A differential equation for polynomials related to the Jacobian conjecture / A differential equation for polynomials related to the Jacobian conjecture

Valqui Haase, Christian Holger, Guccione, Jorge A., Guccione, Juan J. 25 September 2017 (has links)
We analyze a possible minimal counterexample to theJacobian Conjecture P;Q with gcd(deg(P); deg(Q)) = 16 and show that its existence depends only on the existence of solutions for a certain Abel dierential equation of the second kind.

Design of a Compact Flash Module

Jafari Harandi, Arash January 2004 (has links)

The combination of the existing mobile system and the IEEE standard for WLAN makes way for development of the 4th generation mobile systems. Access for laptop-users to WLAN is today a reality giving a taste of that new generation. Designing a product that introduces WLAN networking for handheld computers would be a major step in the development spoken of. Accommodating existing WLAN PC Card for laptops to handheld PDAs gives a short time to market. Therefore a product prototype for a compact flash module was designed and manufactured to make way for the 4th generation indoor networking facilities on the market.

______________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / In this work, we study finitely presented groups with more generators than relators. First, we consider a group having a finite presentation with at least one more generator than relators and, in this case, we prove that there is an epimorphism from this group to Z. Later, we consider a group having a finite presentation with at least two more generators than relators and, in this case, we give the proof done by Baumslag and Pride in [1] which ensure that this group has a subgroup of nite index that can be mapped homomorphically onto the free group F2 of rank 2.

In this work, firstly, based on [1] and [12], we built the Green function for the n - dimensional and 1 - dimensional case from a linear equation with boundary conditions. Based on [13], [19] and [5], We show the existence of at least a periodic solution of the Riccati equation, the existence of at least one closed, isolated and positive solution for the generalized Abel equation, and the existence of an upper bound of the number of cycles limits for some particular cases of the generalized Abel equation. Finally, based on [19] and [5], we present some applications of the results obtained from the generalized Abel equation for polynomial vector fields on the plane.
