Didaktika výuky hyperbolických funkcí pro střední školy / Didactics of teaching hyperbolic functions for secondary schools

Kokeš, Dalibor January 2015 (has links)
It is very unlikely to see at Czech high school in mathematics classes teaching the hyperbolic functions and their inverses. It's a pity, this could be a great opportunity to review and refresh the polynomial, rational, trigonometric and exponential function methods and skills. These functions even set an implicit connection between the exponential and gonio- metric functions, too. The aim of this thesis is to offer an alternative to the usual practice at the ordinary high schools and it is adopted to a limited schooling time available. Our approach has been successfully tested with a group of students at a small high school in the Czech borderland. The thesis also indicates the potential to expand this approach if more schooling time should have been available or more talented students should have been involved.

Geoinformatika ve středoškolském kurikulu / Geoinformatics in secondary school's curriculum

Král, Luboš January 2015 (has links)
This thesis is focused on the use of geospatial tools in secondary schools in Czech republic. Subject of study are mainly Geographic information systems (GIS) and Remote sensing and their implementation into secondary school curricula. Aplication a research in this area is in the centre of interest of IGU. Previous works showed, that GIS has great potential to contribute to effective learning of geographic concepts, knowledge and GIS can be a tool for display, inquiry and analysis in problem based learning. The main goal is to explore the current state of geoinformatics involvement in teaching in secondary schools and to identify how to develop this condition at all levels of the curriculum (intended, implemented and attained). In order to achieve this general objective in thesis are chosen for each level of curriculum following goals: 1) At the level of intended curriculum we are dealing with two questions: At first, how is geoinformatic's topic presented in national's curriculum of a selected countries. At second, which geoinformatic skills should be acquired by secondary school's students. The main method is content analysis of documents. 2) At the level of implemented curriculum we try to provide findings regarding the current state of proliferation of the GIS software at Czech grammar schools...

Strukturální matematika na střední škole / Structural Mathematics in High School

Beran, Filip January 2017 (has links)
What exactly can we understand by "structural mathematics"? Mathematical structures was a concept which dominated images of mathematics of the twentieth century. It was followed by an effort to transpose the work of Nicolas Bourbaki and his contemporaries into high school education. Progress and results of so-called "modernization of school mathematics" were often received with criticism and hesitation. Using didactical-mathematical concepts of constructivism, languages of mathematics and their various representations and instrumental realism we analyze the principal reasons of that failure. Concurrently we show how it is possible to revive its teaching by broader conception of "structuring" in mathematics. So from mathematical structures we gradually pass to structural mathematics.

Měkkýši buližníkových suků v CHKO Křivoklátsko a jejich využití ve výuce / Molluscs of Boulder Sites in Křivoklátsko PLA and Their Use in Education

Kebert, Tomáš January 2017 (has links)
The work deals with molluscs as specific inhabitants of boulder sites in southern part of Křivoklátsko PLA. It discusses related questions and information sources connected with nature protection. The thesis describes molluscs as generally lesser known, but diverse group of animals with variety of ecological requirements. It shows the results of malacozoological site research performed using collection of leaf litter samples and compares them to previous works. It also examines how the topic could be incorporated in education. The work emphasizes the ecology of molluscs, whose knowledge can facilitate contextual thinking about various organisms and also is not confined to a narrow scope of biology. The thesis discusses various means of education and describes a general proposal of excursion to the place of interest. Keywords gastropods ecology excursion nature protection didactics

Kurikulum odborné němčiny na vysoké škole ekonomického zaměření -- teorie a praxe / Currciculum of foreign language for special purpose at universities with economic focus – the theory and practice

Jeřábková, Petra January 2016 (has links)
The knowledge of foreign languages has always been inseparable part of education and a part of spiritual wealth of every human being. At present, it also becomes one of the conditions for employment and success of university graduates on labour market, the precondition of which is a correctly assembled curriculum of a foreign specialized language both in its cultivation and qualification part. The goal of this dissertation is to on the one hand examine significant features of our presence which have influence on cultivation component of curriculum in particular, and examining the requirements of practice which determine its qualification component. From the synthesis of conclusions of both parts, we formulate recommendations for assembling specialized foreign language curriculum for universities of economic focus on a specific case of the curriculum of specialized German at University of Economics, Prague. We define the notion curriculum in theoretical part and we deal with curriculum from synchronic and diachronic aspect. Hermeneutical approach examines its social determinants. Furthermore we deal with current problem of special methodologies, which touch upon the addressed problem: methodology of tertiary education, methodology of foreign languages, methodology of German and methodology of specialized German. In conclusion of the theoretical part, space is devoted to language policy in Czech and European context and we summarize current state of solution of our research problem. In the research part, we deal with the qualification part of curriculum by means of empirical research of University of Economics, Prague graduates focused on the analysis of current demands of labour market on the knowledge of and the comparison of these requirements with the existing curriculum of German at University of Economics, Prague. It has been verified in the research whether the level of graduates´ knowledge for practice is sufficient and gives them competitive value on the labour market, what activities they do in German, how they reflect their studies of German at University of Economics, Prague and what their suggestions to curriculum, which would better respect their educational needs, are. Conclusions of the research are compared with the existing curriculum as it is depicted in graduate´s profile, as well as syllabuses of individual subjects and textbooks which are used in tuition at present. We derive from both of the steps that the nature of changes in curriculum is legitimate. Concrete suggestions for the innovation of curriculum where we take the findings of theoretical and research part into account follow the research part.

Operační výzkum na středních školách / Operational Research at Secondary Schools

Mančíková, Táňa January 2011 (has links)
Operational research is a complex of different disciplines which, due to the appliance of mathematical methods, seek for optimal solutions of complicated problems. The basics of particular disciplines or the whole subject are commonly being taught at universities in the Czech republic. The operational research curriculum was omitted from secondary education twenty years ago. This thesis deals with topics such as why and how the subject of operational research could once again be presented to secondary school students. This thesis discusses theoretical background as well as purely practical questions. That is why this thesis includes the parts of didactics and methodology of the subject. The result offers a complex perspective of a possible reimplementation of the operational research subject to secondary schools and to their students' awareness.

Využití regionální historie ve výuce dějepisu na příkladu Kladenska / The use of regional history in history classes with examples from Kladno region

Benešová, Kristýna January 2020 (has links)
The diploma thesis titled "The use of regional history in history classes with examples from Kladno region" deals with the topic of regional history, the history of the Kladno region and questionnaire about teaching regional history at schools in the Kladno region. It also offers a thought how this topic can be included in the history classes. One of the primary objectives of this thesis was to explain the importance of regional history and its inclusion in education. Relevant specialized literature was thoroughly analyzed for this purpose. The inclusion of this topic is especially important in order for the pupils to better understand various historical phenomena through an environment which is familiar to them. Another important objective was to find out whether regional history is being taught at all at schools in the Kladno region, what forms are used for this purpose, and which topics are included. In order to find the answers a questionnaire was sent to the teachers and pupils in the Kladno region. The results suggest that the majority of teachers attempt to include regional history in their history classes, even when faced with unfavorable time allotment. Roughly half of the pupils who answered the questionnaire has been taught regional history over the course of their education. The last...
