EEG responses to shamanic drumming. Does suggestion of trance state mediate the strength of frequency components?Konopacki, Mateusz January 2016 (has links)
One of the techniques used to induce trance state in shamanic ceremonies is monotonous drumming. According to previous EEG research, certain patterns of drumming cause an increase in power of alpha and theta frequencies of the listener. Present study aimed to determine, if suggestion to experience trance state could increase the relative alpha and theta amplitude and the intensity of experienced state. A group of twenty-four subjects participated in the study. Suggestion to experience trance state decreased alpha frequency power during the drumming condition. No other significant effects of suggestion or drumming were found.

Second. With the analytic approach of the level (analytic hierarchy process, AHP) as research approach, set up not influencing not organizing staff of suggestion system not to be participated in weight of factor of ways on through being systemic than, offer the reference that the industry or the organization promote the suggestion system .
On the research approach , put in order and probe into literary composition surface and factor suitable for this research theme through documents first in this research, set up AHP and study the structure according to this, and then and then study the structure through AHP that expert's interview , enterprise view and emulate and participate in the motion system practice education and training among the workshops to revise and establish this research, then set up expert's questionnaire in accordance with AHP law, coaching advisor and lecturer and enterprise suggestion system pusher correlated with the system of the motion carry on questionnaire investigation, and then set up comparative matrix in pairs in accordance with AHP law after the questionnaire is retrieved , and use AHP ' Expert Choice 2000 ' to make policy and support the application software, screen the effective questionnaire, calculate a advisor group and assay its consistency with one group of weights of every level of AHP expert's questionnaire feedbacked of industry. The influence of imagery, timing, and individual differences on the accuracy of children's recall /Melnyk, Laura Ellen January 2002 (has links)
Six studies were conducted to examine the influence of various cognitive and social factors underlying children's suggestibility. In Study 1, a misinformation paradigm was used to assess if the addition of visual information to verbal reminders increases preschool children's accurate and inaccurate recall of an experienced event. The results showed that the presentation of pictorial information with verbal reminders increased children's susceptibility to misinformation; however, generation of guided visual imagery produced the same misinformation effects as simple verbal reminders. Study 2 examined the influence of guided visual imagery on kindergarten and grade 3 children's reports of an entire event. Children were interviewed three times about a true and false event. Half of the children were given guided imagery instructions the other half were asked to think about the events. The kindergartners were more susceptible to false event creation than the third-graders. Guided imagery did not increase the rate of false reporting, but the kindergartners who formed visual images of the false event included more false details in their false reports. Studies 3a and 3b examined the effects of timing and repetition of suggestive interviewing on kindergarteners' recall. The results showed that repetition of misinformation only increased suggestibility when the misinformation was temporally close to both the event and memory test. The long-term consequences of suggestive interviewing were assessed in both Studies 1 and 3a. The relative misinformation and facilitation effects were unchanged when the children were re-interviewed approximately five months after the initial memory test. Studies 4a and 4b examined the association between psychosocial and cognitive variables and interrogative suggestibility (Study 4a), susceptibility to misinformation (Study 4a), and false event creation (Study 4b).
