1 Abstract The diploma thesis handles the theme of didactics of Christian ethics as a school subject with a focus on four-year grammar schools and secondary schools. The syllabus of the thesis is organized the way to give a systematic overview of the issue, therefore the first chapter is dedicated to define the basic concepts which are the gateway for understanding what the Christian ethics is and what it is pursuing. The following chapters give a comprehensive view of the subject didactics as a school subject named Christian Ethics. The fifth chapter presents the Decalogue as the basic methodological text of catechesis, which is also an explicit text for Christian ethics. Each of the commandments is demonstrated by its overlapping to the present as we can see on possible ethical topics for teaching. The final six chapter presents a model of three lessons that can be used within the lectures. The chosen topics represent the specific areas which I currently see as problematic, specifically The value orientation of a person; Respect for nature; Partnership and sexuality from the point of view of Christianity.

This diploma thesis deals with the use of arranging plants in class at elementary schools. The theoretic part explains basic terms related to the floristy and gives some basic information on materials, tools and plant materials. Next chapters deal with characteristics of plants materials used in school lessons and brief characteristic styles of arranging. Next chapters are important because they deal with the creativity and esthetics and show the influence on students development. The pratical part uses the science didactis tests to find how effective the work of a teacher and teacher´s learning at an elementary school can be.

Diploma thesis called ?Poster communication and its didactical potential in art education? examines practical procedures of art techniques used in an art education at a university. Theoretical part of the thesis deals with a didactical material in an art education which is connected with a visual aspect of posters in present and past. Practical part of the thesis include creation of five graphical posters for university students who use those technics. These posters can be also used by teachers in art education.

The thesis is about the issue of inclusion regional history into teaching at the second grade of elementary school. It is focused on didactic value of regional history and geography of local region, needs of cooperation between school and local community and possibility of cooperation between history and geography in studying regional topics. Example of studying regional history is shown at the area of Uhlířské Janovice. There is a closer look at this region from historical and geographical point of view. The thesis includes the list of literature and other sources which may be used to get more information about this region. It also contains results of empirical investigation, which discover the degree of regional identity of population of Uhlířské Janovice area. The final part of the thesis suggests methodological materials focused on teaching regional topics, which are based on facts of Uhlířské Janovice area.

The topics of this diploma thesis are dictations and orthographic exercises within didactics of the Czech language. The thesis consists of theoretical part, which contains a definition of the term didactics of Czech language, its inclusion among the other fields of science and their relationship. In this part of the thesis, I also focus on orthography, which includes dictation. The core of the theoretical part is characteristics of dictation, principles of dictated text and evaluation and classification of a written dictation. A part of the thesis is also a chapter dealing with specific learning disabilities. The practical part of this diploma thesis is dedicated to the analysis of textbooks of Czech language and orthographic publications. Detailed description of each particular dictation focusing on punctuation is presented in this part. At the end of the thesis is a brief summary and evaluation of the analysis of individual types of dictation and alternatively orthographic exercises.

The present Master's thesis is concerned with the issue of implementation health education as a part of school subject called Biology at a chosen primary and secondary school. The aim of the thesis is to verify the functionality of curriculum implementation at the chosen school and also to propose a right model of implementation health education as a part of Biology easily applicable from own teaching experience. The thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part deals with a brief characterization of education in the Czech Republic, The Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education and relating significant terms, School Education programme and educational areas. The practical part is focused on real situation of implementation health education as a part of Biology at the chosen primary and secondary school where I work as a teacher. I was doing my research in Year eight and nine that is given health education lessons. I used a knowledge questionnaire as a method of research. The practical part investigated and brought aggregate information about the issue of implementation of given fields of education, which I used for my own project. This dissertation includes solved problems of the 17th - 19th year of the South Bohemia correspondence mathematical competition (1996-1999). These tasks can be used as material for next work with similar types of exercises. They are suitable especially for students at secondary schools.

The diploma thesis covers points, line segments, lines and half-lines, angles, circles, triangles and their teaching through computers and interactive whiteboards. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The first one covers motivation for learning, constructivism, evaluation of teaching materials and interactivity in school environment. The practical part contains worksheets for teaching with an interactive whiteboard created by the author of the thesis and their use in Year Six of primary and lower-secondary schools. In the conclusion the author mentions his observations gained during his own teaching practice.
