Regionální diferenciace populačního vývoje v Jihočeském kraji: historickogeografická analýza / Regional differentiation in the population development of South Bohemia: historic-geographic analysisKLUČKA, Štěpán January 2016 (has links)
The master's thesis deals with the formation of territorial differentiation in South Bohemia region from the point of population development. The structure of the regional settlement system has undergone dynamic and uneven development that has been affected by a wide range of varied factors. As a result of their spatial interactions, numerous micro-regional disparities appeared. The primary purpose of this study is to determine the impact of these factors both at the level of individual municipalities and the level of micro-regions. Empirical data for this research were collected from the national population censuses, regularly gathered from 1869. Because of this time constraint, the main attention is paid to the industrial period that is also considered as the most important stage for urbanization processes. The study is divided into four significant parts: the crucial analytical part is preceded by a brief introduction of the most important possible determinants and the contextualization of regional population development in the context of nationwide trends. The third part is the core of the research that is based on the analysis of key factors on a sample of 103 selected South Bohemian municipalities. The second analytical part builds on the conclusions of the previous one and deals with an assessment of changes in the dynamics of population development at the micro-regional level. Within the final synthesis, the micro-regions are divided into categories based on the core-periphery concept. Furthermore, the generalization of the main trends and the prediction is implemented. Finally, all the research hypotheses are both confirmed or refused.

Bilingvní třídy na 1. stupni ZŠ pohledem rovného přístupu ke vzdělání. Případové studie. / Bilingual classes on primary level from the perspective of educational equity. Case studies.Smith Slámová, Radka January 2018 (has links)
The diploma thesis compares learning conditions in bilingual and regular classrooms in two primary schools from the perspective of educational equity. The first chapter summarizes available information on bilingual classes in the Czech public school system (their prevalence, licensing conditions, and financing). The second chapter describes tracking in the Czech basic school system and its implications for educational inequity. The final chapter of the theoretical part describes the main school factors influencing student achievement in the Czech Republic and abroad. The empirical part presents case studies of two public schools that run a CLIL class. The schools differ in terms of the administrator of the bilingual class, target language, location, and financing of the class. The research compares regular and CLIL classes at each school with regards to admission procedures, pupil characteristics, learning conditions, teacher expectations, teaching methods, and other aspects influencing student achievement. The results reveal that bilingual and regular classes at both schools differ most in terms of socioeconomic compositition and student achievement, giving the pupils of bilingual classes an unfair advantage. However, the classes also differ in other aspects, of which the significance to parents...

Životní cyklus volně žijících améb. Diferenciace amfizoických améb rodu Acanthamoeba a Balamuthia / Live cycle of the free-living amoeba. Differentiation of amoebae of the genera Acanthamoeba and BalamuthiaKlieščiková, Jarmila January 2013 (has links)
Free-living pathogenic amoebae Acanthamoeba spp. and Balamuthia mandrillaris are causative agents of important diseases of human: rarely occurring but highly fatal granulomatous amoebic encephalitis (both) and keratitis (Acanthamoeba). One of the reasons for the problematic therapy is differentiation into highly resistant cysts often found in affected tissues. In our study we have found that correct encystation in Acanthamoeba requires apart from others, the presence of functioning Golgi apparatus transporting the cyst wall material to the cell surface; glycogen phosphorylase degrading glycogen into glucose which seems to be further used for cellulose synthesis and two non-constitutive cellulose synthases. Acanthamoeba cellulose synthases seem not to be inhibited by known herbicides. In the cyst wall of acanthamoebae we detected cellulose, -mannan, and -1, 3-1, 4-linked glucan [lichenin or mixed-linkage glucan (MLG)]. Cellulose is present in the inner (endocyst) and the outer (exocyst) layers of the cyst wall, whereas-mannan and MLG are found in the endocyst. In a protozoan organism, MLG was detected for the first time. The MLG of Acanthamoeba has a similar composition to that found in barley with high amount of cellobiosyl and cellotriosyl followed by cellotetraosyl units. In contrast, with...

Lidské multipotentní mezenchymové stromální buňky - kostní diferenciace a podpora krvetvorby / Human multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells - bone differentiation and hematopoietic supportPytlík, Robert January 2017 (has links)
Human mesenchymal stromal cells (hMSC) are adult stem or progenitor cells, which physiological role is reparation of damaged tissues. This is achieved mostly by secretion of trophic, angiopoietic and immunomodulatory factors. Beside this, hMSC have potential to differentiate in vitro into specialized cells, especially of the mesodermal lineages. Human MSC also significantly support hematopoiesis in hematopoietic niche. This knowledge raised high hopes for therapeutic use of hMSC, especially in regenerative medicine and treatment of autoimmune diseases, including graft versus host disease (GvHD). As a proof of concept served initially crude preparations of bone marrow mononuclear cells (BMMC), which contain small numbers of hMSC. In our hospital, two pilot clinical studies with BMMC were performed: study of treatment of acute myocardial infarction (negative, prematurely terminated) and study of treatment of peripheral leg arthery disease (promising results). Further research was aimed on optimalisation of hMSC cultivation method for clinical use to obtain highest possible yield and get free from animal proteins. Human MSC were traditionally cultivated in research-grade media with fetal calf serum (FCS), which can lead to immunization of patients after repeated application of hMSC. We achieved...

Jazyk a styl románu Ivana Landsmanna Pestré vrstvy / The language and style of Ivan Landsmann's novel Pestré vrstvy (Colourful layers)HRONOVÁ, Eva January 2011 (has links)
The final thesis is focused on a linguistics analysis of the debut Pestré vrstvy (Colourful layers; 1999) by Ivan Landsmann. The attention is also payed to specific linguistics forms and their function in the text. The theoretical part deals with a short characterization of functional style of artistic literature and textual and linguistics composition. The part about differentiation and stratification of national language follows. The practical part deals with an analysis which is done at four linguistics levels: phonetic-phonological, morphological, syntactic and lexical. The attention is especially payed to marked phenomena which are different from standard, neutral or unexpressive phenomena. The modes how to enrich the vocabulary of the characters seem to be also a component of this part. The result of the final thesis is considered to be the characterization of Ivan Landsmann?s language and style in the prose Colourful layers.

Diferenciace míst spotřeby z hlediska jejich estetiky / Aesthetic differentiation of consumption spacesMusilová, Marta January 2016 (has links)
(in English): A consumer freedom has gained importance hitherto assigned to labour and therefore has become a constituent of one's identity. The degree of such freedom is determined by the access to economical, spatial or symbolical resources. The symbolical resources are embodied in the feeling of inappropriateness which is built upon aesthetic correspondence that can be perceived as the correspondence between one's habitus and the aesthetic of the environment. In my thesis I elaborate on the meaning which is assigned to aesthetics when judging consumption spaces. I focus on consumption spaces situated in Prague's Nusle district which are soon to be gentrified. Therefore, the old consumption spaces might be pushed away in order to be replaced by the new ones, suitable for gentrifiers. I constrain consumption spaces to bars, restaurants and pubs, since they are particularly important in the Czech culture due to their function as a social bonding element and a resource of social capital. In my research I employ a visual methodological approach, particularly shooting script and grounded theory. Building upon that, I present the central category of "atmosphere" which comprises two components - social atmosphere, bundled with the liveliness of space and interpersonal ties, and aesthetic atmosphere,...

Krvetvorba u mihule mořské / Haematopoiesis in Sea lampreyKovář, Martin January 2017 (has links)
To find out if the haematopoietic system is common feature of vertebrates, we decided to examine haematopoiesis in a sea lamprey (Petromyzon marinus). All blood cells arises from the haematopoietic stem cells in higher vertebrates. We assume that this is common for the higher vertebrates and a jawless vertebrates, but nobody was interested in the jawless haematopoiesis since 1970. Using a reverse genetic, we identify homologues of important hematopoietic of higher vertebrates in transcriptome of the sea lamprey with emphasis on important receptors or transcription factors, because they can be used as the specific markers of different blood cells and their progenitors. Then we use those sequences for cloning, expression measurements and other work. We picked up sea lamprey as model organism because its unique phylogenetic position, important foe evo-devo studies, but also because lack of elementary knowledge about sea lamprey haematopoiesis. Key words: Petromyzon marinus, haematopoiesis, HSC, evo-devo
