This volume is a sequel to Volumes 4 and 17. All three volumes list articles and photographs in the Leipzig Mission's main journal relating to what are now northern Tanzania and southern Kenya, where the Mission worked. This volume covers the years 1906-1910.

This working paper series is open to all topics relating to the description, comparison and typology of African languages, socio- and ethnolinguistics, and literatures particularly in African languages. Documentations of new or hitherto unpublished data from African languages are also invited.

Hierzu führe ich zunächst die theoretischen Grundlagen meiner Überlegungen ein. ... Im zweiten Teil meiner Arbeit schließt sich die Analyse existierender Lehrplaninhalte in Sachsen verschiedener Schulformen und -fächer an, die relevant für die Betrachtung des Kolonialismus und für die Einführung postkolonialer Kritik sind. Hier versuche ich einen Überblick über die gemäß den Lehrplänen tatsächlich zu vermittelnden Aspekte in der Betrachtung des Kolonialismus als historische Epoche und seinem ideologischen Fortwirken bis in die Gegenwart anhand der Fächer Geografie, Gemeinschaftskunde und Geschichte nachzuzeichnen. Diese ausgewählten Lernbereiche werden im weiteren Verlauf einer Diskussion anhand expliziter und impliziter Anknüpfungspunkte unterzogen, die eine postkoloniale Kritik beinhalten beziehungsweise diese erfordern.

This volume describes the records of a Protestant missionary society originally based in Schleswig-Holstein, which sent three missionaries to what is now northwestern Tanzania in 1912. They founded three mission stations in the Uha-Ujiji region and continued to work there – with relatively little success – until taken prisoner by Belgian troops in 1916.

This volume describes written archival material relating to what is now southern Ghana (formerly the Gold Coast) in the Basel Mission holdings of Mission 21. It covers mainly the period 1828- 1914, but also includes some more recent material.
