A presente pesquisa propõe o estudo do fenômeno jogo para além de seu aspecto fundamentalmente humano, instituição do nosso mundo, tal qual a cultura e a sociedade. A hipótese orientadora do trabalho acena para a possibilidade de ser ele, o jogo, na forma do seu aparecimento, modo de acesso a questões cruciais da nossa existência. Prevê, ainda, a Capoeira Angola como manifestação que fornece, particularmente, um denso repertório de significações, uma cosmogonia que nos permite pensar o cosmos em sua essência, sem desprezo do que é subjetivo, o ser-no-mundo que não escapa à influência da experiência estética. Para tanto, as especulações orbitam ao redor do capoeira Geraldo, principal interlocutor do estudo reunido nas páginas seguintes. Seguindo as picadas por ele abertas, transmitidas no cotidiano vivido desde seus antepassados, apresentamos uma leitura específica de alguns dos que poderiam ser chamados fundamentos epistemológicos da Capoeira Angola. Aqueles fundamentos sobremaneira ancorados no corpo, no gesto e na experiência estética culminam com um projeto particular de entendimento do cosmos e da relação do jogador consigo mesmo e com o mundo, a partir do jogo que o joga. Do ponto de vista metodológico, dedicamos as primeiras seções da dissertação à criação de uma ambiência especulativa dentro da qual nossa hipótese é desdobrada. O exame da forma como são registrados os construtos acadêmicos ergue importantes balizas para a circunscrição do que é nomeado, também aqui, conhecimento comum. Se considerássemos lícito, apenas, o conjunto normativo das ciências humanas que, em alguma medida, reproduz aqueles das ciências duras, nosso juízo sobre a cosmogonia da Capoeira Angola fracassaria antes da demonstração dos resultados. Cientes de que nossas considerações repercutem, em igual monta, o pensamento de autores já consagrados no círculo acadêmico, fizemos reunir suas contribuições, e propusemos um espaço de desestabilização epistemológico e metodológico; uma modalidade de compreensão sensível e capaz de colocar a Capoeira Angola e autores da filosofia continental em franco debate, iguais as condições àquelas produzidas no que se quer uma produção partilhada do conhecimento, desde Geraldo, em consonância com a pesquisa há muito colocada em curso por Sérgio Bairon. / This research proposes the study of the play phenomenon beyond its fundamentally human aspect, an institution of our world, as are culture and society. The guiding hypothesis of the work beckons to the possibility of being it, the play, in the form of its appearance, a mode of access to crucial questions of our existence. It also foresees Capoeira Angola as a manifestation, which provides in particular, a dense repertoire of meanings, a cosmogony that allows us to think about the cosmos in its essence, without contempt for what is subjective and the being-in-the-world that doesn\'t escape the influence of aesthetic experience. Therefore, speculations orbit around the capoeira Geraldo, main interlocutor of the study gathered on the following pages. Following the paths opened by him, transmitted on daily life since his ancestors, we present a specific interpretation of some of what could be called the epistemological foundations of Capoeira Angola. Those foundations particularly anchored in the body, gesture and aesthetic experience culminate with a particular project of understanding the cosmos and the player\'s relationship with himself and with the world, from the game that is played. From a methodological point of view, we dedicated the first sections of the dissertation to the creation of a speculative ambience within which our hypothesis is deployed. The examination of the way in which the academic constructs are recorded raises important beacons for the constituency of what is named, also here, \"ordinary knowledge\". If considered lawful, just the normative set of Humanities that, to some extent, reproduces those of hard sciences, our judgment on the cosmogony of the Capoeira Angola would fail before the income statement. Aware that our considerations resonate, in equal mounts, the thought of established authors in the academic circle, we assembled their contributions and proposed a space of epistemological and methodological destabilization; a sensitive understanding that is able to put Capoeira Angola and authors of continental philosophy in an honest debate, in equal conditions to those produced in either a shared production of knowledge, since Geraldo, in line with the long placed in course research by Sérgio Bairon.

Esta tese é um trabalho de pesquisa teórica que discute as relações existentes entre autoria e plágio e suas implicações no âmbito da produção textual científica. O percurso teórico realizado permitiu aprofundar a compreensão e problematizar a temática destacando-se alguns núcleos de debate, sendo eles: 1)oscilações teórico-práticas entre as ideias de plágio e autoria: constatou-se que a discussão sobre o plágio precisa de uma abordagem que vá além da superficialidade pericial de identificação e punição de ladrões de palavras e ideias, mas que considere e problematize também aspectos como a necessidade de atualização do conceito de autoria e plágio; 2) especificidades do texto literário em comparação com o texto científico: embora a produção textual científica reserve algumas particularidades em relação ao texto literário, verificamos a possibilidade de integração das características comuns a ambos o que pode enriquecer a qualidade textual científica; 3) características de autoridade e responsabilidade no processo autoral: observamos que a autoria de um texto é uma forma de identidade que funciona como suporte de discursividade, o que atesta a credibilidade dos argumentos apresentados. Assim, concordamos com Foucault e reiteramos a ideia de autor como um fiador, aspecto que contribui na recuperação da finalidade da citação autoral em um texto científico; 4) distinções entre propriedade patrimonial e moral: refletimos que, com o advento da pós-modernidade e as novas possibilidades autorais, a apropriação patrimonial vem sendo alvo de críticas e questionamento seja pela forma mais rápida e fluída que as informações circulam pela internet, bem como pelo caráter público (common) do conhecimento. Consideramos que as ideias defendidas pelo commons paradigm são coerentes com os processos de circulação de ideias, que caracterizam a atualidade ao mesmo tempo em que defendem de modo procedente a concepção de que o conhecimento não é uma commodity como as outras e precisa ser distribuído de forma compartilhada. Constatamos que iniciativas exemplares neste sentido são as propostas de licenciamento creative commons e a adoção da marca de permissão Semion em obras que adotem a renúncia patrimonial; 5) as relações entre ética (leis morais) e técnica (normas e diretrizes): reconhecemos que o plágio pode ser uma falha técnica ou uma fraude ética, contudo concluímos que a condição autoral precede a ocorrência do plágio e é algo caracterizado por um ato de criação e estilo, marcado pela pessoalidade com que cada pesquisador percorre a rede de caminhos metodológicos, faz associações e estabelece implicações bem como interage socialmente. Concluímos que as concepções de plágio e autoria científica na atualidade correspondem às formas desatualizadas de entender dois fenômenos correlacionados que não podem ser mais interpretados com as categorias que precedem a revolução digital. Em nossa opinião, os estudos futuros em relação à autoria e ao plágio nos processos de produção textual científica deveriam explorar e aprofundar as reflexões e o debate sobre as correlações entre esses dois assuntos visando contribuírem para o desenvolvimento de uma conceituação atualizada sobre estes aspectos essenciais na produção científica. / This thesis is a work of theoretical research that discusses the existent relationship between authorship and plagiarism and its implications in the context of scientific textual output. The theoretical trajectory allowed to deepen understanding and to discuss the theme highlighting some debate cores, namely: 1 ) theoretical and practical oscillations between ideas of authorship and plagiarism: it was found that the discussion of plagiarism needs an approach that goes beyond the expert superficiality of identification and punishment of thieves of words and ideas, but also problematizes and considers aspects such as the need to update the concept of authorship and plagiarism; 2 ) specificities of literary text in comparison with scientific text: although scientific text production has some peculiarities different from literary text, we see the possibility of integrating common features of both, which can enhance scientific textual quality, 3) characteristics of authority and responsibility in the authoring process: we observe that the authorship of a text is a form of identity that supports discursivity which attests the credibility of arguments presented. Thus, we agree with Foucault and reiterate the idea of the author as a guarantor, which contributes to the recovery of authorial purpose of citation in a scientific text; 4 ) distinctions between moral and patrimonial property: we consider that, with the advent of postmodernity and new authorial possibilities, the patrimonial ownership has been target of criticism and questioning, whether due to the fastest and fluid manner information circulates on the internet, whether due to public nature (common) of knowledge. We believe that the ideas advocated by commons paradigm are consistent with the processes of circulation of ideas that characterize the present while defend, in a proceeding manner, the idea that knowledge is not a commodity as others and needs to be distributed in a shared manner. We found that exemplary initiatives in this direction are the proposals for creative commons licensing and adoption of Semion permission brand in works that adopt patrimony waiver; 5 ) relationship between ethics (moral laws) and technique (standards and guidelines): we recognize that plagiarism may be a technical glitch or an ethical fraud, but we concluded that the author\'s condition precedes the occurrence of plagiarism and is something characterized by an act of creation and style, marked by the personality with each researcher goes through the network of methodological approaches, makes associations, provides implications and interacts socially. We concluded that the concepts of plagiarism and scientific authorship nowadays correspond to outdated ways of understanding two related phenomena that cannot be interpreted with categories that precede the digital revolution. In our opinion, future studies regarding authorship and plagiarism in scientific processes of textual production should explore and deepen reflections and debate on the correlations between these two subjects aiming to contribute to the development of an updated conceptualization of these essential aspects of scientific production.

In the first chapter, I evaluate whether central bank’s transparency enhances the effectiveness of monetary policy. I study this question using a New Keynesian model in which firms do not observe the time-varying inflation target or monetary policy shocks. Two informational assumptions are considered: (i) firms observe the interest rate decisions only (standard assumption) and (ii) firms observe the interest rate and an idiosyncratic signal about the inflation target. Under the standard assumption, agents infer output and inflation fluctuations by realizing that other agents are acting exactly like them. That ceases to be true when agents face strategic uncertainty induced by the idiosyncratic signal. One key implication is that, in the case of a monetary contraction, greater transparency improves the inflation-output trade-off only under the second assumption. In the second chapter, for a general class of DSGE models, I show that whenever agents extract information from endogenous variables that depends directly on the underlying unobserved shock, there is a qualitative difference in the signal extraction from those variables under imperfect information and imperfect common knowledge. This difference in learning about unobserved shocks does not vanish even in the limiting case when the variance of the private signal goes to infinity. Intuitively, strategic uncertainty prevents agents from knowing other agents’ decision, despite that those actions are the same in equilibrium. This discontinuity challenges this benchmark assumption by showing the implicitly substantial knowledge about endogenous variables assumed available to agents under imperfect information. The third chapter develops a novel solution method for a general class of DSGE models with imperfect common knowledge. The main contribution is that the method allows for the inclusion of endogenous state variables into the system of linear rational expectations equations under imperfect common knowledge. One key implication is that the endogenous persistence of state variables is the same under full information and imperfect common knowledge. A primer empirical evaluation of the informational frictions suggests that the model under imperfect common knowledge explains better the expectation data but is relatively worse at explaining the macroeconomic aggregates. / Esta tese estuda as implicações da incerteza estratégica induzida pelo conhecimento comum imperfeito para modelos macroeconômicos e política econômica. No primeiro capítulo, avalio se a transparência do banco central aumenta a eficácia da política monetária. Eu estudo essa questão usando um modelo Novo Keynesiano no qual as firmas não observam a meta de inflação variável no tempo e os choques de política monetária. Duas suposições sobre a informação dos agentes são consideradas: (i) as firmas observam apenas as decisões da taxa de juros e (ii) as firmas observam a taxa de juros e um sinal idiossincrático sobre a meta de inflação. Sob a suposição padrão, os agentes inferem flutuações de produto e inflação percebendo que outros agentes estão agindo exatamente como eles. Isso deixa de ser verdade quando os agentes enfrentam a incerteza estratégica induzida pelo sinal idiossincrático. Uma implicação principal é que, no caso de uma contração monetária, maior transparência melhora o trade-off inflação-produto apenas sob a segunda hipótese. No segundo capítulo, para uma classe geral de modelos DSGE, mostro que sempre que os agentes extraem informações de variáveis endógenas que dependem do choque subjacente não observado, as extrações de sinal daquelas variáveis sob informação imperfeita e conhecimento comum imperfeito são diferentes. Essa diferença no aprendizado de choques não observados não desaparece nem no caso limite quando a variação do sinal privado vai para o infinito. Intuitivamente, a incerteza estratégica impede que os agentes conheçam a decisão de outros agentes, apesar de essas ações serem as mesmas em equilíbrio. Essa descontinuidade desafia a suposição padrão, mostrando o conhecimento substancial sobre variáveis endógenas implicitamente assumido disponível para agentes sob informação imperfeita. O terceiro capítulo desenvolve um novo método de solução para uma classe geral de modelos DSGE com conhecimento comum imperfeito. A principal contribuição é que o método permite a inclusão de variáveis de estado endógeno no sistema de equações lineares de expectativas racionais sob conhecimento comum imperfeito. Uma implicação chave é que a persistência endógena de variáveis de estado é a mesma sob informação completa e conhecimento comum imperfeito. Uma avaliação empírica preliminar das fricções informacionais revela que o modelo sob informação imperfeita e dispersa explica melhor os dados de expectativas do que o modelo de informação completa. No entanto, isso ocorre ao custo de ser relativamente pior na explicação dos agregados macroeconômicos.

No. of bitstreams: 0 Previous issue date: 2004 / The present paper has the proposal to assess the management process of complex negotiation of the 5th OMC that took place at Cancun from September 10th until the 14th , 2003. This thesis points out the problems and questions that resulted on the collapse of a possible agreement, it also suggest proposal to solve these issues. The future of OMC is uncertain and traumatic changes suffered by many countries that live under the rules of OMC shows that something at OMC will have to change, principally on the process of complex negotiation, such as the integrity of the organization to avoid having to compromise and being damaged. There were searches for answers on the analysis and assessment of the negotiation process, studying and researching the bargain positional concepts, giving full details on the negotiation process based on principIes, exploring profusely the state of art for the management of difficult conversation. This thesis also tackles the sources of conflicts and the building of coalitions such as the G20, showing the difficulty existing in the resolution of public disputes and in the use of instruments to break the impasses. We also defined theoretical instrumental, which allowed the diagnostic ofthe actual situation at OMe. It was recommend to explore the valuation of conflicts, based on justice and equitant, the best form of negotiation by principIes, of management demanding public, on the multi stakeholder dialogue and the importance of informal parallel conversation. The environment of complexity and the extensive vision that it provides to adjust the functioning of autopoietics systems. / Pretende-se no presente trabalho avaliar a gestão do processo de negociação complexa da 5ª Conferência Ministerial da Organização Mundial do Comércio em Cancún, ocorrida entre os dias 10 e 14 de setembro de 2003, no México, apontando os problemas e questões que resultaram no colapso de um possível acordo. O futuro da OMC é incerto e mudanças traumáticas sofridas por muitos países que vivem sob as regras da OMC indicam que alguma coisa na OMC terá que mudar, principalmente nos processos de negociação complexa, de forma que a integridade da organização não seja comprometida. Buscou-se respostas na análise e avaliação da gestão do processo de negociação, estudando e pesquisando os conceitos de barganha posicional, detalhando o processo de negociação baseado em princípios, explorando em profundidade o estado da arte para gestão de conversas difíceis. Dissecando a questão dos conflitos e das coalizões, mostrando a dificuldade existente na resolução de disputas públicas e no uso de instrumentos para quebrar o impasse nas negociações buscou-se estabelecer o instrumental teórico que possibilitasse aprofundar o diagnóstico da situação atual na OMC. Como recomendação explorou-se a avaliação de conflitos, com base na eficiência - teoria dos jogos-, justiça e na eqüidade, a melhor forma de negociação baseada em princípios, de gestão de público demandante, no diálogo dos multistakeholders, a importância das conversas informais paralelas, o ambiente da complexidade e a visão ampla que proporciona o enfoque do funcionamento de sistemas decisórios autopoiéticos.
