΜ. Αρχικά, γίνεται η εισαγωγή στις έννοιες και τις λειτουργίες του ηλεκτρονικού εμπορίου καθώς και σε αυτές της πλατφόρμας WebSphere. Στη συνέχεια, παρουσιάζεται ο τρόπος υλοποίησης της ηλεκτρονικής βιβλιοθήκης αρχίζοντας από την εγκατάσταση και παραμετροποίηση των εργαλείων που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν, αναλύοντας τον τρόπο λειτουργίας τους και τέλος κατασκευάζοντας την βιβλιοθήκη (κατάλογο προϊόντων, ρόλους χρηστών, τρόπο αγοράς-δανεισμού κ.α.) σύμφωνα με τις απαιτήσεις που είχαν τεθεί. Η διπλωματική εργασία καταλήγει με την παρουσίαση των λειτουργιών, αυτής όσο από την πλευρά του χρήστη όσο και από την αντίστοιχη των διαχειριστών, εξάγοντας στο τελευταίο κεφάλαιο τα συμπεράσματα και τις προτάσεις. / In this thesis, there is the theoretical analysis, the design implementation and construction of an e-shop, specifically an online library for the area of Electronics and Computer Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Patras using the platform of IBM WebSphere Commerce. Initially, there is an introduction to the concepts and functions of electronic commerce as well as those of the platform WebSphere. It then shows how to implement the electronic library starting with the installation and configuration tools used by analyzing how they work and finally constructing the library (product catalog, user roles, how-lending market, etc.) according to the requirements set. The thesis concludes with the presentation of functions, such as by the user and the administrators, extracting the last chapter the conclusions and recommendations.

In this diploma thesis, I focus on the application integration. Main goal of this thesis is comparison of integration platforms of the biggest vendors on the market, there are products of companies Microsoft, IBM, Oracle and SAP. I compare these products according criteria, which I had chosen. I use mainly own experiences with the products to achieve a goal. These products I compare with respect to general, technological and possibility of using point of view. My work can be as a source for decision, which of the integration platforms is optimal to use. Then I describe one of them - Microsoft Biztalk Server with simple example. The next goal of this work is to summarize the theory of application integration, where I describe the possibilities of integration's application from the simplest till the most complicated. The next goal of this work is making a methodology in Biztalk Server, which will contain concrete solutions and techniques in different situations. This methodology can help developers and analysts to make better proposals, more convenient solutions and beware of needless problems.

Autor zdôrazňuje výhody používania Cloud Computingu a otvoreného softvéru, ako aj využitie technológie Docker kontajnerov v kombinácii s komerčným softvérom ako je napr. IBM WebSphere Application Server.
