This thesis focus on ethical issues within documentary filmmaking in the largest broadcasting institution in Denmark. It is a case study of the documentary serial Generation Hollywood, produced by Danmarks Radio (DR) in 2016. DR has produced many documentaries, using same style and format as in Generation Hollywood. But something is different with this one, and the thesis aims to find out why this one stands out, from the presumption that ethical issues are involved. It examines the participants’ motives and expectations, DR’s intentions and how ethical issues affected the final product. In the attempt to understand the complexity of ethics, a small sample of interviews are conducted and analyzed and presented together with a partial content analysis. The notions of truth, authenticity, and representation are applied as the theoretical framework to understand: not merely ethical procedures, but underlying feelings possessed by the participants.The thesis brings to light that ethical issues are not only embedded in already established procedures but also caused by unforeseen circumstances and participants’ motives in relation to the project. The research shows how ethical issues affect the final representation, especially concerning authenticity. It also shows how a discrepancy between intentions and expectations, and the understanding of truth (in its start-up phase) impacts the process. Furthermore, it concludes that entertainment demands and modern technology can affect how filmmakers treat people when representing them and it explains how the line between the modern ‘everyday life’ documentary and Reality TV is seemingly blurred.

En global pandemi uppstod under tidigt 2020 där Covid-19 spred sig fort över hela världen. Länderna var tvungna att ta till sig åtgärder för att bromsa antalet smittade och dödsfall. En ny typ av åtgärd som kallas för Lockdown infördes där regeringarna valde att stänga ner samhället helt. Sverige har dock tagit en mer passiv metod och förlitat sig på medborgaransvaret. Uppsatsen syfte är undersöka beslutsfattningar och implementering av åtgärder i Sverige, Norge, Finland och Danmark. Förstahandsdata samlades in från regeringarnas hemsidor och statistik från World Health Organization. Kombinera vetenskapliga artiklar, tidningsartiklar och Oxford University stränghetsmätning. Implementeringsteori och Foucault govermentality används som teori för att luckra upp förklaringsfaktorer bakom strategierna. Metoderna teoriprövande och komparativmetod används för att jämföra ländernas strategier och för att analysera data med hjälp av teorierna. Sverige valde en passiv strategi berodde på att de vill även minimera ekonomiska och sociala kostnader, dessutom vill Sverige sätta in endast åtgärder vid rätt tillfälle, vilket kräver goda kunskaper och utvärdering av situationen. Trots att stora skillnader i början av pandemin närmade länderna varandra vid senare tillfällen när det gäller implementering av åtgärder. I jämförelse av strategierna och statistiska siffor kan inte några direkta anknytningar fastställas gällande hård nedstängning och mindre smittade/dödsfall. Studiets resultat har öppnat en ingång till vidare forskning om nordiska coronastrategierna och speciellt fallet med den svenska coronastrategin.

I denne opgave undersøges diskursen hos lærere og ledere i forbindelse med lærerkonflikten i Danmark i 2013. Med en diskursanalytisk tilgang inspireret af Chantal Mouffe og Ernesto Laclau undersøges lederartikler i fagbladene Plenum og Folkeskolen før, under og efter konflikten. En analyse af den retoriske situation og et særligt fokus på metaforer, som udtryk for såkaldte strukturelle landskaber, supplerer den diskursanalytiske metode. I en sammenfattende diskussion af analysens resultater vurderes forskellige udtryk for hegemoni indenfor diskurserne. Hvor skolelederne tydeligt skelner mellem skolereform og overenskomstforhandlinger gør lærerne det ikke. Lærernes og skoleledernes forskellige diskurser forholder sig ikke direkte antagonistisk til hinanden, men skaber til gengæld basis for en fremtidig selvstændig organisering for lederene udenfor Danmarks Lærerforening. / This study examines the discourses of teachers and principals regarding the teacher’s conflict in Denmark 2013. The methodological approach inspired by Chantal Mouffe and Ernesto Laclau examines editorials published by the unions (Danmarks Lærerforening and Skolelederforeningen) before, during and after the conflict. Furthermore metaphorical concepts and the rhetorical situation are subjects of analysis. Finally the results of the analysis are discussed in regard to aspects of Mouffe and Laclau´s theories on hegemony.

Security Council resolution 1325 (2000) is about women, peace and security. Since the resolution was adopted several countries has made their own National Action Plan for implementation of the resolution. Sweden and Denmark are two of these countries. Resolution 1325 is one of the documents that each countries armed force has to relate to in international work. These countries can get to work together in international operations within the framework of the Nordic Defense Cooperation, NORDEFCO. This study is done by looking at similarities and differences in the action plans and whether they can be an obstacle for the countries to cooperate in an international operation. In this paper a comparative analysis of Sweden and Denmark's plans for the Security Council resolution 1325 will be done. The comparison is made based on the clauses of the resolution relating to the member states actions. In this paper, a qualitative text analysis to be carried out with sections of Resolution 1325 as a model for the comparison. / Säkerhetsrådet resolution 1325 (2000) behandlar kvinnor, fred och säkerhet. Flertalet länder har efter att resolutionen antagits skrivit egna handlingsplaner för resolutionen. Två av dessa länder är Sverige och Danmark. Det är också ett av de dokument som den svenska och danska försvarsmakten har att förhålla sig till vid internationellt arbete som rör kvinnor, fred och säkerhet. Inom ramen för Nordiskt försvarssamarbete kan länderna komma att arbeta tillsammans i internationella insatser. I denna uppsats görs en komparativ analys av Sverige och Danmarks handlingsplaner för säkerhetsrådets resolution 1325. Jämförelsen görs utifrån de paragrafer i resolutionen som rör medlemsländernas handlande. Syftet med uppsatsen är att jämföra två av länderna som ingår i Nordiskt försvarssamarbetets handlingsplaner, med resolution 1325 som modell. Detta görs genom att titta på likheter och skillnader i handlingsplanerna och om dessa kan vara något hinder för länderna att samarbete kring resolutionen vid eventuella gemensamma insatser. I uppsatsen kommer en kvalitativ textanalys att genomföras med paragrafer från resolution 1325 som modell vid jämförelsen. Uppsatsen behandlar även hur handlingsplanerna blivit till och förklaras genom John W. Kingdons teori multiple streams model för att förstå hur en policy och i detta fall en handlingsplan blir till.
