The aim of the thesis is to analyse development and situation of Bavarian economics by the medium of macroeconomic indicators, to interpret up-to-date mutual economic cooperation of the Czech Republic and Bavaria and to confirm or disconfirm Czech-Bavarian cultural standards by the medium of questionnaires.

Diploma thesis describes foundation and development of state support of international trade of the Czech Republic. First chapter is contributed to importance of international trade and reasons why states should support it. Second charter characterises system of international exchange during socialism and transformation to market economy. Third chapter, describing first half years 1990s, is devoted to institutions as EGAP, CzechInvest, Czech Centres and CzechTourism. Description and evaluation of above mentioned institutions is not limited by the year 1995. It is prolonged to nowadays for complexity of provided information and convenient orientation of reader. Foundation of Czech Export Bank in 1995 and of CzechTrade agency in 1997 are mentioned in fourth charter. The most recent stage of development being after 2000 year is described in charter number five.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to determine the market value of the company O2 Czech Republic a. s. in time when was company acquired by PPF group (31.12.2013). The aim is evaluate deal in relation to expect rentability of this investment, in relation to shares market price and in relation to other similar transactions on communication market. Thesis include the valuation itself as well as the financial and strategic analysis. On this base is create financial plan on years 2014 - 2018. The actual valuation is performed using methods DCF Equity method, market valuation, and by comparable transactions method. In conclusion are evaluate deal conditions and impact on company business in the future.

The topic of the dissertation is the communication of the deaf in written Czech. The theoretical part presents the studies of written Czech for the deaf which have been carried out in the Czech Republic so far, considers the causes of difficulties the deaf encounter when making Czech written texts, and deals with the position of written Czech in the education of the deaf. The next part is devoted to the Czech sign language, the characteristics of its specifics and its role in the communication and education of deaf pupils, especially in connection with the currently valid legislation. Attention is also focused on the components and construction of narrative texts and on the acquisition of narrative competencies in spoken and sign languages. The research part is focused on the qualitative analysis of narrative texts in Czech, the authors of which are deaf pupils of two primary schools for the hearing impaired aged 14 to 16, and which were created on the basis of a picture story. As part of the analysis of written narratives, attention is focused on the specific features which make the written texts of the deaf different from the texts written by hearing Czechs. The subject of the thesis is the Czech reception of works by French author François Mauriac. Providing a complete overview of prose translations, the thesis analyses the development of Czech critical reflection over the course of a century, focusing on both the epitext and peritext (Genette, 1987) of the editions. The second part of the thesis consists of a translatological analysis of the 1927 novel Thérèse Desqueyroux and two Czech translations, resulting in a verdict regarding the possible publication of a new edition of the translation analysed, i.e. re-edition recommendations, the description of necessary editorial changes, or a proposal for a new "generational" translation. The aim of the thesis is to present the portait of forming, development and forms of the Czech catholic liturgics from the standpoint of original works written in the Czech language by Czech authors in the territory of the Czech lands prior to the Second Vatican Council. On the basis of the bibliography of Czech liturgics (licentiate thesis), the project of the developmental tendency of this theological discipline is demonstrated, specifically in two independent courses - clerical liturgics and lay liturgics. The thesis further focuses on educational institutions and the position of liturgics within the study curriculum. It presents the history of the Czech catholic liturgics as a component of the history of the Czech catholic theology and in the context of general and Czech ecclesiastical history. The thesis is an analysis of the roles of Czech women within the family structure, as influenced by social and welfare policies. The primary goal of the thesis is to examine social and welfare policies implemented during the communist rule against the changes made in the in the transition to the democratic state after 1989, and evaluate what impact they have had on women. Individual policies regarding housing, childcare, parental leave, pensions, education, reproductive rights and women's role in employment are studied both before and after 1989, and compared with the changing roles of women in the family. Themes in the study include the cultural expectation of women to remain in the household as primary caretakers of children, the rapid advancement of women within education and employment, and the influence of policies over the maintenance of family and fertility.

Das Impulsreferat stellt eine Initiative für gemeinsame Aktivitäten von Hochschularchiven und Archiven wissenschaftlicher Institutionen in der Tschechischen Republik vor. Der Beitrag konzentriert sich auf die Umstände der Einrichtung einer Fachgruppe der Spezialarchive innerhalb der Tschechischen Archivgesellschaft und ihrer fachlichen Aktivitäten, die sich aus der Vorbereitung eines neuen Archivgesetzes auf nationaler Ebene ergaben oder die internen Bedürfnisse dieser Archive widerspiegelten. Darüber hinaus wurde eine Gruppe von Hochschul- und Wissenschaftsarchiven und deren Spezifizierung vorgestellt. Die aktuellsten Themen, mit denen sich diese Gruppe derzeit beschäftigt, sind als Anregung für die nachfolgende Diskussion festgelegt. Am Ende des Beitrags sind die wichtigsten Schlussfolgerungen aus der Diskussion zusammengefasst. / The opening paper presents an initiative for collective activities of the university archives and archives of scientific institutions in the Czech Republic. The paper focuses on the circumstances of the establishment of a specialized archives professional group within the Czech Archival Society and its professional activities, resulting from the preparation of a new Czech Archival Act, or reflecting the internal needs of these archives. Furthermore, a professional group of the university and scientific archives and its specification is presented. The most current topics that this group is currently dealing with is identified as an incentive for the subsequent discussion. At the end of the paper, the most important conclusions from the discussion is summarized.

Use of the monetary instruments of the Czech National Bank Abstract The aim of the thesis is to chronologically analyze the use of the monetary instruments of the Czech National Bank with emphasis on the issue of changing the primary objective of our central bank in the legislation order and answer the question whether there was a change in the use of the monetary instruments of the CNB or not. The thesis uses mainly descriptive method, analytical method, and comparative method. The sources of this thesis are mainly professional economic publications (professional articles, textbooks), legal regulations, including the case law of the Constitutional Court, and freely available data listed on the website of the CNB or the website of the Czech Statistical Office. The first chapter of my thesis defines the term "Monetary Policy". It theoretically analyses the basic types of the monetary policy and functions. BEAUDUIN, Adrien. Old Master, New Neighbour: Putin's Russia in the Czech Foreign Policy Discourse. Master thesis. Charles University, Faculty of Social Sciences, Insitute of International Studies. Supervisor Dr.Jiří Vykoukal, 2013. Abstract The return to democracy in Central-Eastern Europe (CEE) and the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991 did not mean that CEE-Russian relations could start anew. This dissertation uses post-structuralist discourse analysis and takes the case of the Czech Republic to examine the development of the Czech official foreign policy discourse towards Russia between 2001 and 2009. Looking at the history of opinions on Russia in the Czech lands and analyzing five events or periods of the 2000s, the present works tracks the evolution of the Russia's identity as constructed by the official Czech discourse. On the official level, the influence of Russia's image on the construction of the Czech identity is also analyzed. The results showed a worsening of relations after 2006 and suggest that the image of the 'Russian threat' has not disappeared from the political discourse in the Czech Republic. Moreover, the Czech official foreign policy discourse constructed the image of the Czech Republic as anchored in its Euroatlantic and European orientation.
