1	Taktikröstning i svenska val : - existerar det och påverkades det svenska valet 2010 av det? / Tactical Voting in Swedish Elections : - Does it Exist and Did it Affect the Swedish General Elections in 2010? Nordqvist Bergen, Michael January 2011 (has links) The number of parties in the Swedish parliament has increased from five to eight during the last twenty years. The political agenda is still based on a two-block system with the consequences that the number of parties in each block has increased. To be represented in the parliament, a party needs at least four per cent of the total votes in the election. If only one party fails to achieve that, the whole block will lose the election to the other block. This could encourage voters to vote tactically for the small parties in the block to ensure that the block wins the election. The purpose of my essay is to study the last election to see whether or not the voters did use tactical voting as a tool to make it possible for their block to win the election. This has been done by comparing the results in the elections to the Riksdag and to those of the municipal councils in Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö. Det huvudsakliga målet är att ge en heltäckande översiktsbild av de politiska respektive juridiska ambitionerna och hindren för att röstning i svenska val skulle kunna digitaliseras helt eller delvis. Studien identifierar vilka möjligheter och utmaningar som finns i dagsläget genom en litteraturstudie. / This paper examines the prerequisites for implementing electronic voting in Sweden’s general elections by compiling policies of public organs in this area. The main goal is to give a comprehensive overview of the political and juridical ambitions or hindrances, respectively, in order to fully or partly digitise Swedish elections. 3	En röst inifrån : En kvalitativ studie av hur klienter vid svenska anstalter kan nyttja sin rösträtt vid allmänna val / A voice from within : A qualitative research of how inmates at Swedish prisons can utllize their right to vote during general elections Granath, Felicia January 2021 (has links) The purpose of this study is to examine how Swedish inmates can utilize the right to vote during their time in prison. To fulfill the purpose, the study investigates how the Swedish Prison and Probation Service arrange elections in different prisons. Interviews with representatives of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, as well as with a previous inmate, are conducted to show how the different prisons work with arranging elections and encouraging the prisoners to vote. The results are analyzed with a qualitative method. A theory of social inclusion and the right to vote as a positive right is used to analyze the data. The data shows that prisons work differently with arranging elections and most of the prison representatives thinks that there should be room for different approaches due to security level, clients and other conditions. The representatives of the prisons that participated in the study perceive the directions from the Swedish Prison and Probation Service differently which could imply a need for clearer information. The level of participation from the inmates differs, which could correlate to the efforts being done by the prison to encourage the inmates to vote. The conclusions that can be drawn from the study is that cooperation with other relevant actors is necessary to arrange elections where all inmates can participate, and that encouraging efforts from the prisons are needed to secure the inmates’ right to vote.
