abstract: This work aims to deepen the construction of identity of the Korean-argentinian through the "koreanity" and "koreanism". Therefore, we will analyze the short story collection La peonia y su sombra (2002) in search of evidence that discover the difficult definition of the "koreanism", or the practice of Korean culture, in which the language is included. The "koreanity" is a feature based on physical traits, while the "koreanism" is defined by the use of the language and the culture. While the "koreanity" is an exogenous factor, and it is well defined, the "koreanism" is defined through cultural impressions that are more difficult to distinguish. To do this we will use the Argentine native vision to find the "koreanism" and, if necessary, will exhibit different forms of subsistence of the "koreanism" in Argentina. / Dissertation/Thesis / M.A. Spanish 2013

This immigration happened in a very concentrated way, in a time interval smaller than 50 years, between the sixties and current days. A very peculiar characteristic of this phenomenon was the quick economical growth. Another is the considerable number of Protestants among the Korean community in São Paulo. In less than 50 years, Korean were able to establish around 71 protestant churches, but only one Buddhist temple (despite of the confucionist tradition of these people) and only one catholic church in Sao Paulo. These numbers present an undoubting religious heritage in the colony. This research will analyze the role of the protestant social networks in São Paulo city and their relations with the Korean immigration from the sixties and on. The dissertation analyzes whether or not (and how) the protestant social networks favored the new-comers, including the non-legal immigrants what was quite relevant in the Korean case; and also investigates the influence these networks had in the adaptation process of the immigrants to Sao Paulo city reality. / Na cidade de São Paulo, encontramos uma população coreana de aproximadamente 40 mil imigrantes, sendo considerada a maior concentração deste grupo humano em território nacional. Esta imigração ocorreu de maneira concentrada, num intervalo de tempo menor que 50 anos, entre a década de 60 e os dias atuais. Uma característica peculiar desta imigração foi o rápido crescimento econômico. Outro aspecto a ser observado é a considerável presença de protestantes na comunidade coreana. Os coreanos que vivem em São Paulo organizaram em menos de 50 anos 71 templos evangélicos, porém somente um templo budista, apesar da tradição confucionista deste povo, e uma igreja católica no centro da cidade. Estes números apresentam, inicialmente, uma tendência religiosa protestante dentro da colônia. Esta pesquisa analisará o papel das redes sociais protestantes na cidade de São Paulo face à imigração coreana a partir dos anos 60. Vamos averiguar se e qual o suporte que estas redes sociais protestantes forneceram aos recém-chegados, incluindo os fluxos migratórios clandestinos, que no caso coreano representou um índice elevado2, e qual a influência estes fluxos tiveram nos casos de sucesso de adaptação deste povo à realidade de São Paulo.

O tema da pesquisa da presente dissertação é investigar a poética narrativa do cineasta sulcoreano Kim Ki Duk a partir dos elementos nomeados labirintos imagéticos presentes na narrativa fílmica Time (Shigan)-2006. O ponto de partida do estudo é a análise da narrativa focalizando o trânsito entre textos e os jogos de significantes no discurso amoroso e na criação de corpos orgânicos, imagéticos, simbólicos e ficcionais. Sendo assim, foram explorados os labirintos do discurso amoroso e os labirintos do corpo como os responsáveis pela formação dos labirintos imagéticos que permeiam a narrativa fílmica em análise. Ao longo do estudo do objeto híbrido— narrativa fílmica, pontuaram-se questionamentos sobre Intertextualidade, Interdisciplinaridade, Imagem, Olhar e o objeto a. Pretendo estabelecer diálogos entre Teoria Literária, Psicanálise, Antropologia, Filosofia, Estudos Intermídias e Estudos Culturais, uma vez que a narrativa fílmica do cineasta Kim Ki Duk é tecida e mediada por elementos de uma poética dos limiares, de jogos vertiginosos das imagens e de provocação dos limites da linguagem, oscilando entre a presença e a ausência de significantes. / The theme of this thesis is discuss the visual poetic in narratives of South Korean filmmaker Kim Ki Duk through elements named mazes imagistic in film narrative Time (Shigan) -2006. The starting point of the study is the analysis of narrative focusing on transit between texts and significants in love speech also in the constructions of organic bodies, imagery, symbolic and fictional. Thereby, the labyrinths of love's speech and the labyrinths of the body were exploited, as responsible for the formation of imagistic mazes that permeate the film narrative in analysis. Throughout the study of hybrid object- film narrative, some questions emerged about Intertextuality, Interdisciplinary, Image, Gaze and the object a. I intend to establish dialogues between Literary Theory, Psychoanalysis, Anthropology, Philosophy, Intermídias Studies and Cultural Studies, since the film narrative filmmaker Kim Ki Duk create elements of a poetics of the transit of images and limits of language, through oscillations between the presence and the absence of significants.

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar los aspectos de la narrativa audiovisual de las películas Snowpiercer (2013) y Parasite (2019) de Bong Joon-ho que permiten que se evidencie la diferencia de clases sociales. Este protocolo de investigación tendrá un enfoque metodológico cualitativo y se dividirá en cuatro etapas: durante la primera etapa se identificarán las diferencias sociales en la estructura narrativa de ambas películas; la segunda etapa analizará las diferencias sociales en la construcción de los personajes protagonistas y antagonistas de ambas películas; la tercera etapa se centrará en reconocer cómo las acciones de los personajes anteriormente mencionados evidencian la diferencia de clases sociales; y en la última etapa se buscará establecer cuáles son los recursos narrativos que se utilizan para revelar las diferencias de clases sociales. / The objective of this work is to analyze the aspects of the audiovisual narrative of the films Snowpiercer (2013) and Parasite (2019) by Bong Joon-ho that allow the difference in social classes to be evidenced. This research protocol will have a qualitative methodological approach and will be divided into four stages: during the first stage, the social differences in the narrative structure of both films will be identified; the second stage will analyze the social differences in the construction of the main characters and antagonists of both films; the third stage will focus on recognizing how the actions of the aforementioned characters show the difference in social classes; and in the last stage it will be sought to establish which are the narrative resources that are used to reveal the differences of social classes. / Trabajo de investigación
