The aim of the thesis Functional thinking of high school students is an analysis and descrip- tion of chosen aspects of function theory at high school, which seems to be problematic. The first chapter of the thesis summarizes basic theoretical concepts of didactics of mathematics focusing on and describing selected researches in the framework of aspects. The second part deals with the analysis of the research realized in standard math lessons at high school. The final chapter of the thesis recapitulates the results of the research from the points of view of particular aspects and discuses their importance and the way of utilization in education.

Historický vývoj mediální didaktiky a její rozsah v České republice / Historical development of media didactics and its scope in the Czech Republic

The main goal of the thesis is to describe the development and the extent of media didactics in the Czech republic. The authors who examine media pedagogy are PhDr. Jan Mašek, Ph.D. a Mgr. Zdeněk Sloboda. The subject of the thesis is to clarify the concept of media didactics. This is important for the formation of historical development of the use of media during the teaching and for highlight the importance of media during the teaching and teaching with the use of media. Finally, the thesis try to find out the effects and the extent of tablets in the czech education system. By using quantitative questionnaire research was examined 200 teachers of primary schools, secondary schools and grammar schools. Based on the acquired data is possible to answer predetermined research questions: How widespread is the use of tablets during the teaching? What is the opinion of teachers to use tablets during the teaching? Does the use of tablets during the teaching influence the effectiveness of the teaching?

The present theoretical-empirical thesis deals with the comparison of three types of interpreting performance assessment: teacher assessment, evaluation by other students in the group (peer assessment) and self-assessment of the student interpreter. The theoretical part is a review of existing literature on general approaches to the different types of assessment, their importance in the acquisition of interpreting skills, recommended methods of interpreting performance assessment and their use in the training of consecutive interpreting. The empirical part of the thesis is a qualitative longitudinal study, involving students of the third and therefore the final year of the bachelor's degree programme in translation- interpreting (intercultural communication). The aim of the thesis is to identify the similarities and differences between different types of assessment and how the assessment developed over the period of the research. The study also examines how the self-assessment and peer evaluation of students studying interpreting only in the English-Czech combination differ from those of students who study interpreting of English in combination with another foreign language, and thus attend twice the number of practical interpretation seminars. The course of the reforms that have shaped the current state of the Legal faculty is shown in the light of historical development. The subject matter of Legal education is treated from the point of view of the modern approach to the theories of Legal studies. The present trends and new requirements developed after 1989 are taken into account. The conclusion takes into consideration the comparative views of Legal education and brings a complex analysis of the given problem.

This dissertation thesis Shaping of Legal Consciousness of non-law University Students aims to explore the process of forming legal literacy and consciousness of non-lawyers mainly via education. Premise or audited issue is that didactics and methodology of law and hence connected cultivation of legal consciousness of individuals are not very effective. Thereof the starting point is the anticipated inefficiency of teaching law for non-lawyers. The thesis firstly looks for the purpose of university education today as well as the position of its students. Further the concept of legal consciousness is presented. The last two chapters confirm some hypothesis using results of researches made for this thesis. The first research focuses on university teachers of law to non- lawyers, the second one deals with universities' students and graduates.

This diploma thesis deals with intellectually talented individuals and from the narrower point of view, gifted pupils in the subject of Czech language at the second level of elementary school. In the theoretical part, the author deals with the talents, definitions and concepts of this issue, existing models from various authors, characteristics of gifted children, approaches of Czech schools to the education of these children and extra-curricular possibilities for the development of their talent. This thesis also deals with linguistic intelligence and personality of the teacher. The main objective is to give a realistic picture of how teachers of the Czech language view gifted pupils and what differences they find between gifted individuals and ordinary students. Furthermore, the author of the thesis searches for the differences between the capabilities of pupils gifted at the Czech language and other pupils in fulfilling the assigned tasks. Last but not least, what is the point of view on education of the pupils themselves. In the practical part, using the structured interview method, information and opinions from teachers of talented pupils and pupils themselves to the teaching of the Czech language are collected. The thesis focuses on portraying historical events in musical theatre pieces. It explores especially the historical musical Hamilton that became a phenomenon in the field. The musical narrates the story of Alexander Hamilton and historical events that led to the foundation of the United States of America. The first part of the thesis analyses how the musical Hamilton portrays historical phenomena, events and personalities. It also explores various methods how they are staged. The results of this analysis will be used for comparison of musical Hamilton with other contemporary musicals. In the final part the thesis points out the possibilities of usage of modern musical theatre in history education.

Kuby, ZŠ Máj 1. Within education these hypothesis are beeing verified: 1. Do students know the term racism and do they know how to define it? 2. Do students have prejudice against other races?
