Criminal acts committed by racial, national and other hateful motives Abstract in english The dissertation thesis is focused on the issue of crimes committed by racial, national and other hate motives, which are nowadays commonly referred to as hate crimes. The dissertation thesis comprehensively elaborates the essence of the issue of hate crimes and the ideas on which this crime is based on. The thesis points to a relatively rich but very inconsistent and constantly evolving terminology and defines related terms such as extremism, racism, anti-Semitism, anti-Islamism or racial prejudice. It should be recalled that the notion of hate crime is not entirely appropriate to this issue. A closer interpretation of the individual terms is important for the correct interpretation of the relevant facts that are affected by this issue. The analysis of related criminal offenses and related case-law demonstrates what conduct these crimes may impact. We have to realize that the issue is very closely related to the constitutionally guaranteed freedom of speech and expression, and they are very closely intertwined. Research question: Three models, Z``-score, O-score and Skogsvik HCA model, will be used in this study to examine Swedish companies who has gone bankrupt over the last decade within the manufacturing and retail branches. The study will examine how these models stand against each other when it comes to predict bankruptcy within these two branches one and two years in advance. Purpose: The purpose with this study is to examine these three models that are used for bankruptcy prediction and to get an understanding of why the accuracy differs between the models when it comes to predicting bankruptcy within the manufacturing and retail branches. Method: The study is based on a quantitative method with a deductive research approach to examine the accuracy of the three models when it comes to one and two years before bankruptcy. Conclusion: The study shows that Skogsvik’s model is the most accurate when it comes to predicting bankruptcy within the manufacturing and retail branches. / Problemställning: Tre modeller, Z``-scoremodellen, O-scoremodellen och skogsviks HCA modell, kommer att användas i vår studie för att undersöka svenska aktiebolag som gått i konkurs det senaste decenniet inom tillverkningsbranschen och detaljhandelsbranschen. Studien kommer undersöka hur dessa tre modeller står sig mot varandra när det kommer till att förutspå konkurser inom tillverknings- och detaljhandelsbranschen under en prediktionstid på både ett och två år i förväg. Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka tre olika modeller som används för konkursprediktion och få en förståelse varför träffsäkerheten skiljer sig mellan de olika modellerna när det gäller att förutse konkurs inom tillverkningsbranschen och detaljhandelsbranschen. Metod: Studien bygger på en kvantitativ metod med en deduktiv ansats för att undersöka hur stor träffsäkerhet som redan befintliga modeller har vid förutsägelser av framtida konkurser på upp till två år. Slutsats: Studien visar att Skogsviks modell är den som är mest träffsäker när det gäller att förutse konkurser inom tillverknings- och detaljhandelsbranschen.

Studium antimikrobiálního efektu hroznových semen

This paper is dedicated to gathering information about utilization of Vitis vinifera L. extracts, mainly grape seed extract (GSE), production of GSE in two variants (aqueous or methanol GSE) and description of its characteristics. Extract was rich in polyphenols (13462 mg/l GAE), measured by Folin-Ciocaltel method. Also 3615 mg/l GAE of flavonols was present in GSE. Antioxidant activity measured by DPPH method was high, 7978 mg/l GAE. Disc diffusion method was used for antimicrobial activity analysis. GSE's effect was tested on five common microorganisms. Results of the experiment show that GSE strongly inhibits growth of Bacillus cereus, Candida tropicalis and Enterococcus faecalis. However, it was not effective against Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

The diploma thesis is about Study of the city park using natural materials. In the literary search, natural materials are broken down according to their properties. Unburnt clay, straw and other materials are given more space in work than wood or stone, which are generally known as materials.The materials are thus analyzed both in terms of their characteristics and history, which clarifies the reason and philosophy of their use together in the context of the chapter on sustainable development and energy balance of material. The thesis also deals with the analysis of several existing buildings and objects in parks or gardens, where it was possible to evaluate the behavior of natural materials in practice. The core part of the study of the city park in Prague near the Ďáblice Observatory is supported by a number of analyzes and graphical outputs. The proposal focuses primarily on engaging the public in the creation of a park, whose idea is to literally grow out of itself. Natural materials such as clay, wood or straw are used as the main resources.

Zhodnocení vlivu plemeníka Aristo Z v českém chovu

The main aim of this thesis was to evaluate the influence of 2997 Aristo Z stud horse in Czech horse breeding. The general database listed 357 offspring in the Czech and Slovak Warmblood Studbook, all born between 2009 and 2018. The relevant data has been collected on the websites of the Association of Czech Warmblood Breeders, Association of Slovakian Warmblood Breeders in the Czech Republic, and in the Central Register of Horses in Slatiňany. The database has been compiled manually in Mi-crosoft Office Excel 2016 and the acquired data were processed by the general linear model with the subsequent testing by the Tukey-B method, if the observed effect was proved to be statistically significant. In this process, the UNISTAT 6.5. Mathematical and Statistical Package was used. Collected data proves that stallion 2997 Aristo Z was the most favorite among the breeders in 2008. Furthermore, a comparison of stallions and mares body measurements was performed, as well as point measurements for class, type, exterior and performance in mares. It can be concluded, that from the exterior point of view, 2997 Aristo Z stal-lion has proper offspring, albeit very variable. His daughters demonstrate high class, type, exterior and performance score. When comparing his own jumping index with the indexes of his daughters and sons, he was evaluated as a worse. Furthermore, a general linear model was applied to find a statistically significant influence of year of birth and year of studbook registration to withers height stick. In this case, a statistically conclusive influence of sex on the jumping index and influence of performance points on stud-book listing has been proved. Subsequent Tukey-B testing proved that mares listed in the General studbook have statistically significantly higher performance points when compared to the mares listed in the studbook. Another Tukey-B test was aimed at the statistically significant influence of sex on the jumping index. It has been proved that mares have statistically significantly higher jumping index than stallions and geldings. All the conclusions listed above are evaluated and discussed in the thesis.

The thesis on Monitoring alkaloids in tomatoes describes a group of alkaloids and also some of them. The thesis focuses on the Solanaceae family, especially the tomato plant, tomato production, important substances and their influence on human health. The thesis presents information about tomato products and their quality which is influenced by the general material. Furthermore, separative and identification methods which can qualify alkaloids are described. In the practical part of the thesis the content of alkaloids in whole tomato plant is found out qualitatively by DESI and DART technic, the amount of the present alkaloids in unripe fruit, semi-ripe fruit and ripe fruit quantitatively by High Performance Liquid Chromatography connected with Mass Spectrometry (HPLC/MS). The volume of alkaloids in tomato juice, ketchup and tomato paste are determined.

DVOŘÁKOVÁ, V. Options for partial pension privatization of the pension system in the Czech Republic. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. This diploma thesis focuses on possible consequences of the pension system in the Czech Republic if parts of the payment contributions were opted out to privately-owned capital funds. Real data from years 1995–2015 were applied retrospectively to models to show relevant consequences. The thesis concentrates on retrieving the effective percent yield from capitalization for a person with average income. The conclusion of the thesis evaluates the option of partial pension privatization for the Czech Republic based on the calculated results from the models.

This degree project is examined through an analysis and a research overview of how internal motivation and transformational leadership can affect generation Z on the labor market. Different backgrounds and theories are also analyzed. In addition, through qualitative interviews, how the interviewers experience the feeling of competence, autonomy and relatedness. The theories used are about self-determination theory and the four “i´s” linked to intern motivation among generation Z. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of transformative leadership for the internal motivation of generation Z by interviewing and illustrating how the interviews experience the feeling of competence, autonomy and relatedness. The answer of the respondent is varied because the work role and retail companies are different and everyone has different views on the questions, all see the questions from different perspectives. Discourse that seems interesting here is about how competence, autonomy and relatedness interact and affect each other, and then linked it to internal motivation. The result shows that competence is the most important need to promote Generation z´s internal motivation. In addition, the results show that intellectual stimulation increases the feeling of autonomy which has a big impact on inspirational motivation in the retail industry. / Titel: Generation Z – En unik generation:  En studie om vad som stimulerar generationens interna motivation och hur transformativt ledarskap kan främja det? Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva det transformativa ledarskapets roll för den interna motivationen hos generation Z. Till följd av detta ska studien bidra till forskningen beträffande generation Z, motivation och ledarskap. Detta genom att förklara rollen de tre behoven autonomi, kompetens och samhörighet har för att främja den intern motivationen genom transformativt ledarskap. Därmed ska studien skapa förståelse för detta och utveckla begrepp för organisationer kring hur generation Z anställda motiveras effektivt. Metod: Forskningsansatsen i denna studie är abduktiv. Studien genomfördes som en kvalitativ studie där 8 intervjupersoner tillhörande generation Z från 8 olika företag intervjuades. Alla företag var butiker som tillhörde handelsbranschen. Utöver den empiriska datainsamlingen utfördes en litteraturstudie genom insamling av teorier från befintliga forskningsstudier och böcker.  Slutsats: Resultatet av studien visar att behovet kompetens är det som har störst betydelse. Behoven autonomi och samhörighet uppfyller en funktion i att stimulera den interna motivationen genom att de ökar känslan av kompetens hos generation Z medarbetare. Studien visar att de de fyra dimensionerna i transformativt ledarskap spelar en viktig roll i främjandet av de tre behoven och därmed att stimulera den interna motivationen hos generation Z medarbetare inom handeln.

Hur motiveras arbetsmarknadens nästkommande tillskott? : Arbetsmotivationsfaktorer hos unga i dagens samhälle - En surveyundersökning

Flertalet studier synliggör specifika skillnader beträffande arbetsmotivationsfaktorer hos skilda generationer. Organisationer vilka erkänner och åskådliggör dessa flergenerationsfrågor anses prestera bättre än de som bortser från dem. Den generation vilken senast trätt och fortsatt träder in på arbetsmarknaden har hitintills tilldelats såväl kritik som beröm. Den introducerade generationen benämns med bokstaven Z, tillhörande denna är individer födda mellan 1995 – 2009. Dessutom äntrar en större del av generationen arbetsmarknaden under en orolig tid, med syftning på Coronapandemi och det pågående kriget mellan Ryssland och Ukraina. Med hänsyn till ovanstående ämnar denna studie till att synliggöra de primära arbetsmotivationsfaktorerna hos dagens unga, fortsatt undersöka om demografiska variabler samt den oroliga nutiden påverkat dess arbetsmotivationsfaktorer. För att synliggöra detta illustrerades en referensram vilken består av tre välkända och etablerade teorier, Herzbergs tvåfaktorteori, Job Characteristics Model samt den Självbestämmande teorin. Fortsatt inkluderas tidigare relevant forskning vilka tillsammans med Herzbergs tvåfaktorteori samt Job Characteristics Model bildar referensramens 16 motivationsfaktorer. Den självbestämmande teorin bidrar med två olika motivationstyper. Slutligen inkluderas även det aktuella dagslägets potentiella påverkan. Referensramen låg även till grund för den kvantitativa enkätundersökning vilken syftade till att besvara studiens forskningsfrågor. Då studiens målpopulation är dagens unga verkade gymnasieelever som respondenter, dessa placerar sig i den senare mittpunkten av generation Z. Resultatet visar att samtliga motivationsfaktorer tillhörande referensramen betraktas som något viktiga för de undersökta, av dessa har de ytterst primära motivationsfaktorerna identifierats. Fortsatt synliggörs resultatet för de demografiska variablerna samt de aktuella världslägets påverkan på ungas arbetsmotivation. Tar dagens och framtidens ledare dessa resultat i beaktning förväntas generationens särskilda kompetenser attraheras samt bevaras inom berörda organisationer. Slutligen förväntas organisationer vilka erkänner och åskådliggör dessa unika generationsegenskaper prestera bättre än de som bortser från dem.

Employer branding on social media to engage Generation Z

Organizations compete to attract and retain top talent and differentiate themselves from their competitors; they work on employer branding strategies. This study analyzed how organizations should communicate their employer brand in social media to attract Generation Z talent. This is a qualitative research with a phenomenology design. The research technique used was the semi-structured interview. Twenty university students and graduates of business or engineering schools were interviewed; they participated on a voluntary basis. This study reveals that participants apply to an organization for the following reasons: salary, work environment, reputation, benefits, and career path. Regarding social media, the interviewees’ favorites are LinkedIn and Instagram. In relation to social media content, companies should keep in mind that Generation Z not only wants to see job offers but also to learn more about them, specifically their characteristics, as this will increase their desire to become a part of them, and in some cases, may even be decisive in accepting an offer.
