Cette étude qualitative a pour objectif d’explorer les constructions discursives de la santé, de l’obésité et du corps de jeunes femmes vivant en situation de handicap visuel. Il s’agit, entre autre, d’obtenir des données empiriques afin de développer une meilleure compréhension de la manière dont ces jeunes femmes se sentent interpellées et se positionnent au sein du discours dominant de l’obésité et/ou de discours corporels alternatifs. Des « entre-vues » ont été réalisées auprès de 20 jeunes femmes vivant en situation de handicap visuel, provenant du Québec et de l’Ontario. Les récits des jeunes femmes ont été enregistrés, transcrits et par la suite analysés par le biais d’une analyse du discours guidée par la théorie féministe poststructuraliste. Les résultats sont présentés sous la forme de trois articles. Le premier article porte sur les constructions discursives de la santé des jeunes femmes vivant en situation de handicap visuel, le deuxième article présente les constructions discursives de l’obésité des participantes et finalement, le troisième article expose les manières dont ces jeunes femmes construisent de manière discursive le « corps sain » et s’engagent dans des pratiques de santé normalisantes afin d’atteindre ce « corps sain ». De manière générale, les résultats de l’analyse thématique suggèrent que le handicap de nature visuel n’empêche pas les jeunes femmes de « visualiser » les images corporelles et les « corps gros » ainsi que de construire la santé en termes strictement corporels et comme étant de responsabilité individuelle via l’adoption de pratiques disciplinaires. L’analyse poststructuraliste a permis d’observer les positions multiples et fluides que les jeunes femmes adoptent en tant que « sujets » : à certains moments en tant que sujets néolibéraux, reproduisant sans questionner les éléments de différents discours patriarcaux dominants (i.e., obésité, responsabilité personnelle et morale envers la santé, féminité et capacitisme) mais à d’autres moments en tant que sujets « poststructuralistes » capables d’apporter un regard critique sur les discours dominants et ainsi de reconstruire la notion de santé, d’obésité et de corps sain autrement et de manière moins oppressive.

Sandvik IT Services (SITS) ambition is to provide a smooth and suitable IT environment for the whole Sandvik organization. The idea is that SITS should provide end-to-end solutions globally in an efficient manner. To ensure that they can provide this, they have to be efficient in their work. To handle problems regarding incident and support, they have a large TV screen that shows important information about different processes. The demand for the information has increased; therefore the information displayed on the screen has also increased. Today, the amount of information on the screen is too big and it makes the information difficult to read and absorb. This work will help make SITS application management more effective in the future. Through Workshops for both managers and developers, it is necessary to find out the difference of what SITS requires to diversify priority information. And also be able to view the information in a user-friendly way, a layout of the information is suggested. The result of this work is to produce a design proposal.

The aim for this bachelor thesis is to find an answer for the placement of Migration and Vendel period graves on preexisting house constructions in Sweden. The reason behind these graves being built on their respective places will be analyzed, discussed and compared with similar finds in Scandinavia, where a wide contact net had been established during this time. Different kinds of social and religious meanings and functions with the grave mounds will also be taken into consideration during the discussion and analysis. The actual findings in the graves will be not be a part of this thesis, as the aim is to focus more on the grave itself as a cultural and social symbol for the people, and the values it had, during the time period it was built.

Stipulated by oneself by every local government about the treating method of the architecture against regulations, so the uneven difference that have with people's cognition emerges on a lot of decrees, so the the decree one declares leading even more important. My deal with on architecture against regulations business present situation direct decree topic, political topic, social psychological topic, administrative execution topic these 4 aspects against now, grind and plan to analyse that proposes the following suggestion: First, decree aspect: Central according with reality is easy to breed breaking rules and regulations and must make a self-criticism and improve the affiliated decree in a large amount by local decree, improve regulation decrees, such as ' City plan of the law ', ' Building law ', ' the treating method of architecture against regulations ',etc. dealing with the architecture against regulations partly to revise. Second, political aspect: Government to check newspaper and remove to build to disobey, should give consideration to feeling, pay attention to at the same time, law 3 face, feeling and it pays attention to to be should on decree, in order to advise by oneself removing for having priority. Third, social psychological aspect: III After hoping to communicate with the people first, examine all unreasonable decrees in detail, and then strengthen the communication to declare and lead to the people and popular representative after revising. This thesis explores the ways in which selfhood is constructed and expressed in The Oprah Winfrey Show. The current debate on talk shows within Media Studies tends to cohere around two positions. On the one hand, talk shows are seen as exemplars of Trash TV in which confessions of private pain are exploited for commercial gain. On the other hand, the programmes are seen as a site of empowerment for marginalised people normally denied a voice in the public sphere. This thesis moves away from this binary by examining the cultural context in which Oprah is produced. It examines the show in the light of two distinctive, but at times, overlapping, traditions of thought in American culture in which conflicting versions of self are constructed. These two traditions are the' elite' cultural criticism, and an African American mode of thought that includes a black feminist perspective. The thesis argues that these traditions represent systematic discursive cultural practices that are available as a means through which to read the show. In the 'elite' cultural criticism, selfhood is constructed as empty, anxious, fragmented and dislocated. This version of self is the product of commercialism, commodification and image saturation and is made manifest in the popularisation of therapy. In the strand of African American thought that this thesis discusses, the self is posited as recoverable through the excavation of a personal and collective history, through story-telling, and is situated in relation to close, significant others. The thesis argues that Oprah is an ambivalent text in which both versions of selfhood are identifiable. Further, it is argued that the persona of Oprah Winfrey is the embodied site of these conflicts, acting as the conduit for the expression of a self that emerges from the clash of antagonistic forces. Thus, The Oprah Winfrey Show is used as a case study for the exploration of the ways in which contradictory cultural constructions of self combine in a carnivalesque play to produce something new. This thesis makes the case for an avoidance of the binary that marks the TV talk show debate by exploring the ambivalence that constitutes the text. This, it is argued, presents a fruitful way of thinking through the complexities of a popular cultural phenomenon such as Oprah.
