Zdichová, Lucie January 2018 (has links)
This dissertation deals with the contribution of contemporary composer educators to the development of childrenʼs musicality. In the first chapter it touches on the theme of important pedagogical representatives in Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia in the 17th to 19th centuries, and briefly stops at our nation's teacher, Jan Ámos Komenský. The following chapters contain a questionnaire and the treatise on the life and educational activity of contemporary Czech composers and educators Eduard Douša, Emil Hradecký, Milan Dvořák, Jiří Pazour and Tomáš Sýkora. The main source of my information was a personal interview with each one. The goal of my work was to outline the key influences of music teachers on the child's spiritual and emotional development from the 17th century to the present and to answer the question "What personality features can be a positive influence on music students of any age?". Financování politických stran: mezinárodní komparace / Political Party Funding: an International Comparison

Bejdák, Matěj January 2019 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to identify significant weaknesses of political party funding system in the Czech Republic, and to suggest possible improvements of the system. Knowledge acquired in the first part of the thesis, which deals with the theoretical basis of political party funding, is used to analyse the applicable legislation. This part of the thesis first of all describes the legal framework of political parties, the principles and goals of political party funding, and possible approaches to the funding; the most space is devoted to one of the possible approaches, regulatory measures, which is divided on the basis of supply side (state a private funding) and demand side (mainly campaign spending regulation). The Czech legislation is not only analysed in general and using the theoretical basis, but is also compared with the system adopted by the Federal Republic of Germany. The hypothesis is that the German law is a good example for the Czech Republic in the field of party financing, for the Federal Republic of Germany has been a developed democratic state of law for a longer uninterrupted period of time, and was one of the first countries in the world to introduce state funding of political parties. The second part of the thesis describes, analyses and compares the applicable legislation of the...

Pojetí trestného činu v českém trestním zákoníku / The concept of a criminal offence in the Czech criminal Code

Pačesová, Anna January 2019 (has links)
I Abstract This diploma thesis focuses on the matter of the concept of a criminal offence in the Czech Criminal Code, as one of the major issues within criminal liability. The year 2009 brought the new Czech Criminal Code and with it also a few changes. One of the most discussed ones was the transition from material or material- formal concept of a criminal offence to a formal concept of a criminal offence. Thanks to the simultaneous introduction of the principle of subsidiarity of criminal repression, as a substantive correction of criminal lawlessness, this formalized concept has become a more of a materialized formal concept. So suddenly, there are two corrections of criminal lawlessness, the substantive one, as mentioned, and also a procedural correction based on the facultative option of the prosecutor to terminate the prosecution for reasons of ineffectiveness. The opinions on the matter of the necessity of both of the corrections in Czech criminal law differs among criminal law experts. That is also why I presented them in contrast and evaluate them at the end of the thesis. This thesis strives to describe and summarize the problem of the concept of crime to be as comprehensive as possible, so it is divided into four main parts, which are logically connected to each other and each of them is divided...

Normalizační kinematografie v současném televizním vysílání / Normalization-era cinematography in Czech current television broadcasting

Jabůrek, Václav January 2019 (has links)
There are lots of studies about normalization cinematography, its content or historical context of its creation. But there was no research about its presence in post-communist television broadcast in the Czech Republic. This work takes a look on five biggest TV channels - ČT1, ČT2, Nova, Prima and Barrandov - in eight chosen years between 1994 and 2015. Content analysis shows, how are Czech televisions dealing with movies and series from communist era, and whether there are any long-term trends connected with this genre. Thanks to the research method, we can see how the usage of those titles has developed up to present. Study also focuses on programmes during weekends and holidays and the amount of normalization movies on these occasions. One part of this work is dealing with communist propaganda and its presence in current broadcast. As Harald Welzer's studies show, old movies are hugely affecting people's understanding of historical events. Therefore, this survey focuses on Czechoslovak movies, which are falsifying modern history such as TV series Thirty Cases of Major Zeman or comedy Bourlive vino. Apart from those cases, less propagandistic movies have also been examined. For example those showing idealized image of normalization society and values of the former regime.

The exile experience : Hungarian and Czech Cold War refugee artists in Britain

Kiss-Davies, Adriana January 2011 (has links)
This study is an investigation of the life and work of émigré artists who arrived in Great Britain as refugees after the 1956 revolution in Hungary and after the crushing of the Prague Spring in 1968. The artists selected for examination represent different aspects of cultural production and range from painters through graphic artists and designers to film-makers. The work of these artists is discussed in the wider cultural, social and political context of Cold War Europe. The human aspect, that is, the way in which exile affected individual artists and their lives and altered their perception and artistic output, is a central thread of the thesis. Other key issues that are considered include: the relationship between art and politics, exile and identity, cultural exchange and issues of communication with a foreign audience. The main argument is based on the analysis of selected artworks created in exile and the thesis is structured around eight case studies which explore specific aspects of the uprooted experience in the context of artistic creativity in exile. The major themes which the case studies focus on are: questions of identity and loss in the films of Robert Vas, the feeling of dislocation and alienation in György Gordon’s self portraits, the problems of artistic acceptance in the context of the career of cartoonist Edma, the transposition of Hungarian landscape painting traditions into English art by Gyula Sajo, the origins and artistic benefits of Josef Koudelka’s wandering existence, forms of Czech Functionalism in Eva Jiricna’s architectural designs, nostalgia and memory in the paintings of Jiri Borsky and Jan Mladovsky’s conceptual explorations of Eastern and Western cultural identities. The case studies are used to identify common artistic, philosophical and theoretical threads which connect the visual responses of the examined artists to the wider subject of art in exile.

Somatické frazémy v turečtině a češtině / Somatic Phrasemes in Turkish and Czech

Michálková, Kateřina January 2019 (has links)
This master thesis deals with "somatisms" (i.e. names of human body parts) in language. It uses the example of two distant and unrelated languages - Czech and Turkish - to explore conceptualization of human body and its parts in phraseology, and possible differences that may occur across languages and cultures. This thesis consists of two key parts: a quantitative comparison and a qualitative comparison. In the first part, the frequency of individual somatisms and respective words is measured and compared in phraseology of both languages. The second part is a qualitative analysis of head - the most frequent somatism in both Czech and Turkish. The analysis and comparison are based on the perspective of cognitive linguistics, more specifically on the approach called "linguistic picture of the world" and related "profile theory".
