Prevence virové hepatitidy typu C u injekčních uživatelů drog - proléčenost virové hepatitidy typu C mezi injekčními uživateli drog, účinnost léčby a související faktory na straně systému péče / Prevention of hepatitis C virus infection among injecting drug users - hepatitis C virus infection treatment rate among injecting drug users, treatment efficacy and related factors on the side of treatment system

Mravčík, Viktor January 2013 (has links)
Background: Injecting drug users (IDUs) represent considerable group of patients infected with hepatitis C virus (HCV). HCV treatment is an effective tool for reduction of HCV transmissions among IDUs. Nevertheless treatment rate among IDUs is rather insufficient. Treatment uptake, provision and adherence as well as its efficacy in IDUs are determined by number of specific factors. Aims: Mapping an extent of the provision of HCV treatment to IDUs in the Czech Republic, rules and practices for the admission of IDUs into HCV treatment and its provision, describing relevant factors related to drug use. Material and methods: From January to March 2011, a questionnaire survey among centres for treatment of viral hepatitis in the Czech Republic was conducted. 76 identified centres were addressed, of which 45 (59%) responded, and 40 (53%) filled in an online questionnaire. Results: Estimated number of centres treated HCV with combination of pegylated interferon α and ribavirin in the Czech Republic in 2010 was 61, 39 of them treated IDUs. Estimated 780 persons were treated, of whom 370 were (mostly ex-) IDUs. Reported treatment uptake in IDUs was 60% on average (range 0-90%). Treatment is completed by 80% of IDUs on average (0-100%) according to clinicians. Most clinicians reported no difference in the treatment...

Ska jag säga ja eller nej till droger?

Emil, Söderström January 2017 (has links)
The purpose of this study has been to examine what attitudes young adults have on drugs by problematizing what influence education might have on potential drug use. Furthermore, the study wants to scrutinize how primary schools use Alcohol, Narcotics. Doping, Tobacco teaching (ANDT).   The method used for acquiring empirical data constituted of two focus groups with a total of ten young adults and a survey with twelve primary school principals. The conversations from the focus groups were recorded, transcribed and analyzed thematically which resulted in four different themes.   The results demonstrate that the respondents have shaped their attitudes on drugs through their parents during their upbringing. Furthermore, the results display how attitudes on drugs might be influenced by peer pressure. However, teaching in school did not show any correlation to the respondents’ attitudes.   The conclusion of the study is that knowledge about drugs in general might result in a better understanding about the consequences, for instance how drug use damages the body and might create an addiction. The study shows that the attitudes among young adults are shaped under influence of several factors and arenas, but that further research on the topic is still needed for the public health.

Optimalizace pokusného NQR spektrometru / Optimization of the experimental NQR spectrometer

Segiňák, Ján January 2017 (has links)
The thesis deals with the NQR spectroscopy, which is one of the modern non-destructive measurement and diagnostic methods for the characterization of various materials. It is using a quadrupole moment - a property of atomic nuclei of certain isotopes. A method of nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) is in principle very similar to nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Thesis in the theoretical part analyse the principles of NMR and NQR, describes the possible use of this method to detect for example explosives, drugs, and other chemicals. In the following chapters are analysed the key parameters of NQR spectrometer and the principle of the chosen measurement method. The practical part deals with the individual components of NQR spectrometer, the design of possible improvements and programming of the measuring sequence. Závislost na jehle v souvislosti s psychopatologickými charakteristikami a mírou rizikového chování u injekčních uživatelů drog / Needle fixation in relation to psychopatological characteristics and risk behavior of injecting drug users

Čížkovská, Dominika January 2020 (has links)
Background: At the point, when injecting still seems to be the most common use among problem drug users and there has been no change in the long term, despite the long tradition of harm reduction services in the Czech Republic, it is important to examine the context of this issue and try to understand it more closely, and therefore understanding the phenomenon of needle fixation. The second aim is to examine a possible connection between the injecting users psychopathological characteristics and the phenomenon of needle fixation. The third intention of the work is to find out whether and pošibly how the level of risky behaviour differs among needle-fixated drug users in the context of their psychopathological characteristics. Methods: The chosen method of data collection was a battery of questionnaires: IN-COME questionnaire, BBV-TRAQ, SCL-90 and NEFPRO. The battery of the questionnaire was administered with the participation of the researcher. In addition to descriptive statistical methods, the Mann-Whitney test (4 tests), the Chi-square test (11 tests) and the Spearman correlation coefficient were chosen as methods for testing based on research...

Plánování sociálních služeb optikou sociální konstrukce cílových populací / Social service planning in the perspective of social construction of target populations

Růžička, Jáchym January 2017 (has links)
The aim of this paper is to explain the policy process of regional social service development strategies in the area of services for drug users. The process is explained on examination of two cases of very diverse regional strategies representing good and bad practice. Social construction of target populations is used as a theoretical framework and the research aims to verify and develop its theoretical assumptions. Subjective perceptions of key actors are deconstructed through public document analysis and in- depth interviews. Service providers are perceived as a trustworthy and competent policy actor and as such they play an important role in the development of medium-term strategy. The prevailing positive construction of drug users by providers and the strong position of service providers contribute to broad distribution of services for drug users in both examined regions. The main difference between the cases is explained by different perception of drug users by the public, different continuity of planning processes, and variance in the dynamic relationship between public opinion and key public policy makers.
